This perfume was definitely one of my own choices, it wasn't a Christmas present that I felt pressured to then use, it was actually a perfume that I decided I wanted just by looking at it. The thing that attracted me most to the perfume was the array of colours on the box. It kind of reminded me of an ice lolly I used to eat when I was younger, a zap if I remember correctly. Well anyway I certainly thought this box looked good enough to eat.
The perfume comes in one size which is 100ml, the price for this can vary from place to place but it is generally available for around £30. The perfume is called CK IN2U her heat which is very similar to other Calvin Klein perfumes that are available such as CK IN2U heat, her. As for the smell comparison, I couldn't be sure as I have never tried any of the other perfumes in this range. This is the newest perfume of this range, being introduced into the shops in March 2010.
The perfume comes packaged in a very attractive box which is a blend of pink and yellow in colour. It is very appealing and eye catching which is probably why I (a sucker for pretty things) decided to buy it in the first place. The perfume bottle itself is very simple and definitely less attractive than the outer box but it still has some appealing qualities. The bottle looks rather sophisticated, Its got minimal detail but that's a plus point I think. It looks nice on the dresser any way. The bottle is a very mustard like colour but on the whole Its not that unattractive.
The perfume itself has a mix of exotic scents to match the exotic picturesque of the box. The top notes consist of; Apricot, Raspberry and Guava. The middle notes consist of; Magnolia, Jasmine and Tiare flower. And the base notes consist of; Tonka bean, Caramel and Cedar. This varied mix of scents really gives the perfume a unique scent which fizzles with a mix of fruit, sweet and flowery scents.
Upon first spray of the perfume I was immediately greeted with a very sweet summery smell that was not overpowering but just right. I think with the initial smell there was enough of a balance between sweet fruits and subtle flowers to allow it to be more appealing rather than intoxicating. The after smell was also not expected, a couple of hours after spraying, the smell is still very sweet and flowery with a slightly stronger smell making the perfume more strong, this was also mixed with a very creamy smell which was a lot more subtle than the initial smell but is was still detectable on my skin. This again was a surprise because I am used to perfumes fading after a couple of hours but this one stayed very strong but also smelling nice. The staying power is excellent and lasts almost all day avoiding having to re spray.
In my opinion, this is a great perfume, it smells lovely and it can also be used as a day time perfume or a night time perfume, it has a lot of redeeming qualities to it which I am not used to saying about most perfumes. I would definitely recommend giving this perfume a try. If you are a fan of sweet, girly and summery smells, this would be ideal. I have now bought my second bottle of this perfume and I will keep on buying it because it is just so lovely.
