Picked up some DB Signature eau de toilette recently for a very modest 16.99 in an online sale. Took a bit of a gamble as I had never smelt it before but thought it was worth the gamble after reading some reviews.
My first impressions were that the bottle and spray part on the top of the bottle were quite cheap. The plaque on the front with the brand and fragrance name is a nice touch and looks smart against the purple bottle. Purple isn't the manliest colour in the world and this bottle could easily be confused for perfume on first glance.
Smell is something that I find hard to define in a review, however after reading a few descriptions I would whole heartedly agree with the description of this fragrance. "A fresh woody oriental" smell describes it perfectly. This may sound silly as the description is how it should smell, however after reading a few different reviews of other fragrances I own which I severely disagreed with its not always plain sailing with fragrance descriptions!
The smell is very fresh and clean which is lovely in the mornings after a shower, I prefer this to a more sickly smell when I wake up. The aftershave isn't the most long lasting, but for the reduced price I paid I was very happy. I'm not sure I would pay full whack for such an aftershave as I wouldn't class it as high quality or special, I wouldn't wear it out for a meal or special occasion but it is brilliant for everyday use that isn't breaking the bank!
Just a short conclusion saying that I would recommend this to a friend BUT only as an every day cheap smell to purchase at a reduced price, that is why it gets 3 stars from me.
