Carolina Herrera: For Men, Eau de Toilette

Carolina Herrera for Men came into my collection because my dad didn’t like the bottle he had received as a gift. He may not have liked it, but after a quick sample I decided it was nice enough to take home and sample at a later date. 2 years later I finally got round to trying it and as always I’m happy to share my views on a fairly unknown aftershave on the market. I suppose that one of the good things about travelling abroad and especially to a country where many of the heavily taxed items like cigarettes, alcohlic drink and fragrances are sold so cheapily, is that you get the opportunity to go into a shopping frenzy that you would certainly not have the pleasure of doing here in the U.K. or in Europe. Do I sound arrogant and obnoxious saying that title? Well I can afford to be with this eau de toilette. As a 16 year old in 18 year old clubs, I need everything I can get to get one step ahead of those older guys. This goes a long way. Why? Carolina Herrera 212 for Men Smell ----- It's gorgeous. I first smelt this when my boyfriend had a new bottle for our holiday last year. Its absolutely gorgeous! (I know im a woman but I suppose my opinion counts as its us that have 2 smell it!) It came in nice packaging-a silver tin effect and in a nice set(around £35 for a set of fragrance, small shower gel and shampoo from Debenhams) The smell isnt heavy and musky, its refreshing and light. I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend last year when it was just launched. It came in nice packaging, it had a silver tin effect and at the time it came in a nice set with the deoderant and shower gel all for around £27 which I thought was a pretty good price. However, I do have to have a little rant now as to why aftershaves are always so much cheaper than perfumes?? Don't we women suffer enough without having to pay more to things like haircuts and perfumes...ok minor rant over!
