The CHANEL COCO MADEMOISELLE Eau de Parfum is available for 48.50.
The Eau de Parfum is described as follows. "The essence of a bold, free woman. An oriental fragrance with a strong personality, yet surprisingly fresh. COCO MADEMOISELLE draws its inspiration from the fascinating personality of Gabrielle Chanel. The fragrance is the olfactory reflection of an independent thinker who breaks the rules to create her own. The portrait of a woman ready to daringly write her own destiny. An oriental fragrance with a strong personality, yet surprisingly fresh. Sparks of fresh and vibrant orange immediately awaken the senses. A clear and sensual heart reveals the transparent accords of Jasmine and Rose. The trail unfurls the pure accents of Patchouli and Vetiver that emphasise the slender structure of the composition."
The appearance of the bottles is usually very important to me. I like particularly playful variants very much, so the opposite of what applies to this product. Nevertheless, the appearance is very well done. The spray head is so incorporated into the bottle, no closure is necessary and it also so simple can grab a handbag the scent. The scent is very feminine and gentle. The description of the manufacturer applies for once, right to the point. One smells directly from the bottle, he looks much more intense than it actually is applied. Of this thing ought not to be deterred you look. Particularly impressive, I find that the scent lasts very long and both for the wearer and for other long time is perceptible without being annoying. Of course, the durability of the effect is reinforced by the fact that half the firm bears the scent, even though we all engage only in the morning to the bottle and wrap us with two sprayers with the scent. We can therefore be pleased despite the high price. The fragrance is productive enough to qualify for the prize. In addition, it adapts to every occasion, which I think is also very positive. Normally, I like to experiment with fragrances to me around, but for months I only wear more Coco Mademoiselle and am completely satisfied. Although the nickname Mademoiselle suggesting that Chanel with this fragrance will appeal to a more younger audience of women, I think the smell is portable at any age.
My mum got a nostalgic craving for it recently and ordered the parfum. It is everything we wanted for an everyday fragrance in the summer. Pushing gourmand, but not too cloying. Mellow fruitiness and the right mid-balance of floral. Earthy, but still light. It is reminiscent of the early noughties according to her. As one would expect from the Chanel brand, it is an expensive perfume and is currently on offer at around £48 for a 35ml bottle in Boots. It's better to buy a bigger bottle as it costs less per 100ml, and the perfume lasts a very long time. With regards to its notes, the composition is as follows:
Top: bergamot, grapefruit and citrus (orange)
Middle (heart): jasmine, rose and lychee
Base: musk, vativer, patchouli and vanilla
The perfume has a lovely citrus and fresh fragrance which isn't overbearing or artificial. I found that the most prominent notes were that of the patchouli, rose and bergamot, and the least noticeable were the musk, grapefruit and vertiver (a tall perennial grass whose oil has a woody scent). With regards to the sillage and longevity, I have to say that both are excellent. The perfume lasts all throughout the day, from morning to night, and the sillage is really heavy too. Although the perfume is light it bursts and lingers through a room and wherever you walk. It's definitely noticeable - my friends have asked me which perfume I'm wearing many times. The bottle is gorgeous too: pretty and feminine like the perfume it holds; I dare not throw the used bottles away because they're like a collectible item!
Having a sort out of the house the past few days and came across some perfumes I completely forgot I had! Good job really as the ones in my room are running dangerously low!
Chanel - Coco Mademoiselle Eau De Parfum:
'A unique blend of intense freshness and lightness. A light, fresh, sophisticated fragrance for a sexy and captivating woman.'
Out of the Chanel range this has to be one of my favourite scents, I adore the freshness to it. With Chanel I find some people have a love or hate relationship to their fragrances but I think this one will appeal to a much wider audience.
The top notes of orange, bergamot and grapefruit. Middle notes of Litchi, rose and Italian Jasmine; and base notes of Indonesian Patchouli, Hawaiian vetiver and Bourbon Vanilla. Knowing there are floral notes surprisingly I don't feel that just walked in a florist kick!
Some scents that have floral notes I find to be overwhelming and I find it hard to take to them. Like the original Coco, nice but to powerful for me. This one they have done I think to get a wider scoop of women.
When this is first sprayed I find it sweet and rich with more of the bergamot at first and a little citrus hinting under. After the hour mark has passed this seems to get less rich but I found it gets a little sweeter with the vanilla. The 2 - 5 hours stage I would say is my favourite part as I love the sweetness, yet a sophisticated kind of sweet aroma.
