Calvin Klein: CK One, Eau de Toilette

Calvin Klein make some of the most well known perfumes in the world for both men and women and this fragrance is one of the most well known fragrances from any brand. CK One is one of the few unisex perfumes that is actually suited to both males and females. I have smelt many of the so called unisex perfumes in the past and only a few have been truly unisex in my opinion as most swing slighty towards either sex and usually suits females more than males. In my last review I spoke of a perfume which I ordered from the internet and had no idea if the scent would suit me. Well now I’m in a similar scenario where some one has been on holiday and bought me a bottle of CK One Summer perfume. So will it pass my sniffer test? This is one of the first perfumes i remember wearing and smelling. At first the smell can be slightly over powering, but once it has breathed a little it is the best smell ever. I love is because it is a smell that you can wear all year round. Every time i wear it some one will ask me what i am wearing and 9 times out of 10 they will be very suprised with my reply. I find that you do not need to wear as much of it in the summer. I think that this is a perfume that all ages can wear. Released in 1994 Calvin Klein: One is simplicity in eau de toilette. Design:- Coming in a simple off white casing the bottle is itself very simple with the letters ck and one written in silver and the rest of the bottle being frosted with a simple metal top. The bottle itself is a very plain one with no elaborate glass sculpting. Calvin Klein's CK1 comes in a plain box and a plain slim frosted glass bottle with the Logo CK one written in black. It is easy to recognise but it's plain packaging belies the subtlty of the fragrance. It is one of my favourite perfumes and has been for a few years. My daughter, fully grown now, used to 'borrow' some from my dressing table and always seemed suprised when I knew she had done so as a drift of it wafted past on her.
