The Benefit Maybe Baby Eau de Toilette is available for GBP 19.50.
The Eau de Toilette comes in a glass bottle with a black cap. On the glass bottle is the product name. The glass bottle contains 50 ml.
The Eau de Toilette is described as follows. "Our warm and inviting fragrance captures a playful tumble of white blossoms. Sparkling and flirtatious...maybe baby."
The top notes are apricot and white ginger. The middle note is made up of fresh water blossoms of cyclamen, lychee and bergamot. The base notes are white musk, Himalayan poppy and warm peach.
The Eau de Toilette is a pretty intense fragrance that can and should be used sparingly. The Eau de Toilette smells clean and clear. Often these scents are very pungent, reminiscent of soap or detergent, which is why I would never use such a thing as a body fragrance but only as a room spray, although this Eau de Toilette is really different. Nevertheless, the very fresh and clean smell, resonates with a very feminine, warm and slightly fruity flavor reminds me of the scent also easy on the roses. In any case, it is the kind of fragrance to suit any occasion. The fragrance is elegant and gives a good feeling, makes the wearer more and more confident look and still female. You can not compare with the summery fresh scents that are otherwise found on the shelves him. The scent is super friendly and does not irritate skin or eyes particularly. The durability of the fragrance is amazing. Not only, but also because of the intensity of the perfume. So you really need not use very much to smell all day wonderful.
I can recommend the Benefit Maybe Baby Eau de Toilette, as the scent is long-lasting and suits any occasion.
I do quite like some Benefit products. Porefessional is one of my all time always must have products. Their perfume looks very nice and is in nice original bottles but I think they are expensive for what is in fact a light cologne sort of scent.
Benefit Cosmetics was founded by twin sisters in San Francisco, California in 1976 They began as a small beauty boutique which offered help for beauty problems with 'quick fix' products.
This perfume sells for around £30 for 100 ml and 50 ml is about £20 so it is not the most expensive but still,a price that you would expect a quality product from.
Benefit describe their Maybe bay as ""Our warm and inviting fragrance captures a playful tumble of white blossoms. Sparkling and flirtatious...maybe baby."
This is a fruity floral perfume that has top Notes of apricot and white ginger, middle notes of fresh water blossoms of cyclamen, lychee and bergamot and finally base notes of white musk, Himalayan poppy and warm peach.
It is a lovely feminine scent that is fresh and appealing but sadly on me it just doesn't seem to last that long which is disappointing.
the perfume comes in a clear glass, transparent bottle so you can see the pretty pink product inside and know exactly how much is left at any time. It has an interesting black lid and a spray nozzle under that. I found the spray was efficient sending out a nice amount of fine mist so that I wasn't soaked but enough to get a nice coverage and scent on my skin and clothes as I spray it over my head so it falls onto my hair and body.
I do quite like this but I have others I prefer so probably wouldn't buy it again unless I saw it at a bargain price on Ebay!
stso the pale pink liquid can be seen. The branding is minimalistic but it works well; it's a nice and subtle bottle which I like - I hate over the top, tacky perfume bottles! The black lid is quite an unusual shape and it is easy to remove and put back on. T
For the past couple of weeks I have been wearing Maybe Baby, a gorgeous fragrance from the Benefit cosmetics company. I wear quite a few different Benefit make up items such as the mascara, the primer and the cheek stain and when I made a recent purchase I received a sample size of this perfume. According to an article I read, "Benefit Cosmetics is a manufacturer of cosmetics founded and headquartered in San Francisco, California.
Benefit Cosmetics was founded in 1976 by twins Jean and Jane Ford. Initially founded as a beauty boutique, the shop specialized in quick-fix products for beauty dilemmas.
Benefit make up is unique compared to its competitors and draws in the customer due to its quirky packaging. Different products each have their own individual humorous design which makes the product stand out. The approach which Benefit have gone for is to appeal to the female market hypnotising its customers into such a "pretty and cute" design; the numerous range of fonts, images and colours break all rules of a consistent house style yet Benefit manage to pull this off incredibly well.
Although I like their make up I had never until this point tried one of their perfumes so I was excited to try it. I definitely think it was a good marketing ploy/campaign by Benefit as I love a freebie and will usually always use it, especially when its from one of my favourite make up brands and now, because I have enjoyed the trial size so much, as soon as its finished, which will only be a few more weeks I think, I will be purchasing the full size version of this perfume. What I was really excited to find out was that a 50ml bottle only costs £19.50. This is quite cheap for a Benefit product and also when it comes to perfume this is on the cheaper side too when you compare it to a Marc Jacobs or a Calvin Klein perfume for example.
According to Benefit they describe Maybe Baby as, "Our warm and inviting fragrance captures a playful tumble of white blossoms. Sparkling and flirtatious...maybe baby."
