      A lovely perfume!

Today I am going to review the perfume My Place Or Yours Gina by Benefit!

      Shopper's appeal
I bought this pefume about a year ago when I was on the P&O ferry to Dover! On the ferry you can shop for beauty products and that's where I first discovered Benefit. What caught my attention were the beautiful boxes and packagings of the products. They are very feminine and playful without looking cheap and the products are simply very ineresting all over. I've never had a Benefit perfume before and was eager to try them out when they were on display. The Gina one appealed to me the most, si I got it to treat myself!

      The packaging
The perfume comes in an incredibly beautiful box. If you lift the lid, the front part of the box goes down to reveal the bottle. The inside of the box looks like a fancy city appartment and the bottle is standing in the middle. The box is made to look incredibly pretty with lots of playful details. It's so pretty I kept it until now!
On the back of the box there is a little "poem" about the scent.
      "gina lives to seduce
      to tempt & flaunt
      and knows you should always
      get what you want
      so sinfully sexy
      her allure is unjust,
      but as they say...
"all's fair in love & lust.""
The bottle itself is pink and black with many decorative ornaments and a golden cap that is easy to unscrew. It contains 30ml. It worked well and never broke although I took it with me often!

      The scent
The perfume is very easy to apply. The amount of perfume that comes out if you use the bottle is just perfect!
The scent is very fresh and playful at the same time. It's sexy without being too heavy, so it's perfect for pretty much every occasion!
The perfume's top notes consist of pink pepper, bergamot and tangerine, which gives the scent it's dep but fresh scent! The middle notes are peony, wild raspberry and white lily, given it a light flowery feeling! And then there's patchouli, tonka bean and vanilla bean as the bottom note, giving it a heavier, sweet lingering scent.
I am one of those persons who really loves patchouly, but even if you don#t do not worry - it's very, very subtle and doesn't dominate the scent.
The scent stays on your skin for a long while. It really feel like this perfume is a high quality one that you don't have to keep reapplying.
The bottle still isn't empty although I have been using it very often for about a year now, so i'd say it lasts you quite a while!
My skin didn't show any allergic reactions. If you have allergies or have very sensitive skin, check the ingredients before buying!

      The ingredients
Alcohol denat., Fragrance (Parfum), Water (Aqua), Limonene, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, Geraniol, Linalool, Citronellol, Coumarin, Citral, BHT.

      The price
I don't remember exactly what I paid, but I think the perfume was about 20 pounds. I think it's defenitely worth it!
On the Benefit website, the perfume is listed for $36.00.

      Conclusion
This perfume has quickly become one of my favourites. I love it! It smells amazing and the bottle has lasted me for ages now. The beautiful design of the bottle and the box really appealed to me. I defenitely recommend it!

        Advantages

        Disadvantages

Worth the money, and very luxurious

I am completely in love with the Benefit range, and this is yet another product of theirs that I am delighted with :)

        Packaging.
The bottle comes in a beautiful box which is designed to look like a building. The box is mad of sturdy cardboard and is designed very cleverly in a way that you can very easily get the bottle out of it. It is the kind of box that I would gladly have sitting out on my dressing table, unlike other flimsy boxes that I would immediately bin. The 30ml bottle itself is as beautiful as the box, with a luxurious pink, black and gold design, as shown above, and a gold metal lid.

        Product.
The fragrance is a strong flirty and floral smell, perhaps a little too overpowering at first. It smells very gilly and luxurious and I would recommend it to people with a fun personality. It will last you the whole day, and I have often been complimented when I am wearing this that I smell lovely :) You don't have to put much on as it is very strong.

        Price.
Along with the other Benefit products, this is pretty pricey at £30, but not compared to other perfumes, and it is definately worth it. In the sale, it can be bought for £20.

        Where can I buy it?
Boots, Benefit stores, most department stores (Frasers, Debenhams etc)

        Ingredients.
        Alcohol Denat.,
        Fragrance (Parfumerie),
        Water (Aqua),
        Limonene,
        Alpha-Isomethyl,
        Ionone,
        Butylphenyl,
        Methylpropional,
        Geraniol,
        Linalool,
        Citronellol,
        Coumarin,
        Citral,
        BHT.

I would really recommend this perfume, 5 out of 5, and it's worth every penny.
