I have always liked the DKNY Be Delicious perfumes and in the past have tried both the green and red versions but when my sister returned from her holidays with the pale pink fresh blossom variety I had to try it. When I tried it I realised that I really liked the fragrance and so asked my brother to buy me some as a gift this Christmas just past. This is my review of DKNY Be Delicious fresh blossom.

The DKNY Be Delicious fresh blossom that my brother bought for me was in a gift set along with a shower gel in the fragrance as well. It was packed in a white box with a pink line around it as well as the product name which I believe is pretty much how the fragrance comes packed if bought alone anyway.

Inside the box was a 30ml bottle of eau de parfum and what I just love about this range of perfumes is the fact that they are designed to look like apples as I just think it is really cute. The bottom of the bottle is a clear glass through which you can see the pale pink coloured perfume inside and then the top of the bottle is a shiny silver which acts almost like a mirror and which features a small sticker with the DKNY name and the product name as well much like those small stickers that you get on apples sometimes which I think is cute. The bottle appeals to me because it is simple but pretty too and it isn't too big or bulky so it would look nice on a dressing table but would fit equally well in a bag for a night out.

When you pull off the silver lid you expose the bulk of the glass bottle which has a silver spray on the top to dispense the fragrance. I find that just one or two sprays is plenty with this one as it comes out well and as it is an eau de parfum rather than eau de toilette it is quite strong anyway. The fragrance is strong to begin with and I can smell the fruitiness of it as well as the floral aspect as well. It smells summery, fun and playful in my opinion. The combination of fruit and flowers works really well in this case I think and provides an end result which is perfect in my opinion. I am totally rubbish at picking out individual notes but I have looked online on the perfume shop website to find them for those who are able to make sense of them!

Heart notes: Sheer muget and petally rose wrapped in a luminous jasmine
Top notes: Sparkling grapefruit, cassis and sun kissed apricot
Base notes: Blonde woods and smooth skin accords

I find that this fragrance settles nicely on to my skin but it is also evident throughout the day and I would not feel the need to reapply it unless I was going to be going out somewhere. The fragrance remains subtle but fresh as the day goes on and this is something I really like because so many fragrances these days have very little staying power at all. The scent it perfect for both day time wear and evenings out and I would say it works well through all the seasons too so it is very versatile.

Should you be interested in purchasing this fragrance I would advise that you can pick it up from amazon and cheap smells for £21.50 for a 30ml bottle which I think is excellent value really. The 50ml bottle can be bought for around £34 from cheap smells which again is a very good price in my opinion and I certainly recommend this fragrance.
