As a huge fan of Britney Spears, and some of her other perfumes, when I received this as a Christmas gift i was overjoyed. The bottle itself looks a little girlish, as in for a young girl who wants her very first perfume, so it may not visually appeal to you at first, but it will grow on you. The smell itself is lovely, not fruity or flowery, actually quite unique which is why I enjoy this perfume. You don't need to spray an excessive amount to get the right intensity of smell you want, but the smell does tend to smell better a little while after the initial spray. The only problem, other than the packaging, is that the spray doesn't last that long, after just over an hour the smell has faded quite a bit, and barely there so if you are looking for a perfume that you won't need to top up throughout the day - this isn't the one. If you have hay fever I also wouldn't suggest this, my mother and sister are prone to hay fever attacks and whenever I wear this perfume it seems to set it off.
I had birthday money left and was looking 'round for a nice perfume. After spotting Britney Spears 'Radiance' EDP and 'Cosmic Radiance' EDP selling at only £10 each in TK Maxx for a large 100ml bottle I bought them both. I'm not a Britney fan by any means but my daughter has had a few different perfumes of her's that where nice so I just grabbed them. The RRP is £38 on the label and I'm certainly glad I didn't pay that. The boxes where sealed so I couldn't see the bottle or smell them first, if I had I wouldn't have bought them. Radiance comes in a nice silver box with mainly pink and blue gem stones around the edge. The writing just says 'radiance Britney Spears' on the front with a very chemical sounding ingredients list on the back. I could see no indication of how the perfume may smell, I just took a chance. The bottle is horrid, a chunky glass rectangle with glass gem stones all over it. I feel this makes the perfume quite awkward to hold. The lid is a fake glass gemstone housing a good sized silver spray nozzle. It's slightly less horrible than it's sister 'Cosmic Radiance' which is the same but themed in black. I've no clue about notes so looked them up online, these are them apparently: Heart notes Tuberose, Jasmine, Orange Flower, Iris Top notes Wild Berries, Dewy Petals Base notes Cashmere Woods, Luminous Amber, Musk Scent Floral Fruity Feel Alluring, Sensual, Captivating Being disappointed by Cosmic Radiance I hoped Radiance would be better. On first application I'm blasted with a very alcoholic smell, followed immediately by a strong floral- they smelt the same but maybe this one isn't as strong. I'm not really sure why they're so similar as the 'notes' are very different. This perfume hasn't got Gardenia at it's heart like Cosmic which was it's over riding scent for me. After a few minutes though the difference is fortunately clear, Radiance settles into a more fruity scent which I much prefer to floral. I can't pick out any of the above notes. All I can smell is a powdery peach hand cream smell- which isn't even on the list. I can't smell oranges, berries or any woody scents but I can faintly pick up petals and musk as it wears on. It's not unpleasant and has a rather nice light fruity fragrance. This is definitely 'young' and would be more suited to my daughter (who will be having them both by the way). After the initial strong scent I thought it would have good staying power but no I can hardly smell it on me now after a couple of hours, I don't think it's because I'm used to it either- I've given my self a good sniff and there is definitely hardly any scent left. Strangely though after I've worn it I can still smell it on my coat the next day- maybe it's down to the material, I dunno. I put this on about 2 hours ago for this review and it's almost gone, it's more like a body spray than a perfume. I wouldn't bother with it only 3 stars from me as even though it's pleasant enough the longevity is poor- on me anyway.
I have to premise this review by saying I'm neither a Britney fan or hater. I own a few of her perfumes purely because I have found them cheaply in a discount store and needing a regular everyday scent thought they would prove good value for money. This was probably the least appealing one to me because the bottle is frankly hideous. It comes in a tall, thin glass bottle embellished by what looks like pink and blue gem stones. There is also a blue plastic gem style lid and a silver pump. I can see that this bottle might appeal to teen girls, presumably the target audience, but I think it is really ugly and naff looking. So the real reason I bought this was that it was on sale for £6 and I thought this was an absolute bargain, irrespective of whether the smell was any good or not. If it wasn't then I thought I could regift it to someone! The perfume itself has top notes of red berries. I do love fruity scents and I like that this is a mix of red berries, which has a sweet and yet slightly sharp smell to them. I find this layer really fresh and clean smelling and like that the berries give a sweetness which is warming and yet not insipid. The heart notes are iris, jasmine, orange flower and tuberose. I love these heavy floral type scents and find this layer just delicious. It has a really heavy powdery aspect which you get with very floral scents but at the same time it has a real lightness and elegance which I associate with timeless scents. This mixes well with the red berries to add a slight sharpness to this and add more interest. The base notes are musk, cashmere wood and amber which combine beautifully to produce this deep woody scent with feel very natural and earthy. I love this musky layer of the perfumes, it deepens the scent and gives it a slight sensuality which makes it a more adult, feminine and sexy scent. Overall though the dominating sense you get from this perfume is that it is a light, fresh floral scent with a fruity hint and a musky base. I love floral fragrances so this is my ideal kind of perfume. The scent isn't overly strong which is nice but this does mean it will only last a few hours before dissipating. Considering I hate the bottle so much the perfume really much be something nice because I've continued to use this fragrance. I really like the perfume and find it soft enough for a daytime scent. Overall, this is a lovely daytime scent which is only hampered by the naff bottle.
