Girly smells Miss Dior (Christian Dior: Miss Dior Cherie, Eau de Parfum)

Ok, Ok, I have to admit I was drawn to this perfume based on the bottle and its very funky and fashionable advertising campaign. The campaign appeared to be set in Paris and I was just returning home from a lovely spring break there and treated myself to a bottle in the duty free (duty free is certainly not what it used to be, nowadays you hardly save any money at all!)

The bottle is gorgeous in appearance. It is rectangular glass, with very thick edges and therefore very heavy and sturdy. The neck has a bow round it, which manages to look classy and glamerous but not cheap and tacky. The tall round lid lifts off easily to reveal a press down spray top with sprays the perfume nice and evenly onto the area you wish to use it.

The perfume itself smells light and floral, not acidy or fruity. There is no distinctive one 'tune' to it, which is good I think for a blending into the background perfume. It lasts a day and night on your clothes, and when you go to put them in the wash the next morning you can still smell it then too.

A squirt or two a day makes this perfume last quite a while, which is obviously good value for money in these times of recession! Lots of people have likened it to Mulgers Angel, but I really dont think it smells the same.

I would recommend this for those who like a light girly fragrance.

Summary: Not overly distinctive, light and day time perfume.
