I like my cerutti, and was well pleased when they brought a new brand out, Si, (pron-see), I never liked 1881, and after getting it I never wanted too know about anymore of their products, Cerutti Image, sorted there Image out there, 1881 was a big hitter, but I just didn't take too it.
Very Spicy, and earthy and has a simple yet effective smell, Si is another good product from the fragrance makers, Si is one for everyday use, though if you do have soft and sensitive skin after shaving, wait maybe 5- 10 minutes before applying, I find this quite helpful, putting a tester spray on before leaving it for a bit will close those pores from which you have shaved your growth.
For a 90 ml bottle of EDT, I paid GBP21.99, the spray is quite a way down so comes out in double measures, maybe the reason some folks think it is a bit sore after shaving.
Whenever you like, work, night out, football, bingo, day to day use or whenever you want, the earthy smell of Si stays while the spicy aroma, whittles away leaving a lovely man's fragrance, I never use it for a particular occasion, it can be used in the same way Lacoste Red is used, an all the time spray.
the top is a wooden, rosewood block, what kind of rosewood, I'm not sure, the 90 ml bottle is a bulky big thing, and is rectangular in shape, I don't like the design, but its whats inside that matters to me. I certainly wouldn't take it in a shower bag for going abroad or to a hotel with such is its cumbersome size.
Ages, i can't say any more than that, as it really does last a whole day and well into the night.
As with ALL Cerutti bottles it has some frosted glass in there, 2 strips off frosted, run down from the block, that makes up the lid.
I have a good collection of aftershaves EDT's, as do most of my muckers, when I asked them if they liked it i got a mixed bag, some thought it was too spicy, others "an old man's fragrance", the truth is, Cerruti make a "you either like it, or you don't", set of scents. If you love a spicy and earthy smell, then this is for you, it reminded me of Givenchy Pi, or if that doesn't ring a bell, like sour Image.