Britney's RADIANCE I would NEVER EVER go and buy a perfume with Britney's name on it because of her 'star' staus and in fact when I have tried them in shops and duty frees at the airport I have been distinctly underwhelmed by them. This was yet another mini spray sample I have been sent and I have had it in my purse for some time so thought before I threw it out I better review it. I have used this as I always take these mini sample vials and sprays away on holiday with me. It is a great way to test perfumes and see whether they suit you and then throw away the sample bottle and you have nothing to carry home with you. They also seem to be undetected in the airport security so I find I can slip a couple in my bag for freshening up while flying as I do hate arriving jaded and smelling of plane so a quick wipe with a wet wipe cloth and spray of a mini perfume does wonders for making me feel a bit more human. Apparently this is the star's ninth perfume though how much she actually has to do with its creation is not something I know but would imagine it is not very much. The fragrance was in fact created under the umbrella of the Elizabeth Arden brand so doubtless their perfumiers had a hand it the blending.. THE PACKAGING Mine came in a small spray with a picture of the bottle on a plastic flap. It looks pretty tacky in my view. A sort of chunky rectangular bottle with big 'jewels' or chunky blue and pink rhinestones on the outside, it looks as though the jewels have been stuck onto the glass. The lid is a largish clear diamond cut plastic knob. It comes in a rectangular silver box with jewel shapes in pink and blue forming a border on it. THE PRICE I see that you can buy this in Boots for £22 for the 30ml eau de parfum, £28 for the 50ml which is pretty reasonable I suppose if you like it, the gift set is £30 for 50ml eau de parfum and a body soufflé also 50ml. I am sure there are cheaper places to buy this is you look around on line or try If EBay I'm sure someone will be selling it there. I have found it on Amazon and other internet sites for really decent prices so do look around if you fancy buying this. NOTES AND SCENT This is a very young light feminine blend of red berries, delicate flower petals and soft musk. Also in this eau de toilette blend you will find notes of berries, tuberose, jasmine, orange blossom, iris and musk. The perfume does remind me again of Lacoste Touch of pink and that ilk. It is sweet and light and floral with the hint of berries. Initially when I first sprayed it on I sneezed for about five minutes so something in there had a powerful allergic reaction for me. I think it is the not so natural alcohol scents that make me sneeze but once that calms down a bit I am able to enjoy a very fruity floral aroma which does then mature into a more tuberose , gentle subtle floral sweet scent. This is a warmer smell than the initial berries and orangey scent. I prefer it once the tuberose and iris come through as this is a calmer, warmer floral aroma. It reminds me a bit of like sparkling white grape champagne to me after the first flush of alcohol has dried down. To describe it in poetic terms it is a bit like walking through a garden of fresh flowers of tuberose, jasmine, and drinking a glass of sparkling grapes juice. It is sugary sweet and fruity with hints of white flowers , rose and a light freshness. I found that this lasted quite a while on me at the sweet and musky stage and four hours later I can still smell it. It also lasted on my clothes as my sleeve of my jumper smelled of this the next morning. The sillage is not stunning as either nobody likes it or it has not been noticed while I am wearing it. Certainly no one has ever commented on my scent while wearing this where as they often do when I wear other smells. SO WHAT DO I THINK? I do quite like it but it is one I would think would suit a younger audience as it is very sweet and light. If I was choosing a perfume for a teen this might be one I would think of. I would happily wear it during the day or use it as I do on holiday with my other samples. I used most of this when we were away in the USA recently and I found it in my purse again the other day almost finished. I personally would not go out and buy a celebrity perfume unless it was particularly bargainous. This is NOT a sophisticated scent in any way, it comes under the sweet, young fun category of smells I would say. I don't think anyone would ever describe this as a classy perfume but then Britney is not really a classy sort of star. She is young and bubbly and I think that this is the market this one is aimed towards. It is far from offensive and if you like sweet florals like 'Touch of Pink ',' Couture Couture' or 'Fame' then this is similar but sweeter , fresh and light and may appeal to you. I will not be rushing to buy the full sized version but I also didn't find this unpleasant. One that will appeal to people who like light fresh floral with a lot of sugary sweetness. Thanks for reading. This review may be posted on other sites under my same username. ©Catsholiday
