Although I don't think this still features in the main Avon book (I may be wrong), the last time I bought it was from the Sale book. It was out for quite some time and is a nice fruity Perfume.
This comes in a 50ml bottle and cost £10 on the full price. This being Avon it was on offer more often than not. This often sold for £5, and I paid £4 when I bought it.
The box is a rectangular shape and a light orange colour. There is dashes of brighter colour on the box as well, and it looks eye catching enough because of the brightness. The bottle is alright as well. It is the same light to medium Orange colour as the box, and there is a dash of Pink on this. Again this looks vibrant enough. It looks quite cheap but I think most Avon Perfume bottles do. I suppose it is cheap though and I think this is more aimed at the Teenage market due to the packaging.
So how does this smell? It's a little bit different smelling than I thought it would be. It's a Fruity scent which seems to mostly be an Orangy tang mixed perhaps with Mango, which I suppose is the reason for the colouring. There seems to be a slight sweetness to this as well and perhaps a Dash of Musk in here. I thought this would all be about the Fruity scent, but it is nice to smell the different notes in here.
This doesn't last all that long as a scent. I had a generous spray of this, and could smell it for a few hours afterwards, but after about 4 hours I couldn't smell this at all. I didn't mind this so much for the price I paid, but if I paid £10 then I would have expected this to last a bit longer.
A nice enough scent and I would recommend a try of this when it's at a good price, but I wouldn't rate this as a favourite or that.
I bought this from Avon sometime last year, and as it is one of my favourite summer perfumes I thought I would write a review on it today, in June which is supposed to be the start of summer. I say supposed to be. Right now here its raining and cold.
When I ordered this it cost me something like £8 which I think is very reasonable for a perfume. When you go to places like The Perfume Shop and the like, they all try to sell you perfumes costing over £50 which I think is just ridiculous. I have bought more expensive perfumes for myself in the past, until I discovered Avon, that is. Since then I have saved myself pounds and pounds, as well as smelling gorgeous!
The packaging of this perfume is very summery. You can see it in the picture that has been provided by dooyoo. It is bright yellow with an orange lid and a pink bit in the corner. The name, Brazil Beat, is also very summery. The whole bottle just reminds me of being on holiday.
I think there is 50ml in the bottle and it lasts you all summer.
This smells so gorgeous. It is fruity and floral. I think you would say it is quite girly, and it is definitely very summery. I really, really like it. When people have smelt this perfume they always seem to think it smells really nice, too. And when I wear it I am constantly reminded of being on holiday. For all these reasons I would definitely recommend this eau de toilette spray. Recommended :)
I adore perfume and usually have at least four different fragrances on the go, for different occasions and different times of day. I bought this when it first appeared in the Avon book and was at a special price. It was so reasonably priced I was able to keep in my bag and spray it on throughout the day. It never semed overpowering or sickly It is really good for spraying into your hair as well and when your hair moves you can smell it. A number of my friends asked what I was wearing and were really surprised to hear the price as they thought it would have cost so much more. I will definitely be purchasing it again, especially to take on holiday as it will make a good spritzer when the weather is very hot. Not all the Avon perfumes last on me but this one does.
As a Avon repersentative im always trying their new products, as i get them that little bit cheaper.. Im also a very curious person, so have to try everything for myself. I really quite like this new perfume. It has a very summery fresh fruity smell. Ideal for the younger generation of us, or for the young at heart! The perfume is not too overpowering with the sweet fruity smell though - Every woman i know has always asked me which perfume im wearing and where they can buy it from. The bottle is a decent size and it lasts a fair while if you use it every day like i do. I also quite like the eyecatching design the bottle has as it always gets people asking what perfume im wearing. Only thing i have to complain about this perfum is that the scent dosnt last too long whilst wearing it. It seems to fade away quite quickly, so reapplial is always needed. Over all 4/5!
As a representative I do like to try new Avon products where possible, and I could not resist ordering this new Brazil Beat EDT when it was available for representatives at a very low price. For customers, a 50ml bottle of this perfume costs £10 usually, but it is presently available for just £5 which is pretty unbeatable where perfumes as nice as this are concerned.
There are two other products available in this range; a body mist which is usually priced at £3.50 but is presently just £2, and a shimmering body lotion which is also £3.50 full price but on offer for £2 at present. I will hopefully be able to review the shimmering body lotion seperately very soon as that is another pleasant product.
The packaging that this product comes in is rather unusual, but it is attractive and appealing nevertheless. I was surprised to note that the yellowy-orange bottle looked attractive combined with hot pink text, but it really does. It possibly is not the sort of product I would feel made for a tasteful dressing display at my age, but I could see younger Avon shoppers really appreciating the youthful appearance of this product.
