Advantages: Not over powering, lasts all day

Disadvantages: Never seen it before

One of the presents which I received from Hubby was a 30ml bottle of Burberry Perfume. I am quite fussy when it comes to perfume and like to try before I buy. I sort of screwed up my face when I saw it, but it was a present so I just said thank you.

After opening all my pressies and putting them away, I decided to have a sniff and see what it smelled like. I was convinced it would be horrible as I find it hard to find a perfume which I like.

It was wrapped in the cellophane wrapping which you normally get. The box is smallish at around 2 and a half inches square. It is cream and at the bottom, all the way round as a trim, is the familiar Burberry, Nova Check. It says on the box that it is a Eau de Parfum.

Inside contains a small bottle. It is a sideward oval shaped. It comes with a round silver lid. The front of the bottle has Silver writing on it with BURBERRY London on it.

When I took the lid off, I was unable to smell the fragrance. It took a couple of pushes on the top to get any perfume to come out. It smelled very nice. It was quite a fruity smell. It sort of remined me of a spring morning.

Apparently it does contain essences of Peach and Apricot, Marigold and Blackcurrant. The peach and apricot, I can believe is there but the marigold and blackcurrant came as a surprise but it is a very pleasant fragrance. It's not overpowering like some perfumes and it made me want to try it again.

It is recommended for casual use, but I would use this when going out on a special evening out or on a day to day basis as I have been doing. Quite a few people have commented on it's delicate smell and the fact that it is not over powering. It could be because of the fact that I don't put too much on as I hate to smell overpowering. The smell is just perfect to give off a slight whift and get people asking me for a closer smell, which I always offer my wrist.

I also find that I never have to top it up. On
e skoosh in the morning lasts in to the early evening, which is ideal as it means it won't be used up quickly. I have used it every day for a week and the bottle still looks full.

I'm not sure how this compares with other perfumes but most places such as Boots, The Perfume Shop and Concept Metro all sell this in 30ml Bottles for £25. A 50ml bottle is available for around £36.

If you fancy a whiff ask for a sniff next time you are at a perfume counter. It is very nice and I jut love it, which is saying something. It would also be a lovely surprise for a female Partner.
