On the 2nd of April 2010 Chanel released onto the market a different version of their highly demanded fragrance Chance which I received as a birthday present from my husband last April. The passionate and pale pink revised version, Chance Eau Tendre, clearly consists of a deliciously fruity aroma blended with the scent of a fresh bouquet of spring flowers. The face of the publicity associated with Chance Eau Tendre is Sigrid Agren and the man behind the wonderful photography for this fragrance is Jean-Paul Goude.
This version Chance Eau Tendre makes itself known as light and refreshing with the potencial to make any woman glow inside out. A surprising blend of grapefruit and quince contrasts with the refreshing zest of recently picked leaves combined with a hint of pure Jasmine which floats in the air. This alongside the feminine scent of White Musk in my opinion, is what gives this fragrance the potencial to make any lady experience once again the innocence of youth and confidence in her own attractiveness. Everytime I wear this perfume it never fails to make me feel sexy and I walk down the street feeling more radiant than ever!
The only disadvantage where this classy Chanel fragrance is concerned is that it is a little pricey. There are some online shops available which sell this perfume for just over 61 pounds for a bottle of 100ml. Take a chance on Chance Eau Tendre, Parfum by Chanel because I can guarentee you won't be disappointed!
Chanel Chance Eau Tendre, I believe is one of three Chanel Chance fragrances which is why the fragrance comes in 3 different colours.
Chanel Chance Eau Tendre comes in a pink box and the perfume has a pink tinge. There is also Chanel Chance Eau Fraiche which has a green tinge and Chanel Chance which to me has an orange tinge.
I am reviewing Chanel Chance Eau Tendre (the pink one). I bought this perfume for myself because at £66.00 for a 100ml eau de toilette, I didn't have many offers from other people to buy it for me!
It comes in a fairly plain pink and white box with the Chanel logo on the top. The glass bottle is round and flat with "Chance Chanel" across the front and "Eau Tendre" in pink across the bottom of the bottle. It has a silver metal strip around the curve of the bottle and a small silver metal plaque almost nailed onto the bottom of the bottom with a few details on - made in USA, 100ml. I presume this is to make the bottle difficult to copy/ fake. It has a plastic cube shaped lid with the Chanel logo on the top.
Chanel describe this fragrance as "Grapefruit-Quince notes intertwine with Jasmine Absolute, warmed by the rounded and feminine note of White Musk. A new, irresistible lucky charm, for an optimistic woman who never lets chance passes her by."
I would describe the smell as light, floral, feminine and delicate. Out of the three difference 'Chance's this was my favourite. It is quite subtle and not overpowering at all, but it is still evident after 8 hours at work and I often get complimented on it.
You could easily get away with wearing this fragrance for a night out, but I tend to use it as a day time fragrance as it is very light and delicate. I think it would appeal to any age range. I am in my 20's and as well as appealing to me I can easily imagine my mother and even my 85 year old grandmother wearing this fragrance.
It is available at Boots, Debenhams, House of Fraser, Selfridges etc.
I think this is a pleasant versatile fragrance that I regularly receive compliments on when I wear including just now from my fiance who enthusiastically asked which fragrance I was wearing as soon as he entered the room. I think the floral delicate scent would be difficult to offend anyone. Overall I would say it is definitely worth the £66 pricetag. I feel it is an essential part of my vast perfume collection.
