This perfume was a limited edition version of the original Far Away perfume. I know a lot of people prefer the original Far Away but I like this one. This was in the Avon books for about 4 months, but in the last book it said it wasn't going to be in the books again. You will probably find that this comes in the odd sale book and perhaps comes back as a limited edition sometime.
I love the design of the bottle. It is a sort of round shape and has a small round black lid. It has a nice black tassle that hangs around the neck of the bottle and this makes the bottle look expensive and just a nice look. The glass is frosted and you can see the pink liquid through the bottle. The box this comes in is a deep pink square box and it has the writing in black swirls on it.
So to the smell? It is just a lovely smell. It is quite a heavy smell, but after it's been sprayed for about 10 minutes and it settles down then it is nice on your skin. It has an oriental scent and has a kind of jasmine, musky smell to it. The original Far away has a more heavy smell to it, but this one has the original smell mixed in with some floral scents as well.
If you like the original Far Away this makes a lighter scent, so look out for it in future Avon books
As I have said many times before to anyone that has read any of my other reviews on avon;I'm a big fan of most of their products especially their perfumes which I find as good as the designer makes if not better in some cases. This latest Far away perfume is as good as the original Far away, but is not quite as sweet smelling,it has a very oriental smell about it. The design is more or less the same as ordinary Far away- it comes in a round, flat,( pink) see through glass bottle, with a black tassle around a gold coloured neck and a black and pink round top. It's got quite a strong smell to it so you only need a few spritzes but it does last a fair while. Although I think it's a perfectly nice smelling eau de parfum I definately prefer the original Far away, but it's worth trying!
