I got the Davidoff Adventure EDT for my other half as a birthday present earlier this year and it has become one of his favourite fragrances to use.

It was launched back in 2008 with the advert including Ewan McGregor and is said to captivate the wilderness and adventure of life. It is presented in a small glass bottle with a silver top. The glass bottle has a slight amber tone to it and is solid and simple in its design. A bottle will set you back around £25.00 from the Perfume Shop or Boots. The bottle is then supplied in a tidy brown box which has a rustic feel to it, like the great outdoors which is clearly Davidoff's aim for the EDT.

The fragrance has a top note of Black Sesame, with a base note of Cedarwood. You can pick up on the cedarwood as soon as its applied and the woody tones make this a warm fragrance and is quite masculine. I couldn't pick up on the Black Sesame as I am unsure of what this would actually smell like, but the whole fragrance seems earthly and warm. As the name suggests it really does lend itself to the outdoors.

When applied the EDT is not strong at all and despite its earthy woody tones is light on the skin and has not got much depth. It also seems to wear off quite quickly within 3-4 hours so is not great for longevity and staying power. For that reason my boyfriend finds he does have to reapply it if he wants an all day fragrance so a 30 ml bottle does not last that long, but at an average price of £25 I don't feel you can complain too much. Despite its lack of staying power he does love the fragrance and has since bought another 2 bottles. He says the unusual earthy tone is more for a day time fragrance as he prefers a crispier fragrance for evening etc but he likes the outdoors feel to Davidoff Adventure.
