The David Beckham Intimately for Her Eau de Toilette is available from GBP 21.50.
The flacon is simplistic and square-shaped. The atomizer of the perfume is golden and the lid is clear. The label is on the flacon.
The Eau de Toilette is described as follows. "Intimately for Her is a feminine, sensual fragrance. The result is a multi-faceted, inspirational, feminine fragrance. The initial notes are an opulent bouquet of white flowers. Pure, fresh notes of Bergamot and Rose Petals linger on the skin. The exquisite heart of Casablanca lily, sublime Tuberose and sensual Orange Blossom leads to a seductive base of voluptuous Vanilla, rich Sandalwood and an elegant, sensual layer of Musk."
The Eau de Toilette is a fresh, intensive perfume with a flowery scent. The scent of white flowers and citrus fruits can be perceived. After it follows a flowery flavour that reminds of tuberose and casablanca lilies. The scent becomes heavy afterwards. A intensive musk and a light vanilla flavour follows.
The top note exists of rose, white flowers and bergamot. The middle notes include casablanca lily, tuberose and orange blossom. The base note consists of sandalwood, musk and vanilla.
The Eau de Toilette holds a short time. The scent lessened after around an hour and was light and obvious after around two hours.
I cannot recommend the David Beckham Intimately for Her Eau de Toilette, as the perfume only holds a short time. The perfume has a fresh, intensive scent.
Price:- £11.75 on amazon for a 75ml, I bought mine on a trip to Bournemouth from the perfume shop but I can't remember how much I paid.
I was on a girls beach trip to Bournemouth in late July. The weather wasn't perfect for the beach so we headed to the town I needed a new perfume, I hadn't a clue what I was looking for or anything I usually stick to the same one Britney Spears range but wanted to mix things up and get a new one. The women behind the desk recommended Intimately. I sprayed a bit on my wrist, waited quite a while before making my decision and well I loved it from the first smell but I wanted to make the scent linger in the air, mainly to make sure I could put up with the smell all day. I don't wear this perfume everyday as I also have another one from monsoon which I also love so I alternate them.
The perfume comes in a pink box,it's square as you can see from the picture, I love the bottle I think it's cute.
The scent:- I would describe the smell as quite sweet and floral, I love it but I can see some people thinking it's over powering it is quite a strong and definite smell which is what I love about it.
The name intimately Beckham well who wouldn't want to get intimate with Beckham, David Beckham of course so the name is rather fitting.
I'm half way through my 75ml bottle now, I think it'll last me a few more months perhaps till about May. It it all depends on how often you would use it.
I would recommend this perfume if you like sweet smells which are quite flowery, it does remind me a bit of going to a florists or say in a garden on a summers day surrounded by beautiful flowers.
~*~ The Purchase ~*~
I bought this perfume as part of a gift set around a year ago in the 2012 January sales. I didn't particularly want or need it, but seeing as it was reduced by a few pounds I decided that it was a bargain and ended up buying a few of the gift sets with the intention of giving them away as presents, but I ended up keeping one for myself.
~*~ Price ~*~
I bought this as part of a gift set which came with the 30ml perfume, a body lotion and a shower gel and I paid around £20.00 if I remember correctly. A 30ml bottle currently retails at around £15.00 and there's also a larger 75ml bottle available as well.
~*~ The Bottle ~*~
The glass bottle is incredibly simplistic and not particularly eye catching or unique, however it looks reasonably good quality and it doesn't look out of place amongst my many other perfumes. It's basically a short, squat square shape with a cubed shaped lid and a golden spray nozzle along with the perfume name written in golden writing on the front.
~*~ The Smell and My Opinion ~*~
As I mentioned above, I've had this perfume for around a year now and I've barely touched it because I really don't like it, but I can't bring myself to throw it away so it's just sat on my dressing table! The smell is just really overpowering and not at all what I was expecting it to smell like. I was expecting a girly, summer light fragrance which would be versatile enough to wear whenever I wanted.
