If I were to ever choose only one specific brand for a perfume, without a doubt I would choose Calvin Klein. They have a range of beautiful fragrances, and If I could afford to, I would only choose to buy Calvin Klein's perfumes. It's a shame they are pretty expensive but to be honest, they are just that good and I do pay a lot of money because I think they are worth it.
Forbidden Euphoria is one of my all time favorites. It is a fragrance that I truly treasure and only use on very special occasions. I think It is not an everyday scent particularly for shopping around as It is quite strong and distinct. I personally always want something softer and more natural for everyday.
Forbidden Euphoria is meant to represent the younger and independent woman so it states, but to be honest, when my mum wears it, it smells fantastic and turns heads. It doesn't come across as too much or too strong unless you really generously spray it over yourself.
The fragrance has very fruity top notes which you can hardly tell, rather, to me it smells like a strong mixture of musky and floral. It claims to have heart notes of pink Peony and jasmine flowers and it smells beautiful. There isn't any other fragrance I could compare it too. It is very unique and very strong therefore a little certainly goes a long way. Like all perfumes, Spraying too much creates a chemically scent which isn't very appealing. The first time I tried this perfume I got carried away and sprayed a little too much. It was simply off putting and gave me a severe headache. I just wonder what other people must have thought of me!
Anyway, the perfume is available in different sizes, of course the bigger the dearer. I tend to stick to the 50 ml bottle, it costs between 40 to 50 pounds, depending where you purchase it from and it lasts me at least 6 months. Also I have noticed that the smell doesn't fade away if left out in the sun. Not that I would purposely put it in direct sunlight but I have accidently left it out on my window pane and it smelt warm but still amazing.
I love it and I hope they don't discontinue this perfume. It is one of my favorites.
