~*~*~ Avon Secret Fantasy ~*~*~

~ What is it? ~

Secret Fantasy is the first scent in the Secret Fantasy range that Avon introduced. I think it was released at the end of 2010 and that is when I first bought it. I bought it simply because it was on an introductory offer.

~ The Bottle ~

The bottle is coloured in a nice cerise colour, it's quite a basic shaped bottle, similar to an upside down pear with the top cut off! The shoulders of the bottle are nicely rounded and upon these sits a silver spritzer. Around the neck is a small removable cuff that holds a cute little key shaped cast iron charm on a 2cm stainless steel chain.
On the front of the bottle you will see the name of the scent - Secret Fantasy in white writing, with pink hints. The bottle has a nice shine to it but is quite plain in comparison to the other perfumes I own. It is nice enough though.

~ The Scent ~

I quite like the sweet scent of this, it opens with a tart berryness that quickly softens down to a softer powdery scent. It's a girly femine scent that I would say is more suited to the younger market.

The notes in this fragrance are ~

Top Notes ~ Pinapple, Red Berries.
Middle Notes ~ Jasmine, Lilac.
Base Notes ~ Musk, Sandalwood, Amber.

~ The Price & Availibility ~

Being an Avon product you can buy it from a local rep or online at www.avonshop.co.uk. The usual price is £11 but it is currently on offer for £6. The price is for a 50ml bottle. They have also introduced a 15ml purse spray.

I have checked online and have found there are many bottles available on www.ebay.co.uk at various prices.

~ Overall ~

Avon describe this as ' Sweet. Innocent. Warm ' which is quite right. I do find it has a nice sweetness about it and like I have already said I would say this is more aimed at the younger market and would make an ideal gift for teenage girls.
I tend to use it more as a body spray if I am honest and just tend to grab it and spritz it on. I haven't re-purchased this as I feel it's a little expensive as I use it as a body spray rather than just a squirt or two. And I also don't find the scent is very long lasting, within two hours it is barely noticeable.

It's a nice scent but not one I will be buying again in a hurry as there are much nicer scents available.
