Diesel Fuel Life Unlimited Eau de Parfum

Advantages: Unique scent, nice enough bottle
Disadvantages: A little on the sharp side, nothing special, not for everyone
Diesel Fuel For Life Unlimited was the second fragrance my fiancé ever bought for me. It was a surprise gift and he really loved the scent.
He bought me the 30ml eau de parfum. As it is a smaller bottle, it does not come with the pouch that the larger bottles come with. The back of the box states 'bottle without pouch'.

These are around the prices I would expect to pay for this product.
~ Bottle ~
The bottle is made of dark tinted glass. It is a flat bottle with a gold pattern on and "Diesel Fuel For Life Unlimited For women only" in small gold lettering on the front of the bottle. The lid of the perfume is small and cylindrical and has 'Diesel' engraved across the top.
The bottle is nice enough, but not very feminine. It is nothing special.
~ Scent ~
The scent blends notes of bergamot, lemon, liquorice, star anise and white flowers. It was launched in 2008 and is described as a floral, fruity fragrance for women.
I always thought of this scent as harsh and was never keen on it. It has grown on me a bit, although it is not my favourite scent.
The liquorice dominates this fragrance. As well as the harshness of the liquorice, It has a sweetness to it and I can also detect a fruity element. The sharpness of the liquorice was what initially put me off this fragrance, but I have got used to it and grown to quite like this perfume.
I have worn this scent in the past for night's out and that's what this scent reminds me of. Particularly when I first got this and wasn't so keen on the scent, I remember it being long lasting and being able to smell this on myself right up until the end of the night!
I think this perfume would be suitable for a women of all ages, although I don't imagine teenagers would wear this.
~ Overall ~
Overall, this perfume is a little bit sharp, but I find it a lot more bearable now than I did when I first got it and have grown to quite like it. I find the bottle is nothing too special and the scent is not much better. It is not the most feminine of fragrances. I would recommend this perfume to anyone looking for a unique and interesting scent, but would strongly recommend to try before you buy. Although I have grown to like this fragrance, I would not buy it again. It is more of a stepmother or stepfather situation - getting along just to make the best of a bad situation.
Summary: 4/5 stars!
