Advantages: Scent, Affordable

Disadvantages: Staying Power Is Not Great

Unlike many others, I am quite the fan of celebrity perfumes. This is because they are always reasonably priced, and often smell good too. Christina Aguilera has a range of perfumes, but I decided to try out this one which is 'Inspire'. I brought it to add to my collection for day time wear, and I think it is perfect for the spring and summer months due to its scent.

The bottle is very cute and girly, and shows the perfume which is a baby pink shade. The lid is quite big, and says 'CA' and has little studded diamonds around it. It is not the prettiest bottle that I own or have seen around, but I think it is fairly nice. It is also perfect for popping in to your handbag to carry around with you all day. As for the packaging, it was very pretty and all pink and white. When I purchased this perfume, I also got a free clutch bag with it which is actually surprisingly nice. There are often freebies with this particular perfume, so shop around if purchasing.

The scent is obviously the most important element, and I really feel that the scent matches the bottle. It has heart notes of rose, tuberose and frangipani. The top notes consist of mango, citrus complex and hydroponic freesia. The base notes are valencia orange, musk and sandalwood. In simpler terms, it is overall a very light, fruity scent. The rose makes it very girly, and it is absolutely perfect for summer. It is quite feminine and delicate, therefore if you are into stronger scents, this one is not for you!

For a celebrity perfume, this does actually have reasonably good staying power. It did not last on my skin throughout the day, however I wasn't constantly having to reapply it like I do with many celebrity perfumes. I would not say that staying power is fantastic, however it is reasonable for the price in which you are paying.

It is available to buy from a number of different places. These include drugstores such as Superdrug, department stores such as Debenhams and House of Fraser, perfume stores such as The Perfume Shop, and it is also sold on a number of websites online. I would suggest looking around online because you can often find perfumes a lot cheaper than paying the retail price. This perfume was only introduced in 2008 therefore it should not be difficult to track down.

Due to it being a celebrity perfume, the price is usually fairly reasonable. The price retails from around £15 to £25, which shows it isn't too expensive.

As far as I am aware, it is available in two sizes, which are a 30ml bottle and a 100ml bottle. I own the 30ml bottle, and it has lasted me a fair amount of time which is around six months when used regularly.

Overall, I would recommend this perfume as it has a lovely scent, and is quite well priced! The staying power is not fantastic, but overall it is a great perfume which is perfect for girly girls. Possibly not Christina's best perfume, but pretty good overall.

Summary: A decent perfume.
