Happy in Bloom is a limited edition scent from Clinique, based on their signature fragrance, 'Happy'. The Happy in Bloom scent is released around spring time every year and is stocked for a limited period of time. I purchased the 100ml bottle around two years ago and am still loving it!
The scent is marketed as being a light, pretty floral scent, made with a combination of frozen fruits, yellow plum and white freesia. I would definitely agree that this scent is light and pretty. The scent is very wearable and does smell prominently floral, however this is a very light scent and so gives a gentle veil of springtime scent, as oppose to a heavy dousing! It fits the springtime theme very well, as an perfume which is subtle to wear. This is not a scent I would really every wear in Autumn of Winter due to its delicate floral composition.
The packaging for this fragrance is also very simple and fresh, matching the marketing of the fragrance. It comes in a simple glass bottle with pink flowers on the front and 'Clinique Happy in Bloom' also written on the front in a simple pink font. The lid is silver and fits the perfume tightly, it does not fall off as some others do.
I believe I paid around £45 for my 100ml bottle, but I do not begrudge paying this a I love the scent! In spring/summer I can literally wear it everyday, it is long lasting and you don't need to apply to much in order to achieve the desired result. As I mentioned I am now on my second year use of this fragrance and am just over half way through my bottle, so it definitely lasts and the scent does not fade over time, just make sure to keep it out of direct sunlight as this can cause the scent to degenrate.
I would throughly recommend that you give this a try next time it is released, I love it!
I recently purchased a bottle of this Clinique Limited Edition Happy in Bloom at duty free whilst I was on holiday and I haven't been disappointed with it. What firstly attracted me to it was the beautiful bottle. On the front it has a wonderful flower design, little pink flowers, described by Clinique as a bloom of spring flowers. To me they look like they have been drawn in a stencil effect and are very striking and the bottle definitely makes a lovely edition to your make up table.
Clinique is one of the world's largest suppliers of prestige makeup and fragrance products. It was launched by Estee Lauder Companies in August 1968. I have always viewed Clinique as an upmarket product and one that is known to have a very good reputation. It is more expensive than other makeup and skin care ranges but I always hear good things about it and that it actually works so sometimes it is worth paying more for something that produces results.
I was also attracted to this fragrance because I have Clinique Happy and I was interested to see how this fragrance was different. I love Clinique Happy because I think it as a very simple, clean fragrance with a beautiful, non offensive smell and one that I think most people can wear. It is perfect for any occasion.
Clinique Happy in Bloom is described as a delicate, pretty and charming blend of frozen fruits, yellow plum and white freesia. I would definitely agree that it is delicate as I find it a very light fragrance. Yes, it is flowery but not overpowering and definitely not an old persons fragrance, it really is a young smell and perfect for spring/summer.
I purchased a bottle and I think it cost about £29 but that was duty free so other places might be a bit more expensive.
This is one of four of the main fragrances that Clinique sells. However Clinique Happy in Bloom is a limited edition that comes out around February/March every year. They tend to have limited stock (around 10-20 per store) so they run out of these quickly!
It is my favourite Clinique fragrance. It is the perfect spring/summer fragrance which is extremely long lasting. I have had several people ask me what beautiful fragrance I am wearing when I have it on.
They used to come only in a 50ml for around £37. Now they only come in a 100ml for £45.00 or they sometimes do a miniature perfume of 30ml with a lipgloss as a set.
It is a fruity, floral fragrance with plum, freesia and mimosa in. It is certainly one worth trying! If Clinique doesn't have any in stock if you went into try some, it is worth asking because they more than likely have the tester in the drawer that you could smell.
I hope you will like it as much as I do!
I was first introduced to this wonderful smelling perfume through one of the free gift givaways that Clinique consistently offers. After I started using this delightful smell, every time I go out with this perfume I am complimented on how nice I smell. The name of this perfume is perfect for the description of the perfume. It is a happy smell. Clinique always offer high quality products. This product is a little expensive though and it is not a very sexy smell, it is more of a friendly smell...if that makes any sense at all.
I would recommend this product as an everyday perfume. It has a very high concentrate which makes a little bit go a long way which is not true for all perfumes. Some you spray and after a few minutes the smell is gone. This one lasts for hours and hours.
I definately recommend this perfume.
Clinique: Happy in Bloom is a super cute fragrance. I know I'm using a visual to describe an odor, but run with me on this. The smell is light, fresh, and sweet. Obviously it is a floral scent, but it's not your mother's perfume! It's awesome for an everyday scent, although you may need to refresh yourself halfway through the day because it wears off after a few hours. What's left when it fades is a shimmer of flowers glowing on your skin. Don't apply too much, as even this light fragrance can get overwhelming when used in excess. The only problem I have noticed with this perfume is that sometimes I will get a slight burning sensation on my neck when it is applied--I suppose that perhaps it is the alcohol in it, but then again, it could just be me. Overall, I find that it is a quality scent by Clinique: light, fresh and airy, just as perfumes should be.