The fragrance has Top Notes: apricot and white ginger. Middle Notes: fresh water blossoms of cyclamen, lychee and bergamot and Base Notes: white musk, Himalayan poppy and warm peach.
I love this fragrance. It is lovely and fresh and more on the fruity side than the flowery side which I really like. It's wonderful and light but still keeps its fragrance for quite a while after you have sprayed it on.
It comes in a simplistic bottle and this is reflected in the trial size as well with just the words Maybe Baby written on it and a nice spray action at the top.
All in all a lovely Benefit fragrance.
I have never tried a Benefit perfume before but was bought this one for Christmas and was excited to try it out.
I'm surprised I've never been tempted by this before because it retails at around £26 for 100ml which is a pretty good price for a perfume. I hate it when you buy a really expensive perfume because you feel like you have to be careful how much you use but with this it is definitely okay to have an extra spritz.
The bottle is fairly unexciting to be honest, but nice and simple I suppose. It is a long cylindrical glass bottle with a black plastic lid and silver metal pump. The liquid inside is a pale pinky/peachy colour which is very pretty and has a real feminine touch to it which softens the overall look of the bottle.
The scent is very soft and warm, which is definitely what I look for in a perfume. The notes are white ginger, lychee, apricot, bergamot, cyclamen, poppy, peach, blossom and musk. These fruity and floral scents combine together to make a really pleasant and warming scent which has spicy and woody undertones.
I love the overall feel of this perfume, it has a freshness to it but also a all consuming warmth which makes it perfect for summer or winter. I also love how it can transform from a light fruity day scent to an earthy sensual evening fragrance. This is a very versatile perfume and that also makes it great value for money.
My only slight reservation would be that it is somewhat lacking in staying power. I think you inevitably find this with cheaper perfumes because they don't contain as high quality products as more expensive perfumes. This usually sticks around for a few hours but you probably need to top up mid way through the day.
I think this is a reasonably priced perfume that smells very nice, it would be a great gift because it is of a good quality and scent but not overly expensive. There are definitely perfumes I prefer but I would happily return to this one if I am ever running out of ideas.
I absolutely love Benefit - their make-up is amazing! I actually received this perfume as a present couple of years ago (Christmas 2010) as I had put it on my Christmas list.
I was over the moon to have got it and couldn't wait to try it - and I wasn't dissapointed! Since then, I've re-purchased several bottles and I wear this on an almost daily basis. This perfume has been out for quite a few years now and the largest 100ml version has been discontinued however 30ml bottles can be found in a few different shops including John Lewis, as well as online from perfume retailers and fashion/beauty websites.
The retail price for 50ml is £19.50 which I think initially seems quite expensive for what looks like a small amount of poduct but it is good value because I only need a couple of sprays of it for strong, long-lasting fragrance. With daily use a 50ml bottle will last for around eight months which is an impressive amount of time in my opinion!! The perfume comes in an elegant but simplistic bottle which is tall and slim with slightly rounded edges.
The clear, sturdy glass is transparent so the pale pink liquid can be seen. The branding is minimalistic but it works well; it's a nice and subtle bottle which I like - I hate over the top, tacky perfume bottles! The black lid is quite an unusual shape and it is easy to remove and put back on. The little trigger part (the part that I press to get the perfume) works well and the perfume comes out in a fine mist. This fragrance is described by Benefit as playful, warm and inviting - that sums it up perfectly!
The top notes are apricot and white ginger, the middle notes are cyclamen, lychee and bergamot and the bottom notes are musk, poppy and peach. The smell is fresh and light and it's one that I always wear during the summer, and when I wear it in winter it reminds me of the summer due to the sweet, floral, playful scent. Although this is quite a sweet and fruity fragrance, it is not overpowering and the hint of musk balances it out nicely and stops it from smelling too 'young'. This also has quite a sensual smell and the warm tones are amazing!
The lasting power for this is okay but it isn't great as it's an eau de toilette, meaning that the fragrance is lighter than a perfume. I'd say that on average this lasts for 3 hours before fading which I think is quite a good amount of time considering I only need 2 sprays each time. Also, the bottle is small and a very handy shape so it can easily fit into my bag for when I need to re-apply it.
Overall, I highly recommend this fragrance - it's versatile, good value and it smells amazing.
I bought this about 4 months ago as I got this for a good price on the website that I usually buy my Perfumes from. I had tried this a good while ago and liked it, so this was my first bottle that I bought myself.
I got this for £26 for the 100ml bottle which I thought was a good price. Not sure if this is available in a smaller size, but as usual usually if you buy this in a bigger bottle then it normally works out the best price.
