My parents have just been on holiday and brought back this eau de toilette for me as a gift for looking after their house. I love perfume bottles almost as much as I love the contents and this bottle certainly ticks the box.

The 30 ml bottle comes in a metallic blue box. Inside is a transparent, bright blue tear drop shaped bottle. Taking off the lid reveals a silver 'atomiser spray' that is obviously used to apply the scent. Aesthetically this bottle is very pleasing, the shape makes me want to pick it up and touch it! It sits nicely on my dressing table and the bright blue of the glass makes it stand out amongst its more subtle neighbours.

I have set ideas on when to wear certain perfumes and will share a couple of these with you. My Red Door (Elizabeth Arden) perfume is an evening perfume to be worn when I go out to a party/ gathering. It smells divine, but needs a 'big' venue as its quite heavy. I wear my Allure (Chanel) when I need a bit of a boost in confidence eg interviews, meetings, presentations. Clinique's Happy is my day to day perfume, its light, fruity and flirty (a bit like myself!). My boyfriend bought me some Ralph Lauren Romance perfume for Valentines day. It smells absolutely gorgeous and I wear that if I am doing something special during the day eg meeting friends for lunch. Its fresh and light but more special to me than Happy, hence the distinction!

Thank you for staying with me through that ramble as it leads me to tell you where Cool Water for Women fits in. This fragrance is bright and fresh. It appears to be quite long lasting as I can still faintly smell the spray I put on yesterday evening this morning. I feel at this moment that it is going to be a daytime fragrance, possibly alternating with Happy as its a very similar type of smell. A quick squish and I will be ready to face the day ahead!
