As an avid fan of anything Chanel when this fragrance first came out and it hit the shelves here in Coventry I had to have a bottle of it to add to my ever growing collection of perfumes of course! I literally begged my Mother for it for my birthday but because of price I was amazed I actually got it lol! It's been around now for a good few years and I had it even before the fabby advertising with Sophie Dahl was about! (I always knew I had excellent taste lol). To my eyes when I first spotted it in the shop (and sniffed it of course) I just felt that it oozed sex appeal and decadence. It's simply very elegant indeed and ladylike and very unlike me but hey I ... Read the complete review

Wow Wow Wow... My Auntie always wears Chanel no.5 which I have to say I find a tad over powering on me. I had a bottle of Coco as a young lady in my early twenties, don't you know, and I found it much to strong for me and in fact it put me off of trying Chanel again until I discovered Coco Mademoiselle I have never been told I smell so good so many times as when wearing this perfume, by men, women and children. Although this perfume is a little on the expensive side it is worth every penny. Costing just over fifty pound, if you don't feel you can justify spending that much, then ask for it as a gift from the special person in your life. ... Read the complete review

When I first sprayed Coco Mademoiselle I fell in love with it. It is a lighter version of the original Coco perfume and I have always loved that one but never bought it for myself. When I wear this perfume I feel elegant and classy. It isn't in any way overpowering, in fact, at times there is just a subtle hint of any perfume at all. I think that the name suits the fragrance perfectly (in case you didn't know, mademoiselle is "miss" in French). In a way it is quite similar to Chanel Chance and that is possibly why I love this almost as much. Definitely for the modern woman/young ... Read the complete review

I was given some vouchers for House of Fraser a year or two ago and decided I would use them to get some new perfume as I had recently finished a couple of bottles. So I decided to look at what was 'hot' on the makeupalley site and coco mademoiselle was in the top five so I thought I would look into that. Turns out it is an incredibly popular fragrance. Apparently Chanel designed this perfume because they felt that people viewed their Coco perfume as being for a more mature market and they thought they were missing out on the younger section of society so they decided to use Coco as inspiration and redesign it with a fresh new take. There have been quite a few famous ... Read the complete review

Before I go into any of the details of this review, I need to mention that I refer the the EDP (Eau de Parfum) version of this fragrance. Generally, different perfume concentrations used to mean just that - different percentages of the same combination of perfume oils, and different quantities of alcohol. It could happen that the different alcohol ratios could make the respective versions smell slightly differently on some people. But that was all. In the last few years, however, there is an increasing tendency, to not just tweak the notes into different proportions to each other, but to actually change the fragrance notes significantly. A Chanel representative ... Read the complete review
