I've been using this Perfume for a few years now, although I own other Perfumes, I always revert back to this one. I could never afford nice Perfume when I was younger, I always bought the £1 ones from Poundland. And some of them smelt ok, but they never lasted. The first time I could afford to get myself some proper Perfume, I got this one, since I'd smelt it before in Boots and loved it.
The Perfume has top notes of Mango, Citrus and Freesia, culminating in a very summery, feminine smell. There are also touches of orange blossom, sandlewood, musk and white rose, all adding to the flowery and fruity fragrance. The smell is quite strong, so only a few sprays are needed, and I find that it lasts for most of the day, unless you're going out to a club or out for a long walk etc. If you're just going out for a meal, or to the shops, the scent will last quite a long while. I love the smell of this Perfume, I find that although it's quite strong, it's also light, feminine, and really gets you in the mood for Summer, although I use it all year round.
PRICE AND BOTTLE SIZE
I like to get the 100ml bottle, since I find it works out cheaper in the long run than buying small bottles. When I first starting buying this perfume, the 100ml bottle would cost around £30-£35 from places like Boots and Debenhams. However, I'd normally be able to shop around and get it for around £20 from Ebay. Most of the time the box didn't come with it, since it was intended as a tester bottle, but as long as it was the right Perfume, I wasn't bothered, since it was such a bargain.
However, now that the Perfume has been around for a few years, and there are other Christina Aguilera Perfumes on the market, the price for this one has dropped by quite a lot. I don't think Boots or Superdrug are stocking it anymore, but I know that CheapSmells.com sells the 100ml bottle for £17.00 now, which is an excellent price for that sized bottle. If you'd prefer to try a smaller bottle, Cheapsmells.com also sell a 30ml bottle for £9.94, and a 50ml bottle for £14.24. And all with free UK delivery.
I've also seen this Perfume for sale in Savers; I'm not entirely sure of the price, since I haven't bought it from there yet, but I know it was less than £20 for the 100ml, which considering it's not online, is a great price.
Overall, I think this is a great smelling Perfume, at a fantastic price. Due to new designer Perfumes coming onto the market, this one has dropped in price dramatically, meaning that people like me, who love it, can benefit from it being not so popular any more. If you're looking for a light, but strong, summery fragrance, I'd recommend this, you can't go wrong with the 30ml bottle being only £9.94 with free delivery!
Christina Aguilera is well known for being a singer but also an actress. She has also released a range of female fragrances including a self named one, By Night, Royal Desire and Inspire.
Inspire is available in an Eau de Parfum spray and also matching products including a body lotion and shower gel. Inspire is classed as a feminine. sexy and fun fragrance which allows the wearer to "stand out from the crowd".
The box changes depending on size purchased. The bottle remains every little bit as beautiful yet not as Inspiring as it could have been. It is a smooth, round bottle with a thick glass base and a large, round lid which gives the bottle I striking resemblence to one of the Paris Hilton fragrances. The liquid inside is a delightful pink shade.
Inspire is described as being "a beautiful white floral, with a lightness of touch, twisted with colourful fruit notes". How does it achieve this scent?
*Top notes - mango, citrus and freesia
*Heart notes - tuberose, gardenia and white rose
*Base notes - sandalwood, musk and Valencia orange blossom

I first got to try Inspire EDP during a college trip to Barcelona in March 2010. My room mate was wearing the scent and not being one to judge a perfume on the merits of how it smells on another person, I asked to spray this on myself. Not long after returning, I treated myself to a 100ml bottle which I paid around £20.00 for at the time. In a goodie box at Christmas (from my sister), I also received a solid perfume in this scent but this doesn't seem to be available now so I can only assume it was a limited edition product.
I have just ran finished the 100ml bottle and considering it has lasted me a year gives a good idea of how well it lasts! I have now moved onto the solid perfume though my views will be based on the actual spray (to avoid confusion). The bottle is very pretty and feminine. It is certainly a different design to the other Aguilera bottles as its less sultry. The spray releases a pleasant burst of scent onto the skin and only a small amount is needed for adequate coverage.
From the moment I tried this, I was drawn in to its beautifully unusual scent. The sweetness of the top notes its very smooth and almost creamy as opposed to fresh and fruity. It is an intoxicating scent that is very addictive. There is no note which particular jumps out but instead, they all blend to a light, exotic sweet cocktail. From the opening, I experienced what I consider to be a modern, youthful scent. This sweet composition remained noticeable for an hour or so which I loved.
