Avon is not normally somewhere I would look to buy perfume from, but Secret Fantasy Star was given to me as a present. I must say I was a little dubious when I saw the bottle, which I felt might be better suited to a young teenager. However, I got a very pleasant surprise when I sprayed it. The scent is in no way overpowering, it seems to linger very inconspiculously in the background. I do feel that the fragrance is more like something a younger girl might wear, but I have absolutely no objections to wearing it.

Not being a great one for describing smells, all I will say is that is has a fruity quality to it, making it a lovely light and fresh perfume to wear. You will find the smell stays on you all day, I particularly noticed my hair seems to smell of it for the whole day.

Also, the bottle is very cute with it's charm around the neck, which makes it a very pretty present to give. The price isn't bad either!