The latter part of this fragrance 5 - 7 hours I think goes a little musk still with that hint of sweetness. For the age market I would put this as mid-twenties and above. I'm 28 and my mom is 56 and she likes this one just as much as I do.
I normally spray, one on each wrist and two around my neck I find this is more than enough to last me the whole day. As with most Chanel scents this does have a good longevity, which as this is a pricier scent you would hope it had anyway.
For a Chanel product I would expect the design to be on top form but if I'm honest I think the bottle is a little standard looking. I have the 35ml spray bottle, I prefer sprays as they are easy to use. So far I've had no issues and sprays just right with a decent amount of perfume each time.
Price and Availability:
As always you can shop around but I normally like to get fragrances from Boots, they either have offers on or sometimes you can get a free item too.
35ml - £47.50
50ml - £66.50
100ml - £94.50
This I think is becoming a firm favourite of mine; it is lovely and light but noticeable. Has a rich freshness and wonderfully sweet but I would say in a mature way. Coco Mademoiselle doesn't cause any irritation to my skin just makes me smell amazing.
Five out of five stars from me.
Thank you for reading.
I bought Chanel Coco Mademoiselle for myself back in February when Boots had 10% off all of their fragrances.
It usually costs £92.00 for the 100ml eau de parfum, but with 10% off I saved £9.20 and got it for £82.80.
I had wanted this perfume for a while.
I don't usually go around buying myself perfumes or buying myself anything that costs so much money actually, but in January I was fed up and decided to treat myself to a few perfumes and then in February I continued to buy more and more perfume until my collection almost doubled and my bank balance almost disappeared!
Coco Mademoiselle was first on my list from Chanel's fragrance range. I had tried the testers in Boots and this smells gorgeous.
~ Price ~
Coco Mademoiselle eau de parfum is available in 50ml and 100ml bottles.
The 50ml bottle is available in Boots for £67.00.
The 100ml bottle is available in Boots for £95.00. (This must have gone up in the last few months as mine was definitely reduced from £92.00).
It is also available in department stores.
~ Bottle ~
The bottle is made from clear glass and is the classic rectangular shape that the Chanel bottles come in.
The front of the bottle there is a gold coloured rectangular shape, which borders a rectangle of frosted glass with the words, 'COCO MADEMOISELLLE CHANEL PARIS' one under the other, the words in clear transparent glass lettering.
The lid of the perfume is quite heavy and is made from frosted glass. It has a cylindrical neck, which fits over the spray nozzle. This has two gold stripes going right around the neck, with a thicker white stripe in the middle with a tiny Chanel logo (two letter 'C's one facing left and one facing right) on the front.
The top of the lid is rectangular with angular edges.
The lid fits nicely on the top of the bottle, clicking into place.
The perfume itself is a light pink colour.
I like the design of this bottle. It is a nice size and a classic shape. I like the shape of the lid as well.
One thing that I don't like so much about the bottle is how easily it gets fingerprints on the glass. I find it quite frustrating as I like to keep my belongings clean and in good condition.
~ Scent ~
This perfume is beautiful. It is quite distinctive.
It has top notes are orange, mandarin orange, orange blossom and bergamot.
The heart notes are mimose, jasmine, turkish rose and ylang-ylang.
The base notes are tonka bean, patchouli, opoponax, vanilla, vetiver and white musk.
It has a light fresh floral scent. It has an exotic, oriental scent with slight sharpness to it, but I don't think anyone would find it offensive.
It smells really expensive and sophisticated.
It has good sillage. I find that I notice it on my skin throughout the day. I haven't been too impressed with the longevity of this perfume. It lasts on my skin for around 6 hours, which isn't too bad, but I would expect more from a perfume that is so pricey and that represents such a high-status brand.
I use this both as a day time scent and when I am going on a night out.
~ Comparison ~
In June 2011 it was in the press that 90% of people on a panel of 150 women favoured a fragrance called Suddenly - Madame Glamour to Chanel Coco Mademoiselle. Suddenly Madame Glamour is made by the budget supermarket Lidl and sells for just £3.99 (per 50ml bottle) so I couldn't write this review without doing a quick comparison.
I got Suddenly Madame Glamour last weekend after months of thinking about it every time I drove passed Lidl.
Suddenly Madame Glamour smells very similar to Chanel Coco Mademoiselle. It is an eau de parfum, but it does not smell as strong as Coco Mademoiselle. It is still strong enough and has a presence to it. It smells expensive. It is hard to believe it was less than £4.00 and I would recommend it. Although I do prefer Chanel Coco Mademoiselle I'm not sure that I prefer it by over £63.00.
