This new perfume, just released by Avon this May, is part of Avon's long running range called Today Tomorrow Always. The Perfume's official name is 'Today Tomorrow Always Amour' - quite a mouthful - s I think I'll just call it Amour!
This be being promoted by Olivia Wilde and is marketed as a romantic perfume.
Fragrantica website state - 'Love elixir opens with optimistic and luminous citruses supported by fresh and juicy green notes and pink pepper which rekindles feelings. The heart of the composition blooms with a bouquet of white flowers composed of gracious white magnolia, lily of the valley and delicate jasmine petals. Floral harmony is full of emotions and is resting on the base of strong woody notes of sandalwood and cedar, accompanied with musk, symbolizing strong feelings of true love and gentleness. The main, most prominent aromas of the composition include citrusy notes, delicate jasmine and sensual musk'.
This a lightish and feminine perfume. It lasts reasonably well - for 3-4 hours and does linger on your clothes.
Night and light enough to use through the day or for an evening out. Avon state the main components are jasmine, magnolia and lily of the valley. I must admit I cannot actually distinguish any single floral aroma, but they are blended very well and it does not smell cheap or particularly 'Avon'.
It has a reasonably expensive quality to it and although not too strong and overpowering does give you a good delicate white floral sort of smell, which if clean fresh and not too obtrusive.
I don't think I would want to pay full price but ti is reasonable for the £9 currently being charged. Not one I would rave over or which would be my all time favourite but it is pleasant and inoffensive and refreshing and would be particularly nice to wear during summer months.
Quite a 'safe' sort of perfume f you were buying someone a gift as I doubt people would take a dislike to it.
As will all Avon fragrances you can return it if you are not happy with it.
