I love my perfumes, im a smoker and would rather not smell like an ashtray all day long! I saw this in the avon brochure on offer at £4 usually £8 for a 50ml bottle and I thought id give it a go, the description was "ruby red pomegranate with bold black cherry and the sensuality of amber" cheap and cheerful and if it smells good bonus!
I love Escada "rockin rio" its my fave perfume but they change the name and ingredients every year, which is a tad annoying when you find something you love! Avons fire me up is the closest to rockin rio I have ever found, and at a fraction of the price.
Its fruity and lasts a good few hours before I need to re-apply but for non smokers you probably wouldnt have to re-apply it. Its strong, sweet and very uplifting, ive had people stop me and ask what perfume im wearing and theyre shocked at the price being so cheap and that its from Avon.
If youre a fruity perfume lover I would certainly recommend this to you, my friends love it and my boyfriend always comments on how sexy it smells!
They also do a few other little bottles like this, make me smile and make me wonder, I love them all but fire me up is the fave! At such a cheap price I can afford to buy all 3 often, for less then you would pay for 1 bottle of expensive branded perfume. Would make a great gift :) and looks cute on the dressing table
Fire Me Up is one of my recent favourites from Avon fragrances. It is very new and different to any other fragrance in the book or that I have smelled anywhere to be honest.
There is a strong cinnamon and spice scent to this that makes me want to eat the perfume! It is warm, sweet, sexy and vibrant. Avon describe this as being fruity and gourmand which is very accurate. They also describe using this scent as "Experience luscious ruby red pomegranate spiked with bold black cherry and the sensuality of amber... feel the exhilaration!" Which I again think is an excellently accurate description.
I have no personal experience of red pomegranate but I can say there is a real spicy berry scent to this perfume which I presume must similar. I do not know if it is amber I can smell or there really is cinnamon in here but that also comes through with a passion.
The perfume lasts a lot better than many Avon perfumes do and I can still catch a whiff of this perfume late into the evening having applied a few sprtizes first thing in the morning. I tend to spray this to both my pulse points and my clothing to get an extra deep scent.
This is only £8 for a 50ml bottle and in brochure 18 it is just £4! I will be stocking up on this personally and highly recommend other people give it a try at the price. This is one of the nicest most different perfumes I have tried in a very long time.
Fire me up for the evening in ruby red pomegranate spiked with bold black cherry and the sensuality of amber!