The bottle looks like the picture. I think it is a nice looking bottle. Not the best and most expensive looking bottle but nice anyway. The glass is clear and you can see the light peach coloured liquid through the glass. There is some writing on the bottle which is nice enough but it is just simple looking.
The scent of this is quite a warm scent. There is some Musky scents in here and Florals as well. I don't tend to go for Floral scents all that much and it is more Fruity that I tend to go for, but this is a nice change. The notes that are in here are White Ginger, Apricot, Lychee, Bergamot, Cyclamen, Himalayan poppy, Warm Peach, White Musk and Fresh water Blossom.
After spraying this the scent smells quite strong but it settles down quite quickly. I think this smells quite Alcohol-y at the start but after a little while this turns into a nice warm scent. I couldn't tell all what the notes that come out are - I don't even know what a couple of the notes smell like, but I think the Poppy stands out a bit with it's slight Aniseed kind of Musky scent, perhaps the White Musk and the peach as well.
This lasts an average lenght of time. It perhaps doesn't last as long as a designer scent, but it does last a good few hours.
A nice scent at a good price and I think this would make a good present as it would look like you possibily spent more money on this than you had.
I discovered BeneFit Maybe Baby when I discovered the brand a few years ago whilst shopping in the Trafford Centre. Not only are the girls who work on the stands very friendly, but love doing make-up sessions too!
BeneFit products are absolute quality for money, and the perfume is fantastic value.
The bottle has writing all the round the top with different kinds of 'Maybe's' which is quite sweet, and it's a lovely shaped bottle.
The fragrance is neither floral or musky, it's more mildly spicy but not too overpowering.....you've never smelled anything quite like it, it's another unique scent.
There are other products that you can use wth the perfume, like shower gels and creams, also a powder which is absolutely gorgeous! You can also buy a handbag sized bottle of Maybe Baby which is called "Baby Maybe Baby" as the bottle is far too big to put in the handbag......unless you carry a suitcase lol
I've had great comments about this as well - and you will too!
This is a unique fragrance from BeneFit called 'Maybe Baby' and It is very distinctive. I love the name !! It's been around since 2003 and is still going! Although I must add that very recently you can only now get the 30ml Eau de Toilette size as the 100ml has stopped being stocked. I think that this is a shame as the 100ml came in a large hourglass style bottle which looks great on a dressing table. The 50ml bottle is a see through, tall, straight bottle. Not as exciting but still nice. The 50ml retails at £19.50. Some counters do still stock the 100ml size bottle as they have not all been sold yet.
When I first sprayed the fragrance I could instantly detect a hint of Apricot. It reminded me of a fragrance Avon used to do called....'Apricot'.
The fragrance lasted on me all day and lots of people noticed what I was wearing too! Apart from the Avon fragrance I used to wear, no other fragrance is like Maybe Baby that I have found.
I later discovered that the fragrance does indeed have Apricot as one of its top notes as well as White Ginger. The middle notes are Cyclamen, Litchi and Bergamot and the base notes are Peach and White Musk.
On the whole, a Floral, Fruity fragrance which is never overpowering. Anybody can wear this fragrance, and I found that you can wear this day or night. I prefer to wear Maybe Baby for the day time as I do like a Parfum for the night and this only comes in Eau de Toilette.
If you particularly like the fragrance of Maybe Baby, you could layer it with Maybe Baby Body Lotion that BeneFit do. It's a soft shimmer body lotion with exactly the same fragrance! Yum!! And that retails at £19.50.
I did recently pass a BeneFit counter and noticed a new range of fragrances called 'Crescent Row' and did wonder if they were replacing Maybe baby. I hope not!! I also tried the new Crescent Row, but none of them are similar to Maybe Baby. Although they are still nice!
I hope BeneFit keep this lovely fragrance. It really is lovely.
This Eau de Toilette is simply delicious. A lot of perfumes can be overpowering, a little too sharp, a little too musky or remind you a little too much of a cheap perfume that you smelled in a bargain shop, leaving you wondering at the expensive price tag! Maybe baby is nothing like any of those, it has a smooth floral fragrance but without being flowery, it's a scent that I could breathe in all day and not feel queasy. The bottle is beautiful and clear, showing off the soft pink colouring of the fragrance. Although the fragrance is definitely strong enough to last, it never seems to be too strong (e.g. if you put more on than usual). It definitely stands out and people do notice as you walk past but can't place the fragrance. To be honest neither can I but I do know that is it gorgeous, subtle but striking, mysterious and shy, like talent that speaks for itself.
I'm loving 'Maybe Baby' by Benefit. Its a great fruity scent that last all day and leaves you feeling fresh and sexy. If you love the scents from the Benefit Bathina range then you will adore this perfume.
