Advantages: the price is the biggest advantage

Disadvantages: the scent doesnt last that long

Don't ask me why I began buying Britney's perfumes but I did my favourite being Fantasy (the stunningly gemmed hot pink bottle) but now and then I do buy Britney Curious.

Britneys perfumes are actually a trademark licensed to Elizabeth Arden. I have not tried any of Elizabeth Ardens products/fragrances but I had heard nothing but good about them from friends so when I first purchased Curious I had quite high hopes.

The bottle comes neatly packaged in a large cubed dark box with colourful blue and pink circles and swirls scattered around it. The bottle itself is an elegant design - a perfect ladies bottle, it would look a treat sitting on a womans dressing table. It is a beautiful ocean blue, the bottle being transparent though so you can see the liquid inside .. which is often useful as more often than not with some perfume bottles it's difficult to tell when you are reaching the end of your fragrance and it is rather annoying when you go to have a spray and just smidgens drop onto you. Around the top there is a small chain with two pretty in pink hearts dangling which just tops the overall look of it off. With the larger bottles I have bought I have found they have the attached a "puffer" with tassles on to squeeze the spray onto you, this seems to glamourize the bottle a tad more.

The perfume itself is a fresh and light scent, I find it young and refreshingly floral, a real uplifter and not too strong, so for a woman like myself it makes me feel younger spoiling me with a soft, sweet scent which unfortunately I don't think lasts all that long. For me personally it's a day time perfume just because I don't find the strength of the scent on you lasts much longer than an hour or two and it is not that powerful to begin with.

The price of this perfume is fantastic. You can often buy it in giftsets and I would say this would probably make a brilliant gift as it's the type of fragrance you can't go wrong with .. it's not too heavy and not too light either it's just in the middle and more often than not people like it .. just make sure the recipient likes Britney first though as this can be a real offputter. I usually buy a 100ml bottle being the largest I've seen, in Savers for just under £15 which I think is brill considering some fragrances you'd pay more than this for a bottle less than half this size. I would say it's worth a try to anybody who asks, for this price you will like with any other perfume either love it or hate it but if you love it it's a bargain perfume and leaves you smelling stunning.

Summary: i would say it is worth the money