~ Conclusion ~
Despite now owning the similar Lidl fragrance, Suddenly Madame Glamour, I still think I would buy Chanel Coco Mademoiselle again if my bottle was to run out.
I think it is one of Chanel's nicest fragrances.
It smells expensive and sophisticated and has good sillage. However, I haven't been overly impressed with the longevity of the perfume and it is rather pricey.
I love the bottle design with the big angular stopper on the top and the colour of the perfume is nice as well.
Coco Mademoiselle is a perfume from fashion house Chanel and is definitely considered a premium fragrance at a premium price. The 50ml bottle costs in the order of £80 and you can get it from a limited number of places such as Boots and large department stores. Places like Superdrug and Savers do not stock it, possibly due to the high price. Someone passed this on to me as they didn't like it at all, I used that and have had two further bottles given to me for Christmas in the last couple of years. It really feels like a gorgeous treat to use but I use it sparingly due to the cost.
The description of Coco Mademoiselle says that:
Top notes are: Orange, Bergamot, Grapefruit
Middle Notes are: Litchi, Rose, Italian Jasmine
Base Notes: Indonesian Patchouli, Haitian Vetiver, Bourbon Vanilla, White Musk
I find the descriptions of perfume very strange because I tend not to agree with the scents that they say are in them. There is something chocolately about the fragrance to me, perhaps it is the Vanilla and White Musk in the base notes that makes me think of chocolate? I'm not sure but there is definitely something chocolatey about it.
When I first tried Coco Mademoiselle, I wasn't sure about the scent; although the top notes are fruity which I generally like, the floral middle notes mixed with the fruity top notes were a bit strange at first. The perfume is also quite strong at first so you really don't need much of it at all. So when I was given the perfume, I could partially understand why the person who gave it to me had not liked it. However, as the day went on and the rich undertones of the base notes wafted through, I was constantly sniffing my arm - a sure sign that it's a perfume I love! After that, I was using it daily and loving it.
I definitely do think that all fragrances in this sort of price range are over priced, but that is what makes them premium I guess. This does last a long time, I can still smell the base notes by the evening, yet the scent overall isn't too overpowering for me (and hopefully no one I work with either - would hate to think I was choking my colleagues with gross perfume, there is nothing worse!). I would say that this is more of an evening perfume based on the cost and the scent but to be honest it is one that I do tend to use through the day as it isn't too overpowering compared to some of the perfumes I have used in the past.
Because it is quite strong, I tend not to need many sprays of it and so it lasts a long time. The 50ml bottle lasts about a year or so, sometimes slightly more and that is when I'm rotating it with two other perfumes that I used regularly. I guess if you used it daily fairly sparingly it might last 6-8 months.
The perfume is very expensive and it is definitely a Christmas treat for me to receive it in a gorgeous Chanel box, quite often with the bubble bath and body lotion sandwiched in next to it. I do feel like I'm getting a really gorgeous treat! I don't think it is good value for money but in the perfume world I guess it lasts a long time for the scent it provides and so goes someway to being "good value". I have bought this before and would buy it again in the future and can see it will be one of my long-term classics which I'll probably still be wearing when I'm 95! I can recommend this perfume as it is musky and a little bit sweet and the floral scents do not come through very strongly which is good if you like musky perfumes. 4 stars from me, just one dropped based on the price. My top tip is to keep an eye out at Christmas in Boots for 10% discount codes or bonus point offers, the perfume is very rarely reduced so that will be your best deal.
Ok whilst its difficult to say how I love this pefurme I will try! I found it a few years ago after spending hours looking for my "signature scent" and this is now on my Christmas wish list every year. The perfume has a feminine fresh, delicate smell. If you could desribe what sophiscated and lady like smelt like this would be it! The fragrance is defined by Chanel as notes of orange, bergamot, jasmine and morning rose. I know thats sounds like quiet a mix but it just works! Its feminine without being either too girly or overpowering. The smell itselt I would describe as a mix between fruity and floral but very delicate and light. The parfum is stronger than the Eau de Toilette and will last for good fews hours. I love the packaging - a square glass bottle with a crystal like lid which is elegant and classy and looks good on any dressing table! I would also recommend the moisturing lotion which lasts for hours and also smells heavenly! At around £50 pounds for 50 ml this perfume is very expensive but you get what you pay for when it comes to perfume and this is definately worth it!
