Advantages: It's much nicer than you'd think

Disadvantages: Vanilla

Curious EDP 30ml and 100 ml both currently on sale at The Perfume Shop on-line for £19.99

This was originally bought for me as a gift, by a well meaning boyfriend. I think that the unidentified flying object reminiscent shape of the bottle may have drawn him to it, as well as the turquoise blue colour of the bottle with the lovely little pink charms that dangle from around the neck. In his defence these are my favourite colours.

The contents of the bottle are actually much nicer than I thought they would be. I could identify the scents of vanilla, and a musky undertone with some floral notes. according to The Perfume Shop on-line the scent has:

Vanilla-Infused Musk - Heart notes

Louisiana Magnolia, Golden Anjou Pear, Dewy Lotus Flower - Top notes and

Rich Sandalwood, Blonde Woods - Base notes.

For me the most evident scents were those of the vanilla, and the sandalwood which is why it will never be my favourite as these scents just do not suit me.

It was a fairly light fragrance, but I prefer the smell of fruity perfumes to those with vanilla accents in them as I find them to be a little sickly. Having said it wasn't my cup of tea, my house mate loved it, and it suited her beautifully, and on her the scent seemed to last well through the day. It really is a fragrance that smells differently on different people, and as such it is well worth a spritz if the scent appeals, as it does smell wonderful on a lot of people.

Summary: It's really worth a sniff.