It's a very generic floral fragrance which would be nice if it wasn't so pungent, but it also has some quite odd undertones to it which smell quite unpleasant. The top notes consist of bergamot & rose petals while the heart notes include Casablanca lily, tuberose and orange blossom. The base notes are vanilla and sandalwood. There's quite a strong musky scent which starts to become more noticeable over time which helps balance out the floral scent and sweetness of the vanilla, but the different scents don't really work well together in my opinion.
I'd say that the scent would be best suited to a young woman, although at 21 I find it a bit too young for me because of the almost sickly vanillary floral sweetness. This is just my personal preference though and I'm sure that both older and younger women may like it. As for the lasting power, it's dire. I'd say it takes around three to four hours before it has almost completely faded, which I find bizarre considering how strong and overpowering the scent is! Because this is such an overpowering scent I don't feel comfortable wearing this on a daily basis in case people around me find it too strong, and as a result I very rarely wear it and I wouldn't recommend it.
~*~ Overall ~*~
I'm not keen on this perfume and I give it two out of five stars. It's an overpoweringly strong fragrance and the lasting power is absolutely rubbish.
One out of five stars.
Their first line of perfumes came on the market in 2007. Victoria is the big brain behind the fragrance. She wants to give everyone a little bit of her and David. Of course they are a brand themselves with a lots of products so it was a matter of time with would come out with their own fragrances.
It is a small square bottle (the 15ml version). It is made of thick clear glass. You can't look through it. The perfume itself is light pink in color, so the bottle has a pink glow. On the front is a label showing in pink: Beckham Intimately. The spray has a shiny pink salmon color. The cap itself is square and white transparent. On top of the cap is the logo of the Beckhams.
The smell is quite sweet and dominating. The composition is a rose fragrance with bergamont, vanilla, sandalwood, Casablanca, lily and musk. The scent smells really strongly of flowers and I recognize the rose scent. The whole basis I can not recognize back. I smell the vanilla very light as I do my best. The smell is too heavy and a bit too floral for my taste. I find it a little too intense.
I'm not too happy with this fragrance. I never really put it on because I do not like the strong smell. The smell is too strong for my taste. Even with just one spray it's too overwhelming. I must say that the scent is long lasting, so the quality is okay. The price / quality ratio is also good, as it is very economical to use. You only need one spray to make perfume work. The design of the bottle I think is beautiful but the scent is the main importance with a perfume and that's disappointing so only 2 stars.
Intmately Beckham - Fragrance for Women
What is it?
A fragrance for women developed under the 'Beckham' brand.
Claims to be a 'voluptuously radiant fragrance full of elegance and sensuality.
What do I think?
I think this stuff really stinks! It reeks of being up too close to someone with body odour...surely when they were making this up and testing it they had more than a few people's opinions....?
Ok, it is a pretty heavy scent, not exactly floral, light and feminine, I suppose this scent does remind a lot of Victoria Beckham, pretty, robust, strong, and probably the more dominant and masculine of the two, and I guess this scent probably reflects this...
It is supposed to contain rose, bergamont, vanilla, sandalwood, Casablanca lily and musk. The first thing that hits you is the musk and the heaviness of the scent is further accentuated by the Casablanca lily... I haven't really been able to tell the other ingredients apart, as for the rose, it's such a light scent, it gets completely drowned out by the others, and surely, containing so many dominating ingredients does create a very rich heavy scent.
I suppose this would be a good scent for days when a woman needs to instill confidence and boldness for that particular day, definitely not for the faint hearted and I would probably ever recommend the eau de toilette version only, this is the only form that I have actually tried and already it is too strong. I think the scent would also be good when worn on a cold day or during winters, I really cannot imagine anyone wanting to wear this during the summer or when the environment is really sweaty and humid.
The price actually isn't bad, only around £13 for a 75ml eau de toilette spray. I wouldn't normally buy this at all, and I'm so glad I was given this free to try...
Maybe they could dilute it down....?
Thanks for reading.