The heart of Inspire is quite a bright and vibrant affair and not at all like you would assume from the given notes. If I had read the notes before purchasing or smelling, I would have passed this off as a having a strong floral heart but its actually really different and simply delightful to wear. The heart offers a bouquet of light, floral freshness with an underlying leafy aroma. The sweetness from the top notes makes itself noticeable in the form of subtle, delicate hints adding a new distinctness to the floral heart. It remains prominent on my skin for around 6-7hours.
The base of Inspire is intriguing and gradually slips into place whilst the heart becomes subtle. It is a smooth process which overlaps slightly and offers some amazing notes to blend but is shortlived. The full base offers a light blend of woodiness and hints of orange blossom. I feel the orange blossom evened out what could have been a deep, sweet scent but was certainly a pleasant change. The light scent remained on my skin for a further 4hours or so before completely evaporating.
This is certainly a youthful scent which I would say, is suited to those under 30 and certainlly moreso teenagers. Although it kind of goes backwards offering a heavy opening, medium heart and light base, it is ideal for day time or evening wear.
~Recommendation and Conclusion~
Inspire is a gorgeous, sweet scent which lasts incredibly well on my skin. Despite being a celebrity fragrance, it is of a high quality and is truly a delight to wear. I am going to be purchasing a new bottle soon though for the time being I will be using my solid perfume which gives almost the same amount of strength as the spray, but needs a few extra layers for consistency.
This is a very affordable scent and I would recommend buying the bigger bottle for home and a smaller bottle for your handbag although you don't really need to top it up unless you feel its neccessary. The gift set would make an ideal Christmas or birthday gift for a young person. A 5 star recommendation from me!
Thanks for reading :)
To be honest i wasn't too excited about this perfume as i hadn't heard much about it and it has such a standard looking bottle, but it actually is quite nice. It has a very fruity smell, so if you like fruity perfumes then this one's definetely for you!
When you first spritz this on you, you can really smell the citrusy freshness with a hint of mango that is simply delightful. I see this perfume as being more for a younger person, i couldn't picture my mum or anyone like that wearing it. I'd also say that this fragrance is best worn in the day time rather than on a night out, i personally like to go for something a little stronger for a night out.
It's not overpowering, but this does mean that the scent doesn't last for as long on me as i would like. When i wear this fragrance i usually have to take the bottle with me in my hand bag wherever i'm going and reapply it a few times to get it to stay.
This perfume is cheap to buy and you can get a 50ml bottle for £15.
Christina was born on 18/12/1980 and is a singer from America with lots of hits and CDs on her name. It started out on the television program "The Mickey Mouse Club" in 1993. That year, a star was born. Soon she got a record deal and made her first album. Her first album was a huge success. Like every artist/celebrity she has a perfume! This is called inspire.
The bottle is transparent with a red collar and has the name in white letters on the belly. The shape of the bottle is like a drop of water. The bottle looks a little chic and I actually like it. It was a light pink color what makes it more playful. The perfume comes in three different sizes namely 30, 50 and 100ml. I have the 50ml which cost around 15 pounds.
The scent smells a bit heavy at first, a kind of wood / nut combined with strong floral accents. Thereafter, the full flower scent comes to the front. This is becoming softer and sweeter. The scent is not too sweet (No vanilla). Most people who smelled the perfume said they liked it. In the end there is a light floral scent that fits well with a summer day. It has notes of mango, citrus, freesia, tuberose, rose, gardenia, Valencia orange flower, musk and sandalwood.
The perfume was beyond my expectations. I did not had such high expectations of a scent of a singer, but I actually liked it. Later that day when I tried it out I smelled my hand and was surprised! What a lovely summery smell. And also another very affordable. I would say if you're looking for a floral summer scent then you should really try this.
Inspire is Christina Aguilera's second perfume in her small perfume range. I liked her self titled perfume very much and looked forward to getting to try this one though I did wait a while before purchasing it as I had so many perfumes and my husband was frequently dropping hints at how much the bathroom was looking like Superdrug!
Inspire comes in three different sizes - 30ml, 50ml and 100ml and each is priced at £12.95, £14.99 and £20.99. Surprisingly this scent is alot cheaper than its predacessor despite it being newer which leads me to think that it is not as popular.