Its £29.50 for 100ml which is a good middle of the road price for perfume and it really lasts too as the scent seems to cling very well to the skin. I find it also attracts quite a lot of attention from people, I get quite a few comments about how could it smells and a lot of my friends have subsequently bought it.
Some people find the bottle a little bit big and I admit its too large for your handbag but there is a much neater 50ml option costing £19.50 which is perfect when you are on the go. You can also purchase the body lotion for £19.50 (200ml) which smells exactly the same and leaves your silky smooth and with a sparkling sheen, perfect for a night out.
Yet another fab product from the wonderful team at Benefit.
SO worth waiting for! Having done my internet research myself, many of the public eye recommended Benefit's Maybe Baby perfume.
However, having browsed the internet, it seemed like they have discontinued the product on many online sites or are selling the perfume for ridiculous prices.
I went to a Benefit store and instantly found the perfume. It smells sweetly, not too strong and not too light. It is the right scent fo me. This is now my signature scent.
My friends love the smell as well! I get many questionning on which scent I am wearing. Since it smells so soft and irresistable, it smells like a natural scent and not a perfume! It's good for the day but maybe not evening as it is not that powerful.
You will find yourself spraying if you would like the smell to stay. I bought slim bottle and use it everyday now. I've used about 1/8 of it and it's been a month since I've bought it from the store.
Tip: Spray at pulse points, neck, wrists. When spraying on wrists, do not rub, instead dab the wrists together to keep the scent on for longer.
Scent smells like: Roses, petals and prettiness. Feminine
I recommend this fragrance to you as not many would wear this scent and it's RARE...which is what you are looking for. Trust me. ;)
Part of the bathina range by Benefit, 'Maybe Baby' is a perfume with the trademark smell, and is absolutely divine! At £29.50 for 100ml it's a nice mid-budget perfume, cheaper than alot of others on the market but with real staying power!
**What does it smell like?**
Well I am truly rubbish at describing smells, so other than telling you that it's absolutely gorgeous, floral and feminine I can't be of much help. Thankfully though what I CAN tell you, is that Benefit describe the smell as "Top notes: apricot and ginger; Middle notes: water blossoms, lychee, bergamont; Base notes: white musk and warm peach." Altogether it adds up to a delicious smell, noticeable but not overpowering!
The packaging, true to Benefit form is luxurious looking, a shimmering metallic pale pink box and a simple glass bottle which looks lovely with the pale pink perfume inside. The glass is super thick so I would imagine it's pretty hard to break, a plus side, but it also means the bottle is rather heavy and bulky, not ideal for carrying around in a small handbag.
This is a great everday perfume, its light but noticeable, and as its long lasting you only really need to apply it once to have it linger for hours. It's reasonably priced and the bottle will last ages and ages and ages....I bought mine over a year ago and it's only just beginning to run out! However, you might want something a little more dramatic for evening wear. It's the kind of thing which makes people comment "oh you smell lovely" without necessarily attributing it to a perfume and saying "oh your perfume smells lovely" ....if you get my drift. So maybe people will just think you naturally smell this good... that can never be a bad thing!
I definitely recommend this perfume as it's great for everyday wear and there's nothing to dislike about it. While most perfumes really only suit or appeal to certain people, this is a perfume for everyone!
This perfume is delightful. It really smells delicious, if you like the scent of Benefit's "touch me and try to leave me" cream then you will love this signature scent by them.
It comes packages in a glass bottle which is shaped like an old fashioned perfume bottle, with black swirly writing on it and looks luxurious!
The scent is sensual, romantic and yet is still light. I got mine in a set with the body lotion, which i will review at a later date, and i love layering the scent so i can wear it all day, applying the body lotion then spritzing the perfume.
The smell is quite hard to describe, its marketed as being "like a fall of white blossom" i dont know what that smells like but i know it smells delicious! it has top notes of apricot and white ginger, mid tones of water blossom, lyshee and bergamont, along with base notes of white musk and warm peach - its girly but not heady, light and dreamy...a real romantic scent!
a definate must have for the dressing table. a top recommendation for one of my favourite all time scents.
Benefit Maybe Baby always reminds me of jasmine, even though there is none in it! It is a very fresh light fragrance that is great for everyday wear. The fragrance comes in two different sizes and you can also buy it in a box set with a body lotion of the same fragrance. The smaller bottles are tall and the larger bottle is a rounded shape. Benefit list the ingredients as apricot, peach and fresh water blossoms to name but a few., but as I say to me it smells just like jasmine flowers. It is a very feminine fragrance defiantly one for all you girly girls out there! I do not tend to wear this scent in the winter - for me it is much too light - and it 'gets lost' in all your winter layers, so I would not recommend giving it as a Christmas gift. Do what I did and get it at the airport and wear it on holiday that way whenever you smell it, it will bring back some lovely memories.
