I love perfume and usually get a nice new fragrance for my birthday and at Christmas time, two Christmas' ago I was bought Diesel Plus Feminine.
This perfumes bottle has a milk kind of theme, it comes in a milk carton style box with a cow on the front of it, and the actual bottle is white like a carton of milk and with Diesel Plus Feminine written on it in red and black. I do not really get the milk reference with this perfume, but I suppose it made it stand out in the shop when I lifted it up so I can't really fault it either.
Top notes: bitter orange, lily-of-the-valley, cassis, pineapple and fruity notes
Middle note: jasmine, coconut, magnolia, orchid, lily, cherry, strawberry, red apple and milk
Base notes: musk, sandalwood, virginia cedar, amber, nutmeg, vanille and orris root
What I Thought
I really like this perfume, I think it smells lovely and has a nice mix of fruity and coconut scents to it. I would definitely recommend this as an everyday perfume, it smells really fresh and is a little different to most other ladies perfumes that I have tried. I have been complimented on this perfume quite a few times when I was wearing it throughout the day, and I have re purchased it a few times now since the first time I tried it.
I found that when I was applying this perfume, it isn't really that strong and it usually takes about 2-3 sprays of it to get a nice scent. It does however have good staying power and sometimes when I am wearing it, I catch a nice wiff of it throughout the day which is quite reassuring as I know then I still smell nice.
Price and Availability
You can buy this perfume quite cheaply in perfume stores and chemists. A 75ml bottle costs in around £8-£15 depending on where you decide to buy it. I think that this is quite a fair price for this perfume because it isn't as nice as some more expensive perfumes for special occasions, but it is a good perfume to wear every day.
I think that this is a nice, cheap perfume that can be used everyday. It smells lovely and has good staying power. Overall I would give this perfume 5 out of 5 stars.

When it comes to perfume I am usually a creature of habit and stick to what I know. However I was asked by my best buddy Mel what I wanted for Christmas last year and to her surprised I asked for some Diesel Plus Plus Feminine.I went into my local perfume shop and tried loads of scents and this one just did it for me. I was over joyed Christmas morning when I realised Santa had listened to what I asked for I didn't just get the perfume I got other pressies too. Thanks Mel I love it.
I was spoilt not only by my mate but by her parents and my parents too.
Comes in a white bottle clearly states the brand name in white lettering in a red square background, to the bottom it says it is for females (feminine). The bottle is rather attractive looking and will look nice on anybodies dressing table or bathroom.
The bottle contains 75ml or 2.5fl oz perfume.
Myself using it~
I am not really into get in your face pongy perfumes. I like light and suttle scents. This perfume lasts up to three hours without needing to reapply it. The smell reminds me very much of coconuts. It is definitely a me fragrance without a shadow of a doubt. I usually wear this in the day time. It is also available in the male version too.
Available from amazon for around £10. a bottle.
Last year a friend of mine moved to another country. She couldn't really take her whole collection of beauty products with her so she thought of me and let me take whatever I wanted. Among the random selection I took was a barely used 75ml bottle of Diesel Plus Plus Eau de Toilette for women. I have never owned this perfume before but it took me back to when I was 16 and my boyfriend at the time had the men's version of this. I seem to remember although it smelt masculine it has quite a sweet scent so I assumed the women's version would be very sweet.
The box is silver with a picture of a cow and the red and white Diesel logo. I think it is meant to look like a milk carton but I'm not sure why! The bottle is very solid and feels like it is made of white china. The lid looks the same but is made from white plastic. It lifts to reveal a silver coloured metal spray pump. The bottle has the Diesel logo again and black lettering on the back with some brief product information. The bottle is very simple and to be honest very ugly. I think it is the same as the men's version so it has no femininity at all. It looks quite cheap and almost like a pot of pills or something else medical because it is so simple and clean in design. I actually keep this in the bathroom cabinet rather than on display on my dressing table because I really don't like the look of this bottle. It has has the disadvantage of not being able to see the contents of the bottle and therefore how much you have left.
The top notes of this perfume are bitter orange, lily-of-the-valley, cassis, and pineapple. Initially you do get quite a zingy fruity scent, which although it is fresh also has quite a warmth to it. The heart notes are jasmine, coconut, magnolia, orchid, lily, cherry, strawberry and red apple. This gives a warm fruity and floral scent which is sweet but not too sweet. I can really smell the coconut which does really compliment the other notes. The base notes are musk, sandalwood, Virginia cedar, amber, nutmeg, vanilla and orris root. This gives a musky smell but not too dry because there is still a hint of fruit and the scent remains floral. I would describe this fragrance as warm, sweet, fruity, floral with a hint of musk. Surprisingly I do actually really like the smell of this perfume and I think it smells rather seductive. I think this has quite a young smell but isn't as unsubstantial as a lot of fragrances aimed at younger women. It could be used for either day or night and I have found it to have good staying power so it doesn't need reapplying throughout the day.