It comes in a very plain box - bright pink with "Christina Aguilera" in the same handwriting style font much the same as the last perfume and then in bold writing the name of the perfume "INSPIRE". This is all in white colouring.
I found the perfume bottle of this fragrance quite a disappointment especially when compared to the bottle for the "Christina Aguilera" self titled perfume. The bottle is tear drop shaped and it is clear but has a pink effect because that is the colour of the perfume itself. On the front of the bottle is the same font and design as the box has, declaring what the name of the perfume is and who it is by. Following up the bottle you reach the neck which has a bright pink band around it and this is met with a sliver lid which scoops upward and then becomes flat. On the top of the lid the letters "CA" are ingraved and the edge of the lid is pink and has little pink crystals stuck on. It is a simple bottle. Pretty but nothing special and it is one of my least favourite perfume bottles out of my whole collection.
The scent itself is very feminine. It has notes of mango, citrus, freesia, tuberose, rose, gardenia, Valencia orange flower, musk and sandalwood. If I am honest, I don't particular think much of this scent. I think all of the notes used are half hearted and each one is quite weak with nothing to enhance any of them. The perfume is sweet and it is nice but that is all it is nice - as Rachel from Friends once said "Nice? Nice? Mittens are nice!". It is a bit of a nothing scent in my opinion and was a big let down considering how much I liked Christina's previous perfume. The perfume is supposed to be inspiring and make you feel liberated but all it has ever inspired me to do is to reach for another perfume.
This floral, sweet and somewhat fruity scent is definately a summer scent but it is very subtle and you do need to use a fair bit to make it noticeable. I use 8 squirts each time I use this (though it is not often) and it still doesn't smell strong enough. And it only last two hours maximum before needing to apply it again.
I cannot recommend this perfume. I was highly let down by it and it just slinks into the shadow of its predacessor. It is much too subtle, the bottle is too simple and it is far from inspiring.
I tried this perfume several times now. I can honestly say even though the bottle is the not the most attractive, but the smell is really, really nice and something worth buying!
This is also Christina Aguilera's second perfume and this one was launched a couple of years ago, shortly after her first one.
The smell is kind of a fruity/floral smell which is nice as it makes you feel fresh and smell gorgeous at the same time - that is a bonus! So this perfume is an excellent day perfume, but it could be used at night too. Another good thing is that it is suitable to be carried around in your handbag and it won't take up much room either! Don't forget that this perfume is long lasting!
The presentation of the bottle isn't as nice as Christina's previous perfume, as this one is just some random perfume bottle with a plastic looking lid - which I found a huge disappointment as this is a very nice perfume and the lid kind of ruins it sadly. But the pink liquid does make the perfume seem pretty.
But the box of the perfume is very neatly presented with silver metalics around the rex box, but it does look a little boring, as the red stands out more than the silver on the box.
The price of the perfume is very fair, this can be found in most stores, but in Wilkinson the perfume is only sold at ten pounds for 50 ml - which you save twice as much if yo had bought it either in superdrug or Boots which would have cost you between 14-20 pounds (depending on which ml bottle you buy.)
Overall, this is a good perfume buy whether you're a fan of Christina or not, even though the bottle does ruin the product a little, but when you have a whisp of the perfume you will realise that the perfume is more important than the presentation.
Unlike many others, I am quite the fan of celebrity perfumes. This is because they are always reasonably priced, and often smell good too. Christina Aguilera has a range of perfumes, but I decided to try out this one which is 'Inspire'. I brought it to add to my collection for day time wear, and I think it is perfect for the spring and summer months due to its scent.
The bottle is very cute and girly, and shows the perfume which is a baby pink shade. The lid is quite big, and says 'CA' and has little studded diamonds around it. It is not the prettiest bottle that I own or have seen around, but I think it is fairly nice. It is also perfect for popping in to your handbag to carry around with you all day. As for the packaging, it was very pretty and all pink and white. When I purchased this perfume, I also got a free clutch bag with it which is actually surprisingly nice. There are often freebies with this particular perfume, so shop around if purchasing.
