Advantages: Lovely smell, great staying power, reasonably priced.

This fragrance is now a few years old and perhaps some people might think twice about buying it as a present for someone, but just because it is not the latest perfume by Calvin Klein shouldn't mean that someone wouldn't appreciate it if you gave it to them. I'm saying this because whenever I choose to wear CK One I get asked 'What perfume are you wearing? Is it CK One? It's really nice' - people, I'm sure, are under the impression that it is now outdated and are for some reason 'surprised' when they find themselves liking it. Everyone knows its smell and everyone can put the name to it.

Being a fragrance for both men and women I believe it contains that little something that is missing from women's perfumes - that little touch of masculinity, if you know what I mean. It's that 'dusky' smell that I just love in men's fragrances. This being so, I always choose to wear it on casual occasions - for example when out shopping. It has great staying power, more so than other Calvin Klein fragrances I have used.

Being a fragrance that has been around for more than a couple of years and being one that has always been aimed at the younger generations - it is very reasonably priced and would make a wonderful gift for any young lady.

Personally I would not buy it for a man because I prefer a man to wear a more 'manly' aftershave/fragrance with a slightly heavier feel to it.

Whoever you choose to buy CK One for I'm sure it would be appreciated - it's not like other fragrances that you would put aside and never use if given it as a gift - this one is great for any casual occasion and is ideal for taking on those short trips and holidays. The bottle is very basic and easy to wrap up and put in your suitcase. You wouldn't be worried about it breaking as it is more or less rectangular in shape - a perfect design for travelling with! I have a bottle of CK One sitting on
my dressing table at the moment and if I were to be given another one as a present I would be more than happy to have it. It certainly wouldn't go to waste!
