Chanel's citrus child (Chanel: Allure for Men, Eau de Toilette)
Member Name: gaultier100
Advantages: Fresh, reviving and a little bit sexy Disadvantages: Pricy for regular use
Sequels are notouriously difficult but Chanel No 5 was always going to be a hard act to follow. This ultra-feminine scent was launched 5 years ago and has earned itself a hard core following of devotees including yours truly. Indeed, the packaging it comes in clearly resembles the original design for Chanel No 5. This perfume combines almost everything that most women would want from a scent - it is refreshing, gentle on the senses but when it needs to be, curiously intoxicating. Evenly composed of citrus, mandarin, jasmine and other flowers like magnolia, honeysuckle and waterlily, it also has hints of vanilla, a staple favourite in this type of scent. I find it extremely refrshing after a tiring day as it revives my spirit to not just fall asleep in a chair. Delicately floral but sensuous, this is one bottle that should be on shelves all over the country. Summary: |
