I received a 2ml sample vial of Beyonce's Pulse perfume from a friend and as a fan of Beyonce musically I was intrigued by this perfume. I am not normally a fan of perfumes with a celeb name stamped all over it and besides the Fergie outspoken from Avon (which I was greatly disappointed with!) I do not actually own any celeb scents.

The Perfume comprises of the following notes:

Top notes: Pear Blossom, Frosted Bergamot. This allows the perfume to come through with a gentle burst of quite a spicy and solid smell which reminds me a lot of a woody scent and mixture musk smell. For me this isn't a horrible smell just something I don't particularly like to smell like as I am more a floral, light and vanilla-ish scent.

Heart notes: Delicate Peony, Midnight Blooming Jasmine, Bluebird Orchid. These combined do leave the perfume much more sweeter and not as harsh as it first comes across and at this point I much more appreciated the smell of this perfume and it grew on me a bit more.

Base notes: Sapphire Wood, Vanilla Infusion, Intoxicating Musk which are warm and gentle and so after a good hour or so once it has seeped into my skin the smell isn't as powerful but a lot more subtle and aromatic to allow the perfume to be vivacious yet not overpowering.

This is is a nice perfume and the name Pulse really does apply, as it is quite a powerful vibe and I think it matches Beyonce's diva personality and her women-who-run-the-world-attitude! It's filled with vibrancy and is definitely for women who know what they want and are strong and people walking by will smell this and run for cover!

A 30ml bottle of the Eau de Parfum can be puchased for £22.99 from the Perfume Shop and as a general is around this price bracket in other retailers. I do like the scent, but for my own personal preference I don't see it suiting my aura and personality so won't be looking to buy it but nevertheless it does smell nice and so I would recommend to others to give it a try.
