Dior midnight poison was launched in 2007 and joined the already infamous poison range. Being quite young i have never been able to afford any of the range as the cheapest i have ever found them for is 30 pounds i always felt it was a bit much to spend on perfume alone.

However the poison range is one of my favourites and i always make a beeline for my local debenhams or house of fraiser just to steal a sample ... i know im naughty lol. Midnight poison is the most sensual of the range as it has quite a mysterious scent to it that is much to strong for an everyday perfume but perfect for a hot date or going out partying. The smell is not for anyone that likes girly fragrances as it is quite deep and almost like a mild form of aftershave however it never seems to get old and i love it for it.

Of all the perfumes i have even owned i must say the presentation of this is my favourite. The bottle is a rich blue in a rounds yet distorted shape, think an apple with ridges. The top is black and easy to remove yet still tight enough to safely protect your perfume being squirted if you take it out in your bag.

Onto the price, a normal 50ml bottle will set you back around 45 pounds but i found a cheaper alternative. I asked for a bottle from my partner for christmas but due to money problems i did not get it so i went out in the sales and purchased a boxset with a dior bag, 50ml of the prefume and even 100ml of the satin body wash with the same fragrance, worth 70 pounds in all but i got it for 33.

The fragrance is amazing but if you are unsure go to you local department store and ask for a sample. i would recommend trying it 5 or 6 times before jumping into anything as i have had the problem where i like an initial smell butthen find the 30 pound i spent would have been better off else where.

alltogether a beautiful perfume for going out, but not for everyday use.