The standard price for this fragrance seems to be £9.99 but a few times I have seen it in the "bargain bin" of various shops at around £4.99. This is obviously a brilliant price and great value for money.
I wouldn't recommend giving this as a gift simply because it has been around since 1997 and I think people will have seen it at a bargain price and would probably buy it themselves if they want it. Also I think the unattractive bottle and strange milk carton style box are rather dated. I think this is a good perfume for someone on a budget who has run out of perfume and wants something pleasant and versatile to wear.
I was given this perfume as a gift and the first thing i noticed about this Diesel fragrance is that the bottle looks rather like a milk bottle and the packaging is like a milk carton which i found quite interesting! I think the perfume is supposed to have milk elements which is the reason for the design of the bottle, but to me it didn't even smell slightly milky so i think they missed the boat by a mile with that one ...
I found it quite a heavy scent that smelled really masculine, the description of this perfume says it is supposed to smell of florals, vanilla & lily and i just think "Are they actually talking about the same perfume?!" It is completely different to the description to be honest and it's really nothing special. I ended up just using mine as an occasional air freshener! I would prefer this smell on my boyfriend rather than myself!
It is cheap to buy, a 75ml bottle is only about £10 but i still wouldn't really reccomend it.
Recently I purchased myself some new fragrances to cheer up my existing collection . After not being overly keen on the Diesel 'Plus' (the sister of this product) I was wary of purchasing this but at £4.99 instead of the usual price tag of £10.00 I decided to buy it cos I thought it was a bargain lol. I'm such a manic buyer that I never even sniffed the tester of this and grabbed a box without really know what I was buying to be honest with you lol!
The box is silver with a flowery pattern on the front and I'm clearly told what it is and who it's by. That's it really for information on the box. The bottle is 75ml white (feels heavy when full) bottle with silver push button sprayer situated at the top of it with a matching round, white plastic lid that covers said sprayer and pulls on and off simply. On the front I'm told it's Diesel Plus Plus feminine. On the back I'm told it's got 82% volume and is a manufactured By Marbert Cosmetics and contact details for them are given and once again told it's Eau De Toilette and the size is again stated. Very plain to look at and quite uninteresting really and it appears more functional than anything and not one bit feminine in my opinion.
Well firstly it sprays out very easily and quite wet but dries into the skin almost immediately and leaves no sticky or greasy residue on the skin at all you can simply dress almost immediately after using it without a problem and with no irritation.
Scent wise this is classified as a day time fragrance but because of it's durability on the skin could be used for day time or evening wear in my view if you like it of course.
The smell is richly made up of floral scents. I have no idea which flowers are in this blend but nothing heavy as such, such as rose or orchid or anything like that but the blend is quite Oriental in flavours but gentle and undistinctive ingredients are used. Although I feel gentle flowers are used fragrance wise it's still very highly and richly fragranced and is quite velvety and smooth and so it's delicate in many ways in it's approach but it's still very highly fragranced indeed and expect it to stay highly fragranced for about 4 hours and then it fades but you can still sniff it and smell it slightly on the skin for a good few hours after that.
All In All....
For everything I've said about it that's quite positive I find that it's a bit cheap smelling and this in my mind is down to one reason and that's because the blend in none distinctive. It's fresh and clean enough, quite sweet with a hint of musk in there and is interesting enough and not a flat smell but I'd prefer a top note to this and a smell that is recognisable.
At £10.00 a bottle it's economical down to the fact that you really don't need to use too much on your skin to get the smell going on and it's a laster once it's on but for me it just hasn't got that expensive feel to it that I appreciate!
Available in all-sorts of outlets including Boots and Superdrug.
I have bought several bottles of diesel for myself and often recieve bottles as presents. This is probably down to the great value for money. This perfume is really cheap and great to wear everyday for work etc.
The smell itself is quite strong but sweet and subtle. It may not smell like many other more expesive bottles of perfume but for the price your paying i think its great!
It comes in a plain but smart white bottle which is small enough to fit inside your handbag. Which means its ideal to take to work or on a day out.
I would really recomend this its geart!