The scent is described by Avon as being "an alluring blend of florals and fruit to invigorate your senses". Based on that description, I had really expected this to be a fruity perfume like Avon's Fire Me Up is, but was concerned that this might be a fleeting perfume that would not stick well. I was a little surprised to find that this is actually quite a thick and musky perfume first and foremost. It is a lot more mature than I expected it to be, which is something that I think another reviewer of this product noted also.
It is still very sweet and fruity though, with the fruit scent coming out stronger for me personally than the floral scent. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the perfume had an element of depth to it, and that it was not just a candy-fruit spray that would barely smell and immediately disappear as some of Avon's younger perfumes can be.
I found that this was a perfume that stayed put all day long, and in the same way the Tahitian Holiday perfume is revived with a gust of wind, so is this perfume. I think it makes it an ideal summer scent for that reason alone.
If you have previously tried and enjoyed Avon's Fire Me Up or Make Me Smile then I think you would really like this. It is not my number one choice because there are other perfumes I presently own and prefer, but I still think this deserves five stars for being such great value for money.
When it comes to buying and using up fragrances I'm the first to admit I'm a bit too heavy handed with them! I use alot of designer fragrances but the problem is that, that costs a fortune of course. I don't mind using them if I'm going out or got a date with a hottie or summat but I do mind using them when I'm home alone and not leaving my house though and I do, do that! So of late I've been looking for cheaper alternatives just so I can simply have a squirt of something smelly on my skin to keep me happy otherwise I feel naked!
I'm not a massive fan of Avon products however I am of my lovely Avon Rep Anita. I think she's a lovely woman who works hard come rain or shine and is always so chirpy so I always make small purchases with her really to keep her coming back and her pennies ticking over! I'm so good and selfless lol. So a couple of weeks back I leafed through the catalogue and once again, was left feeling a bit lost. There was nothing I fancied buying so in the end I opted to get a bottle of this and the matching body spray. At the offer price of £5.00 a bottle and the thoughts of summer coming this captured my imagination and also knowing I was saving a fiver off the recommended price..helped! Lol.
Long oblong box in bright pinks, oranges and yellows and on the front in pink writing I'm told it is Avon Brazil Beat. In white writing on one side of the box I'm told a bit about the product (and then Avon tell me that over and over again in different languages all about it), then on the back of the box I'm given a list of ingredients, given contact details for Avon and told it's made in Poland, the recycle symbol is displayed and finally the size is stated (50ml) and basically all that information is given to me in various foreign languages again ....and again lol. The bottle is glass and cylinder shaped (so you can see-through it of course) and has an orange push button, plastic sprayer to the top of it and over that a matching lid pushes and pulls off easily. On the front of the bottle there is like a bright pink splash pattern and again in matching writing I'm told it is Avon Brazil Beat and on the bottom of the bottle I'm told it is EDT, size is again stated and contact details for Avon are given. All in all nice, fun and fairly young looking packaging. I do like being able to see the light orange liquid through bottle and everything really is colour co-ordinated with this which I do like.
A Bit About The Product According To The Box.....
Vibrant and passionate, the soul of Brazil lives on in this spirited dance of sparkling fruits, joyful florals and energetic woods.
The Perfume Itself....
....Is surprising nice. By that I mean I expected a fragrance in your face (going by the packaging) and directed at youngsters. However it really isn't and it's entirely pleasant.
For me this is an every-day scent. Sure it lacks that expensive, usually polished smell you get from designer fragrances but hey this cost me 5 quid!
It is a nice blend of none distinct, slightly oriental flowers with a sweet musky undertone to it which really isn't too sweet. However it is very uplifting, kicks a slight sparkle and is light though still heavily fragrant.
It's easily sprayed onto the skin. Smells harsher than what it settles down to at first (after 2 minutes settles nicely) and is none agitating on the skin (and I possess very sensitive skin indeed). You don't need much at all to fragrance yourself up and once applied it lasts several hours but the size of this is handy to carry about and top up with if desired just don't take a glass bottle clubbing for heavens sake lol!
All In All....
A very pleasant floral perfume for any age really. It's a long laster in the bottle and on the skin, is uplifting and very feminine indeed. I like the fact it retains it's fragrance for a very long time and I didn't expect that from something so cheap to buy. It's a fresh day-time fragrance in my view (as I have said already) that is very well blended and invigorating and I for one am mighty pleased I got this because it keeps me feeling fresh and happy all day long... and the bf likes it too...bonus lol.
Only available in Avon and a nice summery buy in my view!
