The top has a lid which pulls off and reveals the atomiser for applying the perfume. The perfume is a floral oriental, with top notes of lychee, champagne and crisp apple, mid-notes of rose and patchouli, and base notes of raspberry and amber. I received DKNY Red Delicious some years ago for a Christmas present. Admittedly it was clearly a 'I had no clue what to get you but all girls like smelly things' type presents, however when I received this I was fairly pleased as I had heard a lot about the Delicious collection and was waiting to try them out for myself. The box was a very striking bright red in colour; with a slightly pinker red pin stripe around the whole thing towards the bottom half of the box. I'm actually a fan of the Green Delicious fragrance, and initially only purchased the Red version because in came in a double pack (a bargain they tend to do each summer, works out around £27 for both, so keep an eye out for that one ;-) Anyway, those of you who like the Green fragrance, should really give Red a go. I had high expectations for the product, DKNY Red Delicious EDP for women, because of positive comments and recommendations about it from some of my friends, saying its smelt wonderful. So I asked my dad to get it as he wanted to know what to get me from his business trip to America.
