CK in2her (50ml Eau De Toilette)
I bought this fragrance a while ago from Debenhams online as it was on sale, I really don't need any more perfume as I have quite a lot of get through but as it was really cheap I bought it for myself. I have just finished this 50ml bottle and I have been using this fragrance on and off since I bought it just before summer this year.

- About the product and bottle/packaging
This fragrance comes in a 50ml bottle which is the smallest size available as far as I am aware and it also comes in 100ml or 150ml bottles. The perfume is only available as an eau de toilette which is not as strong and doesn't have as much longevity as an eau de parfum. The bottle/packaging in my opinion looks really quite unique, it reminds me of the glass beakers I used during A level chemistry/biology which isn't really what I would expect from a perfume designer. The packaging/bottle in my opinion looks really cheap and tacky and I definitely do not like the packaging of this product. Also as the bottle is covered with white plastic you cannot see the level of how much perfume you have left. And the bottle itself is really quite heavy (not great for travelling) which means that you cannot judge how much perfume you have by weight.
- Notes
Top notes: Pink grapefruit, Red currant leaves and Sicilian bergamot
Middle/heart notes: Sugar orchid, White cactus and Amber
Base notes: Vanilla and Red cedar
- Scent
The scent in my opinion is really nice! The scent initially is very fresh, sweet, floral and summery - the scent has good strength to begin with and the scent is definitely noticeable but it is not too strong or overpowering. The scent when first sprayed is a little bit metallic/hair spray like but this dissipates very quickly leaving a gorgeous mix of fresh, light, spring/summer notes - not really appropriate for this time of the year but I have used this product up now so I can on to my more spicy/wintery fragrances. The scent initially has a slight scent of 'chlorinated swimming pool' about it but it does change into a great scent very, very quickly. The scent on the whole remains the same, it does not really change into the baser notes as the longevity of this fragrance is very poor so I feel like all of the notes are not developed before the scent disappears from the skin/clothing. The freshness of this fragrance is quite uplifting and refreshing - the fragrance is definitely fresh and light with floral notes being the second most predominant scent. I cannot detect the notes separately but overall the scent is light, summery, floral and mainly very fresh smelling. Overall, a nice scent for spring/summer but it may be viewed by some as generic.
- Longevity
The longevity of eau de toilette fragrances is usually not as good as eau de parfum and I wasn't expecting fantastic things from this perfume but the longevity of this particular fragrance is very poor, in my opinion. Firstly, the scent strength after an hour or so is poor and the longevity of this fragrance on my skin is between one to two hours which is awful! After the initial spray the perfume scent/strength decreases fairly quickly and after about two hours the fragrance is not really noticeable at all on my skin. Although the longevity of this fragrance on clothing is a bit better and the fragrance usually lasts for about three hours on my clothing - sometimes four hours maximum but again the longevity really isn't good at all! Overall, very poor longevity on my skin and poor longevity of clothing - the poor longevity of this fragrance on the whole really lets this product down.
- Price and availability
I bought this fragrance from Debenhams online earlier this year when it was on offer at about £14 (50ml) but this fragrance is currently available at Boots.com for £21 (50ml), £14 on amazon (50ml), £21.45 for 100ml on amazon and £22.94 for 150ml at cheapsmells.co.uk.
Conclusions
Positives
*Fresh, uplifting, light, summery floral scent
*Cheap, usually on offer and fairly widely available
Negatives
*Very poor longevity on the skin - one to two hours on my skin but the longevity of clothing is better at about three hours - four hours maximum
*Cheap, tacky packaging, in my opinion
*Don't know how much perfume you have left (plastic cover and bottle is heavy anyway)
*Generic?