I brought this perfume after i recieved the moisturiser as a present and realsied how much I loved it. It is definitely a scent that oozes class both in scent and look.
The perfume comes in a rectangular glass bottle with an original style spayer at the top. The glass is fairly heavy and tough as I have dropped it and not broken it yet! It has a glass lid as well. It comes in a very classy box, the box is plain cream with a black lined border. It is a very simple design, it has the name clearly written on it. I keep mine in the box as I heard that sunlight can effect the scent.
I wear this as a day perfume, it is quite light and flowery, it has rose and jasmine petals in. It is a really lovely smell, it can be very pverpowering if you spray too much on. I tend to use two - three sprays and that lasts the day. It is defonitely a quality perfume.
for 50ml it is about £55 which is expensive. I brought mine in America about 5 years ago. I do ot use it every day as I am a nurse and smells an effect patients. It has not lost it scent at all, so for £55 it has lasted really well. I would shop around as I am sure you could probably get it a little bit cheaper on the internet.
I would definitely recommend purchasing this perfume. It is expensive but as you do not have to use much it lasts so is worth every penny. I have given it four stars but only because if you use too much it is too overpowering and loses the light smell. It is expensive which means that some people can not afford it especially in the recession.
Launched in 2001 this is one of the new fragrances from Chanel.
You can always be assured of a really quality perfume from Chanel, for me it's the holy grail of brands in terms of fragrance.
The bottle is similar to other perfumes from Chanel and that is to say that it is classic looking. It is square with clean lines and a sophisticated look. The bottle doesn't need to be pretentious because for me the scent that does the talking.
The scent is lovely and like it's sister fragrance 'No.5' it's the sort that people notice. It's very feminine smelling and quite florally but not sickly so and has fruity tones which seems to balance it out so nicely. It has top notes of orange, bergamot and grapefruit. Middle notes of litchi, rose, italian jasmine and base notes of Indonesian patchouli, Hatian vetiver, vanilla and white musk. This perfume also has really good staying power and the fragrance will easily last all evening.
This really isn't a cheap perfume though and you can expect to pay a minimum of around £60 for 35ml so for me it's not an everyday perfume but one I wear on special occasions or when I feel i need a bit of a confidence boost.
This perfume has possibly the BEST bottle out of any perfume I own and have seen!
(Debenhams) COCO MADEMOISELLE The quintessence of a great fragrance. A feeling of luxuriance is achieved through two exclusive ingredients that form the signature for all CHANEL parfums: Jasmine Absolute and May Rose Absolute. These delicate flowers bursting with confidence are highlighted by a touch of Iris from Florence.
~~Current Price & Additional Information~~
Boots are selling them at the following prices:
£45 for 35ml; £61 for 50ml; £73 for the 60ml with 3x20ml (the one I have); £86 for the 100ml; £146 for the 200ml.
I'll explain the big claim I made above... I have the 3 x 20ml Eau de parfum, so this isn't applicable to all the Coco Mademoiselle perfumes. I don't tend to keep perfume boxes, but since it comes with refills I can explain how the box looks. The cardboard box is a gorgeous white pearly colour with a gold flap lid. Inside there are three spaces inside: two for the refills and one with the perfume spray bottle with a refill inside. The bottle is in this same pearly colour as the box but with gold edges. The top of the bottle has a white Chanel logo enclosed in a white circle. The rest of the top is gold and the logo looks beautiful on top of it! The nicest thing is the way you open this bottle. One twist to the left and the golden top slides upwards to reveal the spray attachment. You just press downwards to use. The dimensions measure around 10x2.5x2.5cm which makes it perfect for most handbags! It's just so chique!!
I wanted a really classic perfume to add to my collection, and since I had the Chanel No.5 already, I decided to buy another Chanel perfume to see how that would go. I actually like the Coco Mademoiselle a LOT better than the Chanel No.5 which isn't to everyone's taste...
The top notes contain orange, bergamot and grapefruit - you can definitely make out the orange and bergamot, with the bergamot being the stronger scent in my opinion. The perfume has a really rich, musky smell that fades out very gracefully with Litchi, Rose, Italian Jasmine as the middle notes and finally Indonesian Patchouli, Haitian Vetiver, Bourbon Vanilla, White Musk as the base notes. An absolutely gorgeous perfume to wear for special nights out.
