“ Brand: Burberry / Type: Fragrance / Concentration: Eau de Parfum / Gender: for women „
It was my birthday in May and my friend, knowing my love of all things pink and floral perfume, bought me a bottle of Burberry Tender Touch. It fits the bill on both counts. Burberry Tender Touch is sold in a tartan box as with all the Burberry fragrances. The box is a very pretty pink/purple tartan and has Burberry Tender Touch written on the front
The bottle is pale pink colour in colour and is round. It tapers in slightly at the top. The front of the bottle has the name Burberry Tender Touch written across it. All the packaging is feminine and quite cute, very girly indeed.
Tender Touch has the following notes:-
Top:--- Orange, Rose, Tangerine, Violet and Lychee
Middle:--- Jasmine, False Jasmine, Peach, Freesia and Peony
Base:--- Orris, Sandalwood, Amber and Musk.
You can tell from these notes that Tender Touch is going to be floral and that is exactly what it is although for some this may be a bit too flowery.
When I sprayed the perfume I must admit I was slightly disappointed with the chemical smell of the perfume but within seconds this had faded and the sweet floral scents of rose and violet started to emerge, these were slightly tamed down with a burst of citrus, fresh and light. I was definitely liking the perfume.
As the top notes faded I could smell the jasmine coming through, I love jasmine and this was strong and heady, definitely the dominate element. I could detect a slight fruity hint which I must assume was the peach. I cant say I could actually pick out the freesia or the peony.
Once the base notes have developed the perfume is quite a strong, warm, very floral fragrance with jasmine remaining the main element of Tender Touch. I've worn this perfume a lot, I really like it, and I've found it to be very long lasing easily going through the day and evening. In my opinion this would suit any age except maybe a young teenager but that is just my opinion. I find it quite versatile too. I would happily wear this for work or just a day out but also I think it makes a great perfume for a night out. I've had lots of nice compliments about it too. I have tried a few of Burberrys perfumes and this one really is different to all the others.
I would say Tender Touch is an ecomical perfume especially if you have bought it from an on line site, as I mentioned Ive worn mine a lot and the perfume isnt going down in the bottle very much at all. As it's quite a strong smell I find a couple of squirts is all I need to last all day.
I would definitely recommend this perfume. Its warm, heady and floral and suits any occasion and most age groups. Tender Touch was bought for me as a gift but I have looked on line and its available in a 30ml Eau De Parfum spray from www.theperfumesuperstore.co.uk for £15.99 and www.cheap-perfume.co.uk where the same size bottle costs £12.49 so it is worth shopping around as the recommend retail price for this is approximately £30.00.
If you like floral fragrances then I recommend giving Burberry Tender Touch a try.
<3 Tender Touch <3
I was given this as a present by my auntie so I am not sure how much she payed for it in stores.
After looking around online I can tell you that the prices are usually around £10.00/£40.00 depending on what size you decide to get.
I am sure there are 3 sizes available, 30ml, 50ml and 100ml.
Burberry Tender Touch comes in a round curved bottle which has light coloured pink glass in which you can see the perfume.
There is also a glass lid which matches the rest of the bottle.
On the front of the bottle is the Burberry logo, the product name and how many ml you have got with your perfume
The box which it comes in is purple and stripy which tells us straight away as it is Burberry because most of us when seeing this certain patterned design will know that most of Burberrys products use that pattern.
Well to use is very simple, take of the lid and spray! The spray comes out easily I have to say and I had the 30ml bottle which I did find a bit uncomfortable in my hand whilst spraying, I don't know why I found it to be like this as I have tried a lot of perfumes with similar shaped bottles.
This fragrance is meant to be a very strong but not overpowering floral feminine smell with a blend of green tangerine and a few violet leaves, it also contains rose oil, lychee, peach and more florals warmed with a soothing scent of musk, iris, sandalwood and ambrette seed.
At first spray the smell is very strong and over powering, I could definitely smell the rose oil and this came across with a waft of musk which wasn't that pleasing if I am honest, but a few minutes the later the smell had calmed down and the smell was a lot more sensible!
I could now smell a very floral fragrance with a hint of musk, it wasn't that nice but was certainly better than what was there at first! I didn't find it to be that feminine if I'm honest, maybe a bit old lady!
After a few hours on the smell wears down a lot and I notice the smell gets very musky and you must keep applying throughout the day if you would like to keep smelling floral.
I really don't think this was the perfume for me but some of my family loved it and always complimented me on it which was strange seeing as all I could smell was musk! I think it really depends on how you like your perfume so this is why you should ALWAYS test before hand!
I only really used this a few times whilst going out, mostly it was just used during days in the house as it kind of perked up mood a little bit!
Overall, I wouldn't buy this again and I wouldn't recommend it but I know some people would love this perfume!
ABIT ABOUT BURBERRY
Burberry first started when Thomas Burberry, then 21 opened a small outfitters shop in Basingstoke, England in 1856. To start with they were just clothes designers, then they started releasing more items like perfume.
ABOUT BURBERRY TENDER TOUCH
Tender Touch is an intensely floral, feminine blend of green tangerine and violet leaves, rose oil, lychee, peach, and lush florals warmed with the soothing scent of musk, iris, sandalwood, and ambrette seed. The smell of this perfume is just so refreshing and pretty sweet.
Tender touch is an Eau De Parfume, which in case you did not know lasts alot longer that Eau De Toilette. So you are not forever spraying to keep the smell of the perfume on you. A few sprays normally last me for the night.
The bottle i purchased is 100mls and has a 80% alcohol volume. The perfume was made at 4, Rd Pt Champs Elysees, France.
I purchased my 100ml bottle off the internet site and got it for an amazing £24.99, although the recommended retail price is £45.
THE BOTTLE AND PACKAGING
The bottle is pink see through glass with a matching lid. With simple writing on the front, just the name of the perfume. underneath the bottom it tells you how many mls the bottle is, alcohol volume and where the perfume was made.
The box is slightly darker, still pink but with a hint of lilac, still the box has only small details on.
MY PERSONAL THOUGHTS
I love to buy perfume and have bought so many different ones in the past. I must say though this is far better than the others i have purchased.
The perfume you spray on lasts ages, so i am not using as much as what i would normally. The smell is so sweet and i love sweet smelling perfume, obviously not every one does so this might not be the right perfume for you.
I would definatly recommend this to potential buyers and i definatly wont be purchasing any other perfume just yet.