Radiance is a perfume by American Pop Star Britney Spears. The perfume was released in the United Kingdom in Whilst the bottle is quite unique, I don't really like it. It consists of a square bottle (it's a bit mirror-like with gems stuck on it). I think it looks a bit cheap and nasty and so when I received this perfume as a gift, I was hoping that the 'quality' of the bottle wouldn't reflect the perfume!! The perfume is available in the following bottles: 30ml (£12.95, Amazon) 50ml (£29.99, Amazon) 100ml (£21.76, Amazon) Top notes: Wild Berries, Dewy Petals, Entice and Beguile Middle notes: Tuberose, Jasmine, Orange Flower and Irish Bottom notes: Cashmere Woods, Amber and Musk First of all, whilst I have never heard of a lot of these 'notes' (Beguile, Cashmere Woods, Entice etc), all I can say is that they are doing a great job as they result in a lovely scent! When I first spray the perfume, I can smell berries. I am not sure what berries exactly, although it seems to be a mixture of them. It's quite fruity and sweet, but not so sweet that it becomes sickly. It's quite subtle. I love how fresh and clean this scent is. It's very sexy and feminine, whilst at the same time being quite young and girlie. Once the 'fruity-ness' has passed, the musk comes out. I can also smell a vanilla scent too, even though vanilla isn't listed as being an ingredient...unless its and ingredient which I think smells like vanilla. This scent is very likeable - it isn't like one of those perfumes which you either love or hate. It's not too in your face and so I think that it is great for every day. The amount of people (even strangers) who have commented on how they love my perfume. The perfume has good staying power. I can put it on in the morning and whilst it does fade a bit (like all perfumes do), I can still smell it on my clothes when I come home. So for that reason I would say that this perfume is excellent value for money. It's very affordable plus the fact that a bottle lasts a few months. The scent has quite a young feel to it and so I would say that it is suitable for teenagers and people in their twenties. It's a great everyday perfume too. Although it does smell quite summery as it's so light, I do think that it is suitable to wear all year around. All in all, whilst it is not my favourite Britney perfume, I do like this one and so would recommend it! Thanks for reading! October 2012 Xdonzx / xd-o-n-z-x
I have this perfume sitting on my shelf right now, and i absolutely love it!! The initial smell is a very summery smell like berries, but as time goes on it changes into a orangey smell, which some people say they find quite attractive. It seriously is an amazing smell which lasts all day, and just as you get used to one smell, it changes so you wont need to keep spraying yourself, it wont fade :) Not only is it a lovely smell, but the bottle is gorgeous which looks great sitting on your bedroom dressing table or shelves etc. Another bonus about the bottle is its strength, if you put it in your handbag you don't have to worry about it breaking because trust me it's strong enough not to! Definitely worth the money and has lasted me months and it's not even empty yet! :D I used to wear this to college and always got complimented on how good I smelt, which obviously makes you feel good and boosts your confidence for the rest of the day! :D Some people say celebrity perfumes can be cheap and 'tacky' but this is not the case! I admit some can be rather disgusting and will only last for maybe not even an hour, but i am more than satisfied with this product and will be buying it again once empty! This is a type of perfume that can automatically change your mood as soon as you spray it, you could be feeling down and once you're wearing it you're all happy and bubbly again just because you know you smell good :) Really recommend buying! i paid just about £40 for a 100ml bottle at 'the perfume shop' but you can get it cheaper on online websites but i was in too much of a hurry to buy it to wait :) Hope this helps! :D
I must admit, I am not Britney Spears' biggest fan. In fact, the idea of wearing something she designed herself doesn't leave me with many positive thoughts! I find her bottle designs quite tacky and thus, I have never been interested in sampling the perfume inside. I received her 'Radiance' perfume as a gift on my last birthday and here's my thoroughly honest review! == Packaging and Bottle Design == The bottle comes in a simple rectangular box. It is mirror like in appearance with pictures of the jewels (featured on the bottle) on the outside. I think it fits with the style of the bottle, but it wouldn't stand out on the shelf. Compared to the other packaging styles in her series, this one is pretty dull in appearance. The bottle itself is thick glass, which means it is quite heavy and not something you want to carry around in your