... described i think as woody and it is quite an earthy scent. It smells expensive and "classy". It isnt a clasic flowery smell which is why I like it and it isnt at all cloying which I think is a common mistake modern perfumes make. Chanel Cristalle has been selling now for some 30 years which is testament to its appeal. As with all perfums it is best once it has worn off a bit and it has a subtle smell then. I have always loved Chanel Cristalle and it is one of those perfumes that i have gone back to time and time again over the years. if ever I am in a duty free shop in the airport I always have a spray of this scent. The concept of reviewing a perfume is strange to me as there is nothing as subjective as the scent you like but there is something about chanel perfums in general that I love.
