Amor Amor - Not loved by me!!! (Cacharel: Amor Amor, Eau de Toilette)

Advantages: Great looking bottle

Disadvantages: too strong, not long lasting, smell didn't appeal

I have tried this perfume after receiving it in one of those "mini sets" that tend to be around at christmas.

I really love the style of the packaging - it is a small red bottle with a twisted metal top. It just looks really interesting - I know I'm sad like that.

Anyway I'm afraid that's where my enjoyment of this product ends. I found that when I sprayed it on it immediately made my skin feel tight - I'm not sure if this means it has a high alchohol content?

I found the smell really overpowering - I do like my perfumes fairly strong but this seemed excessive and made me feel a bit sickly - but I didn't need to worry for too long because I found that it wasn't a long lasting perfume and had almost disappeared after about an hour and a half.

The smell is really flowery and reminds me of the sort of products you tend to get given away in hotels. It is at times overly sweet in smell and has a smokey after smell. Even though I have said it's flowery it doesn't seem to be a natural smell.

A larger bottle of this won't be on my Chritmas list for next year!!!

Summary: I found this perfume too strong, too drying on my skin, and not long lasting