The scent is obviously the most important element, and I really feel that the scent matches the bottle. It has heart notes of rose, tuberose and frangipani. The top notes consist of mango, citrus complex and hydroponic freesia. The base notes are valencia orange, musk and sandalwood. In simpler terms, it is overall a very light, fruity scent. The rose makes it very girly, and it is absolutely perfect for summer. It is quite feminine and delicate, therefore if you are into stronger scents, this one is not for you!
For a celebrity perfume, this does actually have reasonably good staying power. It did not last on my skin throughout the day, however I wasn't constantly having to reapply it like I do with many celebrity perfumes. I would not say that staying power is fantastic, however it is reasonable for the price in which you are paying.
It is available to buy from a number of different places. These include drugstores such as Superdrug, department stores such as Debenhams and House of Fraser, perfume stores such as The Perfume Shop, and it is also sold on a number of websites online. I would suggest looking around online because you can often find perfumes a lot cheaper than paying the retail price. This perfume was only introduced in 2008 therefore it should not be difficult to track down.
Due to it being a celebrity perfume, the price is usually fairly reasonable. The price retails from around £15 to £25, which shows it isn't too expensive.
As far as I am aware, it is available in two sizes, which are a 30ml bottle and a 100ml bottle. I own the 30ml bottle, and it has lasted me a fair amount of time which is around six months when used regularly.
Overall, I would recommend this perfume as it has a lovely scent, and is quite well priced! The staying power is not fantastic, but overall it is a great perfume which is perfect for girly girls. Possibly not Christina's best perfume, but pretty good overall.
My brother bought me this as a xmas present, however got the inspire gift set which also includes the body lotion and a cosmetics bag. I must admit when i opened it i was expecting something cheap that smells nasty, as most fragrence bought out by stars are just plain nasty. Not being ungrateful i said thank you, opened it, squirted a little on my wrist and was pleasently suprised as it just smells all floral and girly and it lasts all day/night.
The body lotion smells just the same but is rather runny and watery, i like them quite thick and creamy, but it smells nice all the same.
The cosmetics bag is so diva like, i got one in red, it glimmers in the ligth and can get loads in there. I went away recently and managed to get all my make up, toothbrush and paste and hair bobbles and clips etc.
I would recomend this one for the girly girl type, it looks sweet, perfect size for your handbag and would look great as a present. I would be happy to reciev this again.
The shape of this bottle is absolutely beautiful. The lid is also nice and has intricate detail on the edges. The fragrance is fruity and fresh. It is a very subtle fragrance that is suitable for wearing during the day. I was lucky enough to receive a free make up bag with this purchase. It is not the sort of fragrance I would wear on a daily basis as it is quite a light fragrance and I would get bored of it easily. I also have two other Christina Aguilera perfumes (day and night) which I feel are nicer than this one. I would recommend you purchasing this perfume if you are looking for a perfume to add to your perfume collection or looking for a perfume to wear occasionally but go for the 30ml or 50ml as the 100ml is more expensive and you may get bored of it.

I tested INSPIRE several time's before deciding that I liked it enough to buy myself a bottle.
INSPIRE applies strongly, yet somehow remains light. I think this is thanks to the fruit notes mixed with the florals [I can't actually seperate any of the fruit notes myself], and the musky base is so classic, feminine and 'clean'.

I think the bottle is a fantastic cross between classical and modern designs. It looks nice on a dresser.

I was surprised by this: The lasting power is surprisingly poor for a fragrance that applied strongly.
I like INSPIRE because it's easy to dress up or down, morning or evening, for every season, so I'd be getting my money's worth.

I wouldn't re-buy INSPIRE, as the scent notes are blended too well; They're all jumbled and I can't seperate them, so I did become bored with this fragrance. Plus; it reminds me of various other scents; mainly Cacharel's ANAIS ANAIS.
If you enjoy white floral fragrances INSPIRE is a good choice; It is unexpensive and is light enough that it didn't give me any migraines.

I think this is about to be discontinued; It is becoming hard to find. Some stores and most online retailers sell 30ml and 50ml bottles for £20.00.
I used to see 100ml bottles too, they'll be around the £30.00 mark.