I am certainly not a Beckham fan in any way shape or form never the less I brought this for my partner as a christmas gift as when I went christmas shopping and went to the perfume shop i just happend to smell it and I just could not resist the smell! I loved it from the off so I had to purchase it. When I gave it him on Christmas day and he opened it, he was quite surprised I brought him something like that because he isnt a Beckham fan either but when he tried it he loved it and he has even said to me when I run out could you buy me some more? I definately said yes because it is realy nice.
the smell reminds abit of a spice, nutmeg or something like that, its a very masculine scent.
It cost me around £25 for a 75ml spray bottle. Which I thought was a bit pricey being a student but its certainly worth the money bceause he tends to only use this particular one when he goes out so it lasts a while.
I would certainly recommend this product it could be a gift, a treat for yourself or like me next time I buy it, it will just be because i love it the smell of it on my partner.
I have never been much of a fan of the "Beckhams" and the little fantasy world that surrounds them maybe it's a bit of jealousy that they have millions of money and no worries or maybe its because I am sick of buying a magazine and seeing Victoria's tiny little frame walking about in designer items and captions underneath stating she is a fashion icon, annoying. But this review is not about Victoria Beckham (or any of the Beckhams for that matter) nor is it about their masses of merchandise lines which are all getting oh so boring, it is about ONE particular line which would pleasantly surprise even the biggest loather of Victoria Beckham.
Intimately Beckham is a beautiful, unusual fragrance. It does not smell like a cheap old celebrity fragrance but smells classy and luxurious (so much so I save mine as my "going out" perfume!). I think the strongest scents which come through are Vanilla which keeps it sweet and girly and there are also some floral scents - I think Lilies (which I could not fail to recognise as they are my favourite flowers) and possibly Roses.
It is quite a strong perfume, and so lasts the day. I have seen me putting it on in the morning before a day out and still being able to smell it at night when I am home! I would say it could suit both a day out or an evening out but I feel because it is quite musky it is possibly a bit much for work so mine tends to be kept for my days off!
The perfume comes in a short fat cube like bottle with a little cube lid on the top. I feel these bottles always look that little bit more expensive than the brightly coloured, strangely shaped bottles! The perfume itself is a very light peach/pink colour and this can be seen in the bottle but also reflects onto the clear glass adding to its pretty-ness and elegant-ness! The 50ml bottle is fairly large and lucky the scent is so strong because I would not say it is suitable for putting in your handbag definetly one to be left on the dressing table.
I got mine for my 21st birthday last year so I looked up the prices in the Perfume Shop.
30ml bottle - £18.50
50ml bottle - £23.50
Gift set (30ml bottle & body lotion) - £14.99
Priced the same as any other celebrity perfume I think, would make a perfect birthday present - do not let the Beckham name put you off!

Gift Set (50ml EDT & 150ml body lotion) - £26.00

*~ The Packaging ~*
*~The Box ~*
The box is a cube with a baby pink top and bottom and two, opposite sides are pink. In the centre of the top, in gold is the Beckhams logo and each of the pink sides are identical, in gold: the logo is at the top Intimately Beckham is written in a gold box below and underneath that Women eau de toilette.
The other two sides are also identical to each other, there is a picture of Victoria, her back to the camera leaning on to David who is facing the camera, Victoria is wearing a pink silk low back dress and David is wearing a black (or maybe navy) silk shirt which is open. The background behind them seems to be of hanging silver and black beads (like the ones you hang from doors) and to the side of them we see (yet again) the logo and intimately Beckham. The box opens revealing the bottle, but what I though was strange is that it has a thin cardboard strip holding the perfume bottle tighter inside the box. The box is bigger than the bottle so it seems as if theyve tried to make it seem as if the bottle inside is going to be really big by making the box bigger?! Unless theres some other explanation for it (please enlighten me if there is) I was quite angry at this, if you buy 50ml then thats what you expect, your not going to think oh the box is big so Ill buy it - 50ml is 50ml, no matter how big the box or bottle may seem!