handbag. I would imagine it would cause a huge mess should you drop it! The colour is mainly tints of blue and pink, and it is designed to look like it is jewel encrusted. Personally, this makes it look really cheap and as I mentioned in my introduction, quite tacky! It is not something you want standing next to your Chanel no. 5! == The Scent == The scent is exactly what I would expect from a Britney perfume. I was quite surprised by how much I liked the scent, when the bottle it came in was so awful. The scent is very feminine and floral, and extremely sweet when you first spray it, but it mellows over time. I would not recommend this to someone who likes their perfume a bit edgy! According to the producers, the top notes (the ones you smell instantly) are wild berries and dewy petals. I would agree that you can smell the floral scents of the petals and the sweet addition of the berries give it a summer feel. I would use the perfume during the day. It would not be wrong to use it at night but the scent just doesn't feel right. The heart notes (the ones that come after the initial top notes) are tuberose, jasmine, orange flower and iris. My friends that have tried my perfume say it can feel overpowering at first, and I guess that is because there is so many floral scents packed into it. Other scents include cashmere woods, luminous amber and musk. They are not particularly easy to smell among the other ingredients and therefore wasted in my opinion. You only need to spray the perfume a couple of times to get a lasting scent. I usually top up during the day, but never need to with this one, which is a great benefit. The bottle is quite large as well, so the liquid lasts forever! == Price == The perfume came out last year so it is still a relatively new perfume. However, everyone seems to only remember her 'Fantasy' and 'Curious' perfumes. I guess that says something about its popularity! The perfume comes in 30ml, 50ml and 100ml sizes, and gift sets featuring miniature versions of her range are also available. Here's a quick guide to prices (taken from the perfume shop): 30ml - £22.50 50ml - £28.50 100ml - £37.50 I don't think it offers great value for money if I'm honest. £22 for a small bottle of perfume is quite steep. Especially for someone young that may look up to Britney Spears and want to buy her merchandise. == Conclusion === I wouldn't recommend this perfume. The actual scent is quite nice, but the bottle is pretty tragic, and not something I would have bought for myself. I think you can find a much better perfume for the same price, for instance, Jennifer Lopez' 'Glow' range starts at a mere £14. If you like a strong, sweet and floral perfume then this would be perfect, but otherwise I would stay clear. [Review may also appear on Ciao under the username Strawberry_123]
I would normally avoid celebrity perfume like the plague as they have always struck me as cheap and just a way of making money (who would want to buy a perfume from a ex big brother housemate!). But after I received this perfume from my work colleagues as a birthday present I was exceptionally and pleasantly surprised! The bottle is trendy, modern and stylish - and very thick and sturdy glass which is an excellent property for perfume as it is tossed around in handbags and drawers regularly. The actual scent is fruity and sweet. There is a definite hint of berries and jasmine and other wild flowers in there which gives it a bit of a musky undertone. The fragrance is strong but delicate at the same time, it is not over powering. The fragrance lasts for ages - I spray it in a morning and I get whiffs of it throughout the whole day. When I wear it I get compliments from people and people always ask me what I am wearing. I do not get comments about many of the other perfumes I wear. Since receiving this perfume as a gift I have purchased another bottle as i just use it too quickly ha! The price of the perfume is very reasonable (depending on where you buy it from) I paid £26 for a a50ml bottle, but you can get it cheaper from online stores. I would definitely recommend this perfume and i will be definitely trying other perfumes from Britney Spears range.
I would not normally pick one of Brtiney Spears perfumes up and test them if I were looking in a store, as I tent not to but celeb perfumes. But when I got a sample through for this perfume I was pleasently suprised. It has a really nice sweet smell to it and lasts longer than most perfumes. The design of the perfume bottle itself is sylish and looks quite elegant. The price of this perfume is at a really good price and is cheaper than a few other perfumes. For £35 a bottle, the perfume should last you at least 4,5 maybe even six months. (You could proberly pick the perfume up cheaper than this if you shopped around!.) The perfume really should properly be worth more than this as it is such a nice smell. I would definately reccommend this perfume to anyone and I would definately consider buying it again.
