'Burberry Summer for Men' is another beautifully scented fragrance on the market solely for the male audience. It is an Eau de toilette which came out last year (2011) and seemed to remain in the background of media coverage, despite the brand being of such an influence to the industry - having begun in the mid-1920s. I think this product glimmers quality and interest, but in a subtle way, in an every-day working man way. The colour schemes for example are pretty bland and largely usual, however they are jazzed up with interesting patterns and the use of shading across the exterior.
The aesthetics of the bottle/container I find pleasing. The glass section containing the liquid perfume is a curved rectangular shape made from coloured material examining the white to blue colour spectrum in an interesting light. I don't really understand why it is Burberry, because it isn't Burberry...
the box is classy and the text inscripted on the glass and scribed on the packaging adds to the products looks as a sort of low-key notion. Safety information and other bits and bobs are located on the bottom of the product.
The smell (the most important product quality) should possibly mimic the products looks - or at least that's what you would expect. It only does this to a degree, the dominant descriptive you gain from the smell is MINT. A herby, minty, tangy warmth of a fragrance - one which you feel you can almost taste more than smell. It lasts an average amount of time upon your person which is a disadvantage, but like all perfumes it will last the duration of a night out.
The product has been a satisfactory purchase and I still have over half the bottle left to enjoy - it does seem to have a healthy longevity, which is handy if you don't get bored of the smell. I like to chop and change what I where, and that's why I have a range of fragrances on the go at any one time. Overall, I'd have to give this a 3 star rating.