I wouldn't wear it on an everyday basis, as much as I like it, it's too strong for me. I prefer a perfume that is more subtle and fades out in a gentle way. It all depends on personality, but this one is a very obvious scent! I like to spray it once at the start of the night - the smells is still quite vibrant at the end of it and I can distinctly make it out the next day as well.
I walked into this blind and didn't think to even pop to my local Boots to try this perfume out. Thankfully it worked out for me, since I paid around the £70 mark for it... would have been an expensive mistake to make, but it was a bit of a one off splurge! I definitely recommend you try this out first since it's quite strong, but very feminine. I think this specific 3x20ml version is perfect for gifting, even though it's very pricey! I've bought my mother a bottle, but not the same version as mine...and I regret it! I've used the same bottle for nearly 3 years now and...well...my first refill still hasn't run out even though I've made quite good use of it. A brilliant perfume overall and long lasting too since you only need 2 sprays to last you the whole night (in my case anyway)! The only disadvantage would be the price - perfumes are pricey but Chanel perfumes are even more so... since Chanel is a more exclusive brand, the price you're going to be paying, even if you hunt around online, is going to be similar to rrp...
Chanel is a well-known brand when it comes to Haute Couture and perfumes. Founder of the brand is Gabriella "Coco" Chanel. The name Coco comes from her name when she tried to be known as an artist.
Coco Mademoiselle is a fragrance made by Chanel, Jacques Polge. The fragrance was launched in 2001 and so has been already around a considerable number of years. The fragrance is an intense temptation according to the brand. When I smell the fragrance i notice that it is a very floral fragrance, sweet but with a fresh accent. As for flowers I recognise the ylang ylang and roses with a sweet accent of vanilla. The bright accents make me immediately think of citrus. The fragrance consists of the following notes:
Top: orange, mandarin, orange blossom, bergamot
Heart: Mimosa, jasmine, Turkish rose, ylang-ylang
Base: tonka bean, patchouli, Opoponax, vanilla, vetiver, white musk
The scent is present throughout the day after applying it in the morning but is not heavy. I think it's a perfect scent for during the day as well as night. I normally do use it for during the day but not really when I go to work. Especially since the bottle is expensive I use it more for special occasions.
I think it's a great perfume and that's mostly due to the combination of the sweetness and freshness. The sweet fragrance of flowers and vanilla are a great counterpart to the freshness of the citrus. The scent stays with me the whole day after applying it in the morning which is always a big plus. Since the fragrance is not too heavy I think the fragrance is perfect for day and night wear. I think the only negative of this fragrance is the price as it costs around 50 pounds to buy it.
I am a real perfume lover, I have so many perfumes on my dressing table that there is barely room for anything else, but this really is my favourite perfume of them all. It is such a gorgeous scent that I find myself sniffing my own wrist or spraying a scarf with it so I can sneakily have a sniff (I may sound crazy, but if you try it you will understand).
We are talking about Chanel here so it is going to be expensive, the EDT version is a bit cheaper but believe me the Eau de parfum is well worth the money if not just for the bottle alone (I love perfume bottles) but also being an eau de parfum it means that you only need to use a drop of it for the fragrance to stay on you all day and make you feel as sophisticated as Audrey Hepburn.
The smell that comes off this perfume is delightful, it is really floral but not overally so, we have all experienced those perfumes that give us a headache because they are so pungent and way over the top, this does not happen with Chanel, the balance seems to be perfect, how they do it is anyone's guess but I am not complaining. This is a perfume for the woman or young lady that wants to create a signature perfume that everyone will buy her on special occasions, the woman that wants to make people turn around and think 'she smells lovely' as she walks into a room (confess, we all comment if a women's perfume smells lovely when they walk past).
Perfume is such a personal thing but everyone has commented on this perfume and about how lovely it smells and the good thing is that it smells a bit different on each person depending on their natural scent, so mother and daughter can use the same perfume, although once you get your hands on this perfume you will not want to share it, trust me.
This perfume make you feel so special because of the delicateness of the fragrance but also makes you feel powerful at the same time because you know that you will smell beautiful all day.
Take my advice and grab a bottle the next time you are thinking of changing perfume!
I first tried this fragrance during a wander around duty free just before I got on a long haul flight from Australia to the UK. By the time I got to the UK I could still smell the perfume and I still loved it. After 24 hours of being dehydrated and tired the fragrance had not even given me a headache. (I've found that to be a problem with other fragrances.) I felt that my journey had given this fragrance a proper test and so I bought it as soon as I could.