This is one of those fragrances that can put you in a certain mood. In my case it is spending the night dancing with my girlfriends! It has a real fun-loving characteristic that just inspires you to put on your dancing shoes and enjoy being female. Not a fan of 'cheap' celebrtiy perfumes in general, however, this one it definitely up there with the more impressive selection. (perhaps unsurprising when you consider that it is endorsed by Elizabeth Arden) If you, like me would not usually go near one of these, then I truly reccommend that you at least have a sniff next time you happen to be in a perfumerie...it is likely that you could find yourself pleasantly surprised. Right...down to the technicalities... this in general is a light air fragrance with a hint of summer fruit...however, this is underlayed with a deeper muskier scent of jasmine and iris which lends a certain sophistication to an otherwise light and airy fragrance. In terms of staying power..it's not too bad, people were still commenting on it about four hours after first application, although i could no longer smell it myself. The bottle itself looks a bit cheap and tacky in my opinion, it is supposed to look jewel encrusted, but if fact looks plastic! So for that reason i keep it hidden away. But i guess that is down to personal preference. The perfect scent for a fun night with the girls, perhaps not suited to a first date or restaurant!
I'm not a fan of Britney Spears at all but I must say she has the best perfume range amongst all them celebrities. I loved her Curious and Fantasy ranges (which I still have bottles off) but the Radiance Eau de Parfum tops them all. I especially love the fruity smell and the scent is a lot stronger than the previous ranges. The thing I love most about her ranges is that they last long and you just need a small spray and you have a fresh smell all day. In fact the perfume lasts on your clothes and body for almost three days even after you've showered three times a day! It also has the plus factor that one 100ml bottle can last up to four months. I bought the 100ml in September and I'm still using the same bottle. Of course the multicolour glass bottle design also makes it an attraction. I feel like a superstar and whatever magic touches she puts in these fragrances really does work because people now get to smell me before they see me and I get happy faces all round! With curious it had this sweet smell, with fantasy it had more of an attraction smell but Eau de Parfum is more of a seductive smell. Wear this perfume on a date and well lets just say he won't stop sniffing you!!
When I unwrapped a bottle of Britney Spears Radiance eau de parfum at Christmas, bought for my by an aunt, I had no idea what to expect. It's something that I would never have picked up in a perfume shop to test, it's just not really my style to be honest. For the sake of politeness, however, I told her I loved it, and as it turned out, it wasn't half as bad as I thought it would be, it's actually quite nice at times! My 30ml bottle looks just like the one in the picture, being made of glass with raised gem like shapes covering it in blue, pink and clear colours. The bottle is not to my taste at all, which I why I wouldn't have chosen it at all. It's very, very girly and I think would suit a younger market (teens and early 20s at a push). When first sprayed, the fragrance is very strong and tickly on the nose, and it takes a good few minutes for it to calm down so you can actually smell it properly. The main scent when the fragrance settles is fruity, and to my nose smells like a mix of oranges and berries, maybe redcurrants, it's hard to tell and I can't find any information on the official notes. Either way, it's a nice enough start to a fragrance, if a bit generic. After around 5 more minutes, the scent becomes more floral, and I can smell hints of rose and jasmine in the mix. This is a fairly nice blend, as I like jasmine, but there are some other floral smells in there that are hard to pick out and just smell generically floral. Around an hour after first spraying the scent on, Radiance becomes muskier and has quite a soft base to it. Radiance doesn't last long overall on my skin though. Everyone is different, but for me, this fragrance is impossible to smell on my skin after 3 hours, which for the price isn't brilliant, I'd expect it to last much longer. The perfume is nice enough in a fruity floral kind of way, but isn't strong enough for evening wear I think. It's best suited to casual daytime use. In terms of price, my 30ml bottle would have cost just over £20 if I'd have had to buy it myself. This isn't too bad, but there are much nicer fragrances available at a similar price for the same small amount. Overall, this is a decent perfume, but not one that I would go out and buy for myself.
Okay, this bottle looks cheap. It is. I heard that this scent was exclusive to Boots stores but it can also be bought on "popular" auction sites. The scent is basically another fruity floral from Britney, with hints of musk and summer florals. The bottle itself is hard to grasp, quite uncomfortable to grasp actually. The scent sprays well and smells lovely and refreshing when you first spray it. The soft floral notes make an appearance first, the musk comes in later once the scent has had time to settle. The staying power is about average, although this spray is really good at masking odour. I sometimes to spray it over my clothing to take away the stink of fags and pets! The scent is a bubblegum scent, i.e it's perhaps best suited to the younger generation. It IS a nice scent, it's just that I think I prefer her previous scents like "Fantasy" and "Curious". This isn't a bad effort though and worth buying if you like celebrity perfumes. It's a nice summer scent and ideal for use during the day as it isn't very heavy. I would recommend this scent to people who like lighter and more refreshing scents. You can buy Radiance in Boots stores (and online) for around £20. It is also available as a gift set.
