Hot on the heels of its big sis (DKNY: Red Delicious, Eau de Parfum)

Disadvantages: Not really an evening fragrance

I'm actually a fan of the Green Delicious fragrance, and initially only purchased the Red version because in came in a double pack (a bargain they tend to do each summer, works out around £27 for both, so keep an eye out for that one ;-)

Anyway, those of you who like the Green fragrance, should really give Red a go. Admittedly when I initially compared the two at and in-store perfume counter, I didn't think much of the Red.

However, now I've actually used it a few times, I love it for a day to day fragrance. Personally I think the smell is slightly 'deeper' than the Green, but this means that as much as I don't like to admit it, the fragrance of Red lasts longer that that of the Green.

I don't think I would go and purchase Red at full price regularly, as I still prefer the lighter fragrance of Green (I'm one of these who isn't into hugely overpowering perfumes). Although saying that, Red is also great for the winter months as it has that added richness that Green does not (by this I mean you can still smell it under silly winter layers!).

Places seem to do the Red on offer a lot more as I don't think it's quite as popular as Green. So, if you do happen to see it on a deal, it is definitely worth snapping it up! Alternating (and mixing) the two fragrances really makes you notice them more - and they definitely brighten up my day at work.
I have also had loads of people commenting on how nice and 'fresh' it smells, and asking me which one it is. Great for positive attention :-)
