My husband just got a new job and as a present to say thank you for putting up with him during the stressful transition he bought me this lovely new Chloe perfume. I have worn Chloe perfumes in the past, most notably Chloe signature which I absolutely loved but used up way to fast unfortunately so I was really excited to try this one.

It looks the same as Chloe signature in a way but immediately you can see from the see through bottle that the liquid itself is a lot darker than the signature perfume and I think this is because this perfume smell is a lot richer than the other one. Chloe describe is as a gold juice and that's definitely the colour of it, quite a rich honey colour and they say this is so it can highlight the richness of the fragrance. 

Chloe Eau de Parfum Intense Spray is described as, "A new way to wear Chloé: purely chic, intensely feminine and mysteriously seductive. The fragrance starts with the fresh and fusing note of pepper. Its romantic scent envelops you with the floral facet of the rose petals. Its sensual base then warms you with the entrancing tonka bean and the delicateness of honey."

It is described as a floral/fruity scent and has Oriental Notes, Rose, Amber, Pink Pepper, Honey, Cedar, Magnolia, Tonka Bean, Sandalwood but saying all this, what does it actually smell like. Well, its hard to describe but I would say its a very strong smelling perfume and leaves quite an after smell after you spray it on. It is quite heavy and definitely more of a evening scent as I find it is way too heavy for day time wear. It's quite a captivating scent though and really unusual and it has turned into one of my favourites for a bit of a romantic night out. 

The bottle is absolutely gorgeous and is quite vintage and classic looking and looks great on my vanity. The bottle is square and made of see-through glass. The glass itself has a ribbed pattern all the way through it which gives it a very classic bottle look. The top of the glass has a chrome around it with Chloe written on it. The stopper at the top is chrome too and round. When you take the top off the perfume has a spray nozzle for which to apply the perfume to your skin. There is a little ribbon tied around the top of the bottle too which makes it look very fashionable in my opinion. It is clean and simple and very effective.

I really like this fragrance and love the way it makes me feel when I wear it. This was a lovely gift from my husband but this perfume is quite expensive and not something I could justify buying for myself so I will have to hint to my husband that I loved it when it starts to run out again. I believe a 70ml bottle is in the £60 region so expensive but definitely a very good quality perfume.
