Advantages: Lovely scent, not overpowering

Disadvantages: Tacky, gimmicky bottle

I was quite disappointed when Bond Girl was launched, there was a lot of hype and I was really excited about it. When I first saw the bottle my immediate reaction was: cheap and tacky. When I think of Bond, I think sleek, sophisticated and classy. The new Bond Girl has a gimmicky bottle, the colour of the perfume makes it look cheap, and overall I think they could have done a lot better with the look of the perfume.


Then I smelt it and thought perhaps I'd been too harsh. It has a pleasant scent, not overpowering but not too subtle that you wonder if you actually put any on.

It really did grow on me and is now one of my favourite perfumes. Despite my initial reaction over the design of the bottle, I feel the perfume itself more than makes up for it. And as with most Avon perfumes, the value for money is excellent.
