This fragrance from Avon has a very girly looks and a cute name of 'Be ... Kissable', it was very cheaply priced at £8 for a 100ml bottle but i can safely say i got what i paid for. While it doesn't have a bad scent, it actually smells quite pretty and has an Orangey scent about it, but you can literally barely smell it! I would have to douse mysef in half the bottle for it to be actually smelled on me by anyone else. Its not far off being a simple bottle of pink water! Even the bottle is plain and simple.
When wearing this perfume, if you do catch a hint of a smell of it, it's nowhere near powerful enough to smell like you're actually wearing perfume and instead you just smell like you've had a recent fresh shower. This might make a nice little gift for a young girl as perhaps their first perfume with it not being strong, but considering it was intended for an adult woman it really falls short of being a decent perfume.
If you're going to buy an Avon perfume i wouldn't reccomend you go for this one unless you are buying for a really young girl who only needs a very faint scent.
This Perfume has been out for a couple of years in Avon. I think it first came out around a Valentine's time, with the name Be Kissable, then it was marketed for the Kissable thing! This used to be more a limited edition, but has been in the Avon books steady for some time now. Since it is often on the special offer price I keep thinking this would get discontinued, but it seems to be hanging in there!
This 50ml bottle costs £8 on the normal price, but it can often be found for £4. A good enough price for the 50ml, but you can probably tell by looking at the bottle that this is more a cheap and cheerful Perfume. I would say it is more marketed at Teenagers which I am not, but it was worth a try for the price and trying a different Perfume anyway.
The box is a long sort of thin box, but wide enough. This is a light pink with a few darker pink stripes on it. The lettering is quite small and it looks ok. There is also a Kiss mark on the box as well. The bottle is nice enough. It looks like the Dooyoo picture and it is a light pink and a nice shaped bottle. The lid isn't that nice looking, but it's what's inside that counts anyway. The bottle is quite long and thin as well, and it is easy enough to hold the bottle.
This is quite a light scent but at least if you wanted to build the scent up you could spray a lot of it. At the offer price it isn't bad an idea to spray loads if you wanted to. The smell seems to be a mixture of Juicy Citrus Fruits and say Plum scents mixed with a sparkling scent and perhaps some light white Floral scattering. It is a nice enough scent and nice if you just like a fresh light, airy scent, but it does seem like a Teenage kind of scent. It is quite sweet smelling as well.
I will use this now and again, but wouldn't really buy it myelf much. It's just not exactly what I look for in a Perfume, but I have bought my niece a bottle for Christmas and I know she will like it.
Worth a try when it is on offer, you never know you may like it!
I am a fan of Avon perfumes as the majority of them smell really nice and are so much cheaper than all the designer ones.
I have tried and tested quite a few Avon perfumes and I currently have a bottle of Be Kissable.
Well it smells sweet, and reminds me of a huge bouquet of flowers. It's a very girly perfume. The perfume comes in a tall pink bottle with pink lid, nothing really special or that sets it aside from other bottles of perfume. Although the perfume smells nice, you have to spray and spray and spray and 15 minutes later you need to spray and spray again. The scent almost disappears more or less after you've just sprayed. It's a real shame as the perfume itself does smell really nice but it just doesnt last and no-one wants to waste their pennies on a bad product so be warned! I am almost down to the bottom of the bottle in a month and not cos I use it alone and not other perfumes but just when I've worn it I'm spraying a good 6-7 times to smell of the fragrance.
Even though a few years ago I had never tried an avon product in my life, I suddenly find that my dressing table is filling up with various avon fragrances that I have received as gifts.
This particular eau de toilette is from Avon's be kissable collection, which was launched on Valentine's Day 2006. My bottle holds 50ml, and is available on ebay from as little as £2 to £12.99.
The bottle itself looks quite cheap in my opinion, and not as nice as some of the other avon fragrances that are on my dressing table. The bottle is quite tall, with a deep pink lid complimenting the pink tinted fragrance inside. Across the front of the bottle, Avon has emblazoned the name 'be.....kissable'.
An initial spray of this gives a rather strong, musky scent, but once it settles, there is a nicer fruitiness to the smell. In fact, the fragrance includes top notes of yuzu, ginger blosson and coriander, as well as notes of pinl freesia, frangipani and violet, with a hint of milky sandalwood included. Now I'm afaid to say that the only scent I get from this fragrance is a light fruity one when it has settled.
Once the fragrance has settled, I don't mind the scent, however, may main problem with this eau de toilette, is that it does not last AT ALL. In fact after at least an hour, I can no longer smell it on the back of my wrist, and even though it is a nice light spray to have on during the recent hot weather, you need to respray this every few hours, otherwise it is pointless in using it. I have now found myself simply trying to use it up now, by spraying several times a day.
This is a very disappointing fragrance from Avon, even though I have actually quite liked some of the other scents available from this company. There is almost an immature feel to this perfume, in that its packaging seems to be aimed more at young teenage girls, as opposed to older women.
All in all though, if a fragrance does not even last until lunch time, I feel it is pointless buying it, and so will continue to simply use up this eau de toilette when I am at home, but I will certainly not be relying on wearing it on a night out.
