My Queen is a very feminine smelling fragrance with its light, airy and very wearable qualities. Alexander McQueen gains inspiration from royalty and theatre hence the name of this perfume and his others including Kingdom.

It was created in 2005. The bottle has a great design, McQueen is a fan of glass art and so, the bottle design reflects this with its elegance as well as McQueen's desire to make the bottle comfortable to hold in a woman's hand (I have to admit, it's easy to hold and spray).

The perfume was designed to make any woman feel like a Queen. At first you can smell the blend of almond and violet until it settles and smells more floral with hints of white musk. Another distinct smell is that of vanilla. It has great staying power; it doesn't fade or change smell completely. It's great for days out, meals, for the workplace, anywhere really that you need it to last. I spray it on a morning and I still smell just as good when I get home. The bottle looks great on the dressing table too.

The perfume comes in 30ml, 50ml and 100ml bottles at £19, £26 and £35 respectively (this is only the average, different places give different prices, I recommend places like www.frangrancedirect.co.uk which sell perfumes at discounted rates).

Other places to buy it are Boots, Debenhams and most department stores.