It's now on my Christmas/Birthday list every year as it is a more expensive fragrance than some but it is completely worth it for a classy sophisticated scent with staying power. I have noticed with cheaper fragrances they fade very quickly. The fragrance is ideal for evenings as it's on the stronger side of the fragrance scale but I admit I regularly spritz it on during the day for work to brighten up my Mondays. I would say if you like a very light floral number this is not for you as this is more of a slightly spicy oriental scent. Would definatly recommend you go and try it out.
This is one of my all time favourite perfumes! I have currently run out, but cant bare to throw away my empty bottle until I get a new one, as I enjoy just taking off the lid and catching the smell!
I dont't think Chanel can be beaten when it comes to perfumes! This perfume is very distinctive and unique. Everything about this perfume is classy - the box, the bottle, the advert! This perfume is timeless, can be worn in any season, for any occasion and by any age. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone that prefers a light smell, as it is quite strong (but i think this is a good thing).
The only negative I have about this perfume, is that far too many of my friends and family have gone out to buy it since i started wearing it, and i prefer to have my own fragrance that no one else i know wears - however that just shows how lovely the smell is!
Chanel has always been one of the luxury brands to make me drool as a child, from their beautiful and stylish adverts for each of their perfumes and Coco Madamoiselle hit me straight away.
Having Keira Knightley be at the forefront of their campaign, I was more than happy to fork out to smell like her. The bottle is very french vintage and keeps to its original design from years ago and is beautiful to hold with its fine cut bevelled edges.
The smell is easily convertible from a day to night fragrance. If you want everyone to turn their heads as you walk into a room, this is the fragrance for you.
For the price, it is incredibly expensive (so get someone to buy it as a gift for you!) but you do pay for the luxury as the smell is sensational, its very rich and heady and its like the gift that keeps on giving, you can smell it on your skin for hours afterwards. You do not need the body lotions to keep the scent on your skin. This is the only perfume I feel that keeps its strength of scent throughout the day.
The best way is to spray it on a pashmina or scarf and that way you will always smell of it without spraying it everyday because believe me you will want to.
I went through a 30ml bottle in about 6 months of spraying it everyday... and the next xmas I was bought a 50ml bottle and unfortunately its almost finished.... it only lasted 9 months...
For my birthday in April one of my friends bought me a bottle of the Chanel Coco Mademoiselle body moisture mist spray which I just loved so as my sister was going abroad I asked would she pick me up some of the eau de parfum from the duty free to save me some pennies and I shall review this now.
There is something about Chanel which just screams class and perhaps extravagance to me and I am a fan of a few of the scents, particularly the Chance perfume which I used for my wedding day and from then on. The packaging used for the perfumes always looks expensive and classy and this is also the case with this perfume which comes presented in a white box with black simple writing. It has a gold trim around the top and bottom and the actual top of the box is also gold. The packaging looks timeless and classic and is something that I like to have on my dressing table so I always keep my Chanel perfumes with their boxes.
The bottle is not a let down in any way with its rectangular shape and thick chunky lid. The bottle looks expensive and the perfume inside it is visible so you are well aware of when you are likely to run out of the product. The Coco Mademoiselle logo is featured on the bottle and is lined with a gold edging which again makes it look classy.
The actual perfume is just lovely. It is quite floral and although it smells quite strong when I initially spray it on to my skin it soon settles down in to a nice light fragrance which is still noticeable on the skin but not overwhelming in any way. I am a bit rubbish with individual notes and do not claim to be an expert so I have looked online to find that information for those of you that would like to know:
Top notes: orange and bergamot
Middle notes: rose, jasmine, ylang ylang, mimosa
Base notes: patchouli, vanilla and musk
The fragrance to me, although floral, seems quite young and fresh too. I believe it is suited more to the younger end of the Chanel fans and is perhaps a lighter alternative to the more established Coco range. The scent lasts really well throughout the day for me and when I spray it in the morning I can still smell it at the end of the day although it is obviously much more faded then. If I were to be going on a night out I would probably reapply this in the night purely because I like the scent of perfume to linger. You only need one or two sprays when you apply it to each area too so a bottle goes a long way really.
Now this perfume is never going to be cheap being that it is a Chanel product but you can pick up a 35ml bottle from boots for £45.00 which isn't too bad for an excellent quality perfume which I like to save for when I am really feeling in the mood to treat myself rather than for every day use. I would really recommend this perfume if you are looking for something light, floral and long lasting and which will make you feel special when you wear it.
Thank you for reading my review!
