I had never tried Celine Dion's fragrances before but received one for Christmas this year. The one I got was called Chic. The bottle is quite heavy and is very rectangular, with the lower corners sliced off reminding me of a boat shape. The spray bit sticks up out of the centre and is gold coloured with a black top and then it has this large rectangular black plastic lid on top which is quite strange as the hole goes right through so when you take it off you can see right through it. The lid only covers the sides of the spray where the fragrance sprays out from. I found the shape of the bottle made it quite hard to spray the fragrance onto your skin with one hand like you would normally do. I had to twist the bit with the hole in round so it was facing out over one of the long sides but it was still quite awkward to spray and while I was spraying the hole moved round again. I think this is a big design fault with the shape of the bottle.
The notes in this fragrance are as follows -
I am absolutely useless at recognising the notes in perfumes, all it smells of to me is flowers. It is quite a pretty scent when you first spray it on and you can still smell it after an hour or so but I found that it didn't last right through the day, you would have to re-apply it and what with the size and shape of the bottle I think it would be quite a weight to carry round with you in your hand bag and it would take up a lot of room too.
On the website fragrancex.com they are selling a 100 ml bottle for £15.33 which is quite good value for money. I couldn't find it on sale on the Boots site but Superdrug seem to be doing a smaller 30 ml bottle which comes in a gift set with a 150 ml lotion for £9.99 but it is a Xmas stock item so they might not have it in for long (it was selling for £12.95 but is reduced).
I don't think I would buy this perfume again once it has run out. I use it when I am going to be in doors all day as then I can re-apply when I feel like it but I wouldn't use it if I was going out, I would want something more longer lasting.