Britney Spears radiance is Britneys latest perfume to be released I first became aware of it in Duty Free on the way to Gran Canaria when me and my sister we admiring the bottle and also the free bag which came with it. My sister decided to treat herself to it whilst I was saving my money for the trip anyway I was happy to find on Christms Day that my boyfriend had taken it upon himself to go and buy me a bottle bless him he said he looked for one with a bag or gift set but sadly this was not meant to be however I was just happy with the perfume and the fact he remebered I liked it. I have the 30ml bottle which comes in metalic cardboard box as you can see from the picture the box is decorated around the edges with pictures of various jewels very nice. Opening the box you find the glass bottle which has a blue lid that tyou can see through the bottle itself is decorated with raised glass in the shape of gems in pink, blue and clear I think that it makes the bottle stand out I quite like to collect perfume bottles and this one is an interesting design. The perfume itself is activated with a spray as most perfumes are and on first puff it is quite overpowering it always triggers 3 sneezes from me. Once the perfume has been sprayed though it settles down in around 5 minutes. I go for a couple of sprays on my wrists and neck it soon settles down the initial smell to me is very fruity. I am not one for being able to describe what all the notes are and I don't truely understand what it means on others reviews so what I will do is tell you what the thefragranceshop.co.uk have to say in regards to notes which I hope will help those of you who know abit more about them. The fragrance shop describes Britneys new perfume as 'a feminine blend of red berries, delicate flower petals and soft musk' the website also adds that 'the composition includes notes of berries, tuberose, jasmine, orange blossom, iris and musk' I would say that the berries are definatley what is adding to the fruity fragrance which I can smell I can also smell the jasmine the fragrance is not very powerful once the initial burst has died down so I would not say it is one for a night out unless you take it with you for a middle of the night top up. It is not one of those fragrances which is going to attract people to it to ask what you wearing it is more of a suitale fragrance. It is a nice day fragrance which I think is quite summery to wear by they the afternoon though the fragrance is wearing away so again its one to carry with you. If you fancy giving the fragrance a try I found this website where you can get free sample to try for yourself so you cn make your own mind up about it I always find that perfumes react differently on different people and I like way that this one reacts with my skin. The website address is: http://www.britneyspearsbeauty.co.uk/sample/sample.php I give this perfume 4 stars it looses one for not lasting the day but thats not a huge problem anyway for me. A 30ml bottle will cost you around £22 whilst a bigger 50ml will cost you aroud £27.50.
The first thing that attracted me to Britney Spears' latest perfume, Radiance, is the gorgeous bottle. It comprises a clear glass bottle adorned with turquoise, clear and pink glass 'jewels', with a large turquoise jewel lid. I am a bit of a magpie, and love all things sparkly and glittery so it's certainly something I'd love to keep on my bathroom shelf. It has to be said, that the promo materials are a bit of a 'Fantasy' (to quote one of Brit's earlier perfume releases), in that the normal-looking mother of two is thin, toned, dewy and positively plastic in the ads. I understand there's a bit of photoshopping in all ads these days but it's so blatant it actually takes away from the bottle! We know you're normal, Brit, no-one wants the perfume to make them look like a barbie doll. The scent is £28 for 50ml from Boots, and is more or less the same everywhere you go on the high street (you can also get gift sets for around £35 - £39 with a body lotion and handbag dispenser). Anyway, once out of the box I was pleased to find that the spray dispenser gives a good even spray of scent and doesn't drip (as some cheaper scents can). The scent is nice, floral, with a slight hint of musk but not too deep, a very fresh and dare I say young scent, very suitable for teenagers. One slightly disappointing aspect is it's longevity - it won't last 8 hrs in the office, or a night out - it's quite strong when first sprayed but the scent has no staying power really, even if you go a bit overboard and spray your pulse points, hair, clothes etc. I'd give it an extra star if it lasted longer. It's certainly not as long lasting as her previous perfumes or similar floral-musk perfumes. So overall it's a 3/5 for me - lovely bottle, lovely fragrance, but don't expect any comments on it once you're out and about because chances are it will have gone. For that reason, I wouldn't buy this as a gift.