*~The Bottle ~*
The bottle is glass a square with a square pull-off top to match and has a gold spray pump. The bottle is clear revealing its pale pink contents. The bottle has a bowl-like shaped glass bottom inside (similar to some glasses - you know, when theyve got that extra bit of glass inside - sorry for sounding so stupid) so it first appears that you have more perfume, so not only does the box fool you but the bottle does too! There is a pink, rectangular sticker on the front with intimately Beckham written in gold. On the top of the lid, we find yet again, the Beckham logo. The bottle is quite feminine and pretty in general, it looks quite expensive and you wouldnt be embarrassed to have it on your dressing table.
*~ The Fragrance ~*
The fragrance is very feminine, it has quite a flowery smell to it with a slight tinge of musk. It isnt too strong; its strong enough for people around you to notice it but it isnt so strong that you get a headache from it. Its one of them perfumes where you think its faded away but then someone compliments it and asks what it is. Although there is also an intimately Beckham night I think this perfume is suitable for both day and night wear. Its an all round nice perfume and I will definitely be buying it again once mine has run out.

Im not a particular fan of the Beckhams, in fact at certain times all the constant media attention and hype surrounding them does irritate me to the point where I cant actually pick up a magazine without seeing them on the cover and wanting to throw it out the window! When I heard the Beckhams were following the trend of every other celebrity out there and releasing their own fragrances I was quite curious to have a sniff!
The perfume itself actually comes under David Beckhams name on several websites and is called Intimately Beckham For Her. Theres also a male aftershave which is called Intimately Beckham For Him. The range also has another aftershave which is called Intense Instinct. The Intimately Beckham range was released back in August 2006 and advertisement started booming for the range as early as June 2006.
The perfume itself comes in a baby pink box with black and gold embossed writing on which creates quite an elegant vision. The bottle itself is made of glass and comes in a rectangular bottle which means it sits easily on any surface, the lid is a smaller reflection of the bottom in that its a small cube glass lid which makes application quite easy as all you need to do is pull the lid off. Do watch if youre carrying it around in your bag though!
The perfume itself is a light pink colour which fits in with the theme of the packaging. The scent initially smells quite sweet in the bottle and although it does has a slightly sickly sweet smell it is quite light once youve actually sprayed it which reduces the sweetness somewhat. Its quite flowery smelling and is said to contain the scent of white flowers, bergamot and rose petals. There are hints of vanilla and quite a musky element to it as well. I wouldnt describe it as a strong scent, nor would I describe it as particularly seductive but more an everyday sort of smell that would be suitable for all occasions.
After 30 minutes The scent has definitely lessened somewhat and blended in with my skin, its quite musky smelling and the sweet essence has decreased a lot. It has weakened quite a lot, when I walk past people I like them to get hints of the perfume Im wearing but with this I would wonder if that happened unless it was excessively applied!
After 4 hours The scent has decreased quite a lot so that its only very mild now, if I was out (rather than sat around the house in my pajamas!) Id probably have reapplied it about an hour ago to ensure it was still obvious. As such its not a long lasting scent on the skin compared to other perfumes Ive used in the past.
The prices for this perfume arent quite as expensive as you might expect, some high street stores do seem to bump up the price a little although I think in this case youre largely paying for the name. Ive found that its cheaper to buy this online with the following sites offering the best prices: -
30ml - £10.99
50ml - £14.99
75ml - £22.99
Just to give you an idea of the high street prices Debenhams offer the three bottles starting at £19.50 and the largest bottle retails at £32.50 so you can get the 70ml bottle almost for half price online at Cheap Smells!
I personally got this perfume as a birthday present after requesting it once Id smelt in a store. I havent actually overly used it if Im honest, mainly because I prefer some of my other perfumes to it and tend to stick with what I like. I probably wouldnt buy it again as its a little weak for me and doesnt last long on the skin. Apparently theyre due to release a new set of fragrances shortly in this range so I shall certainly be sampling that one too!
