WhenI was younger, there was two perfumes my mam used to use, that I can recall. One of them was the gorgeous Lulu. And the other, it was Far Away. She used to buy this from Avon quite a lot, and I always used to get a squirt now and again! I simply loved it, I felt so grown up!

One interestng thing about this perfume is the bottle. Its base is a basic rounded shape with a little pattern, slightly clear too. On the top there is a gorgeous little pink slightly spherical lid, very shiny and smooth! This may seem quite plain, but to my young eyes, it was then fantastic! Around this neck there is a little black tastle. Now this was simply amazing for me then, it was so soft and fun! And even now I think it gives the bottle a slightly fun edge ot its classy appearance!

Naturally, appearance is important with fragrance bottles, but what we really want to know is how this perfume smelled! When you take off the pink cap, you reveal a little sivler nossle. Pressing this and a spray of perfume will come whooshing out. Directing it to my wrist, I spray the bottle. The perfume is quite cold, relaxing. I let it settle for a second before giving it a sniff.

Breathing in I examined the aroma. It had quite a musky smell, very heavy and strong. Though somewhere there was a slightly hint of fruit, giving the elegent perfume more of an edge. It was amazing, but not something for the younger. I had a look at its notes online and found it includes oriental, sandalwood. I had another perfume with that in it, but the two were totally different! Nonetheless, it was gorgeous!

So this is an amazing perfume, a great present for anybody who likes it, especially women, I'd say, in their twenties or up. You can buy it from Avon for around £12 for a 50ml bottle, which I feel is actually quite a reasonable price! My Kylie 30ml bottle cost a lot mroe than that (but it was a present so its all okay!). I have a Far Away perfume stick too, which is almost like a little wax pencil you rub on your wrist to release the fragrance.

The perfume scent lasts for quite a while, and you can still smell it lingering a good few hours after spraying. It is definitely worth the money and will last you! And Mother's Day is coming up - a possible gift idea?
