Bvlgari Eau Fraiche Eau de Toilette
Advantages: All the scents used are fantastic and work well together, good value for money, long lasting
Disadvantages: None from me
I have a number of perfumes in my collection; in fact I have quite a large number of perfumes in my collection. I love wearing a perfume no matter what I am up to; I think there are some lovely scents around. My collection is quite varied so there are all sorts of scents in there as well. The perfume that I am going to be reviewing today is my Eau Fraiche Bvlgari for women. I have only owned one other scent from the Bvlgari range before and this was a rose scented one. I was kindly brought this off my Nan for a birthday present (Well, my mum went and got it for her!) but here are my thoughts on it.
Having owned one bottle before, I knew that the brand is a mid-priced one. The bottle will cost you around the £27.00 mark which in my opinion is not to bad a price to have to pay. The brand is one that can be found in a number of different places, I had never really noticed how available it was until recently. High street stores like Superdrug, Wilkinsons and Saves will stock the perfume as well as department stores like Debenhams and House of Fraser. The scent can also be purchased from online. You do need to shop around a little for the perfume as it is one that can vary in price a little.
The bottle arrives in a cardboard box, the bottle is quite tall and thin, it is made from a cloudy glass so you cannot see directly into it. There is a gold cap at the top of the bottle and the Bvlgari name and the name of the scent is delicate put on the front in small black lettering. There is something quite old fashioned in my opinion about the bottle, quite old school. On the box is all the information that you need on the fragrance, a list of the ingredients that have been used as well as a breakdown of the scents included.
We are told by the brand that the perfume has top notes of orange blossom, coriander, rosewood and bergamot, middle notes of magnolia, rose and jasmine and finally there are base notes of green tea, musk and iris. I love each individual scent that has been used so I was keen to start wearing this scent, which was first launched back in 1997.
After the first use of the perfume, I noticed the mixture of the top note citrus scent mixed in with the floral scent was simply stunning! I was really impressed. I then went onto notice that the coriander and bergamot came through. Whilst there is a large number of scents that have been used here, they all keep their individuality, they don't just all blend into one which I really like. After the perfume wears off a little, you start to notice the middle and the base notes coming through. This perfume is ideal for day wear as it is really light and refreshing.
I think the qualities that I like the most about this perfume are the rose and jasmine coming through, these are a couple of my favourite scents and I am more than happy to recommend this scent. What is great that I think you have a good quality scent that doesn't seem to cost way over the odds.
The perfume also lasts all day, so I put this on to come to work and it is still present in the afternoon, and not in an overpowering way.
5 out of 5 from me on this one
