I am not blessed with a bottle of Chanel No.5, by my Mum is. However, unlike most of her perfumes, i don't take a sneaky squirt of it now-and-then for several reasons: one being, she would know, as a lustful, woody and slightly flowery strong scent would linger in the air for hours after and she would know it was me- and secondly, its too special to steal...

You see, Chanel no.5 is a classic perfume; expenisve, but worth every penny. Its strong, so little is used, and it comes in a sophisticated clear bottle and white and gold little box. The scent is character itself; with just its appearance drawing you in for a sniff of the sensual, bodied, sweet and timeless essence of Chanel herself.

However, if you were to give as a present, the reciever would worship you. It comes with a beautifully classy black and gold bag, which i loved, and its perfect for any woman, for any occasion. It also would come in handy and relevant with the release of 2009 film "Coco Before Chanel".

Chanel is the original and the best perfume out there. And just one sniff will have you converted.

Avalible on ebay, but its best to buy at a proper perfume shop or somewhere such as Boots/Lloyds Pharmacy.