I sent of for a sample of this perfume right back when it was first released, I'm not to sure why because the first Christina perfume did not appeal to me at all. Anyway the company only sent me a bit of card with this scent sprayed on the back so understandably it had faded and died down quite a bit by the time it was delivered to me. But even after just one whiff of that weak smell I decided I needed to go out and buy own bottle because it smelt really nice. And I thought if it lasts at least a week (even if it is weak you can still smell it!) on cardboard it must have amazing staying power on skin and that was probably the biggest factor in my decision to buy it =]
The bottle is a light pretty pink in colour and doesnt really have any specific shape design. The bottom of the bottle is sort of a pink teardrop with Christina's name on the front in white lettering along with the name of the perfume. Although the bottle isn't anything special I think it looks pretty classy and understated. In short it will look great in any woman's perfume collection. Definitely a girly bottle.
After looking around the net I found that this perfume is described as a floral scent with notes of: Freesia, Citrus, Mango, Rose, Musk & Sandalwood. You really can smell the citrus when you first spray it and it does come across as quite a sharp scent but that quickly dies down to leave you with a very flowery scent. I would say the smell you actually end up with is a musky rose which isn't very unique I grant you but it still smells pretty great. I would say this is more of a night perfume because it's quite heavy and musky even after it dies down and it lasts around 6 hours which I think is good. Again if you don't like flowery perfumes this isn't one for you.
This is a nice enough perfume not the best Ive ever smelt but by far not the worst either. I would go out and buy it again but it hasnt made it's way into my top scents. As I mentioned on another perfume review earlier if you don't like flowery scents that are quite heavy then I do not recommend you buy this one. However it is a lovely feminine scent that lasts for ages so it is good overall. Unfortunately there are so many perfumes that smell exactly like this out there and probably cheaper as well so unless you REALLY like the smell I would stick to other's.
A 100ml bottle of this fragrance on boots.com will set you back around £37.

I got this is a gift last year, but pretty much ignored it due to getting B-spot from Benefit a few weeks after. Being the idiot I am I smashed that so I had to find a new fragrance that I could wear all the time - by this I mean, something that wouldn't be too heavy and I found this. It is a perfect day perfume - light and subtle but you can smell it. It's also really fresh and reminds me of spring. It's not exactly floral and I would describe it as 'sparkling' if that makes sense. As a scent I would definitely reccomend it; I can't really see many people disliking it.
What I would say though is that the bottle really leaves much to be desired. Despite being kind of pretty I suppose, it's far too plain and gives the element of cheapness, however this is so not what the fragrance is. I found a vintage looking (actually I suppose it is proper vintage as it was my grandmother's) perfume bottle with a squeezy sponge thing and I poured it into that.
Price-wise, it's quite good I think. It lasts for ages because you only need a couple of squirts, so you get your money's worth; good value.
(please note i have moved this review here to avoid confusion, as it was previously under the 1st CA fragrance)
I got this as a gift and I have to say it is an absolutely gorgeous fragrance. It is fresh and subtle which I love, two spray is usually enough and the smell does last for a good 2 - 3 hours ( which tbh, in comparison to other fragrances i have tried, is not long)
It is described as a floral fragrance which is exactly what you can smell, top notes are 'freesia, citrus and mango' I found that when you first apply it you get a hint of citrus but this is only the top note so it doesn't last long - which is good as I have found that heavily fruity fragrances tend to get sickly after a while - but then the floral scents come through - it has heart notes of ' tuberose, rose and gardina' with base notes of ' Valencia orange flower, musk and sandalwood'. I have to say the combination of rose and musk is fantastic and after the top notes have disappeared these two are the more prevailing scents than the others.
The bottle itself is simple and comparing to the first fragrance bottle in CA's and other fragances packaging this one looks cheap - which is a downside considering the rrp (approx £19 -£36), it is a clear bottle allowing you to see the pink liquid with a sort of cone shaped plastic lid.
Packaging aside, if you're looking for a light, feminine fragrance ... then this would be my recommendation.
Inspire is a beautiful white floral fragrance, with a lightness of touch, twisted with colourful fruity top notes of mango and citrus. This is a fragrance that's classic and enduring - sweetly feminine but with a vibrant freesia top note that, although small and delicate, is powerful enough to fill the room just like Christina herself. At the heart, a beautifully crafted combination of tuberose, rose, and gardenia, Christina's favourite flowers and a real reflection of her femininity. Meanwhile, lingering base notes of Valencia orange flower, musk and sandalwood add a sexy vibe with a sensual edge. Christina Aguilera Inspire encourages you to feel liberated to be yourself and create your own world on your own terms. Be inspired, be sexy and be yourself.
