Advantages: A refreshing introduction from Calvin Klein

Disadvantages: Not for sale in smaller retail shops

***Why I have tried this perfume***

Firstly this was a gift from my fiancee bought at the airport as a last minute gift,so I don't think much thought went into its purchase. The main reason he purchased it was because it is from Calvin Klein a well known brand. I had never heard of this perfume before this point.

***The smell***

This perfume is delicate and feminine. As one of many perfumes introduced by Calvin Klein it is a subtle change from the usual fragrances introduced over the years. The smell is exhilarating, fresh and vibrant. The perfume can be described as possessing a blend of pure pepper, rose, satin wood and sandalwood.

***Availability***

Contradiction is widely available in most of larger stores that stock perfume but some of the smaller stores only sell the more recent or most popular perfumes. It is also widely available on several different sites on the internet. This includes 30ml, 50ml and 100ml bottles.

***The cost***

The price of 'Contradiction' varies greatly. The cheapest costs I have found are £10.95 (30ml), £16.50 (50ml) and £22.00 (100ml) but I do advise you shop around as some shops/scent sell the perfume at very high prices.

***My opinion***

I was pleasantly surprised when I received this perfume as I have grown quite bored of the Calvin Klein fragrances I have previously owned. In my opinion there is not much different in their individual smells. I have mostly worn this perfume throughout the day as I do not think it is strong enough or sexy enough to wear for a night out. But it depends on your preference.

The perfume smells enough for it to catch your attention without being overpowering. A lot of people have made nice comments on my smell and since then I have smelled this perfume on my friends and family.

It is a perfume you will remember for all the right reasons.
